Naza Premira issues official statement on Aprilia

Naza Premira Sdn Bhd has released an official press statement regarding their distributorship status for Aprilia here in Malaysia.
After a mutual decision with Piaggio Group, they’ve decided to cease its operation as the brand’s official distributor starting 31 July 2018.
With that being said, Naza Premira Sdn Bhd will continue to represent Piaggio and Vespa brands in Malaysia.

It’s been a while since we last heard anything regarding Aprilia and its presence here in Malaysia. In fact, the last major event organised by them was the official launch of the amazing 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF and Tuono 1100 V4 held last year in conjunction with the Shell Malaysia Motorcycle Grand Prix (MotoGP). MotoGP: Andrea Iannone confirms move to Aprilia!

Andrea Iannone has confirmed his place in the 2019 MotoGP season after signing a two-year deal with Aprilia.
The 28-year-old Italian will partner up with Aprilia’s current rider, Aleix Espargaro.
This also means that Scott Redding will be out of the Italian factory squad at the end of the 2018 season.

The current Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Andrea Iannone has announced that he will be riding for the Aprilia factory squad for 2019 and 2020. This comes to as no surprise thanks to a number of rumours floating around for a while and further discussed after announcing his exit from Suzuki at the end of the season. (more…)

Moto Guzzi Malaysia’s authorized aftersales center, GB Workshop, is having a Service Campaign in conjunction with Ramadhan and Hari Raya Puasa.
Moto Guzzi up north may also visit the Moto Guzzi Service Centre at Sheng Fatt Motor Sdn. Bhd. in Penang.
The campaign runs from 16th May to 17th July 2018.

Moto Guzzi Malaysia’s official service centre, GB Workshop, has launched a service campaign in time for the holy month of Ramadhan and Hari Raya Puasa. What better way to make sure your Moto Guzzi is in tip-top condition before you head home to celebrate Raya with your loved ones.

The campaign runs from 16th May to 17th July 2018.

The GB Workshop Service Campaign consists of such as:

Multipoint safety checks tailored for each model and according to your riding needs.
Free air filter for selected models when you service your Moto Guzzi, while stocks last.
15% promotion for selected parts and accessories.

GB Workshop is well-equipped with the latest Piaggio Advanced Diagnosis System (PADS), as well as the special tools necessary for working on Moto Guzzis. The personnel are also trained professionals who are experienced in working on that brand. Please bear in mind that you are travelling home for Hari Raya Puasa.

2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF LE – 125 units with aero fairings!

The 2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF LE is the world’s first bike which has been fitted with aero fairings.

The design was obviously inspired by their MotoGP project bike, the Aprilia RS-GP.

Only 125 units will be made for the North American market at $24,499 (around RM95,484) each.

Meet the world’s first production superbike which comes ready with aero fairings and no, you can’t have one. Aprilia will only produce 125 units of the 2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF LE for the North American market where 100 of these babies will be available in the US and the other 25 in Canada. (more…)

2018 Aprilia RS 150 and Tuono 150 launched in India!

The 2018 Aprilia RS 150 and Tuono 150 have just been launched at the Delhi Auto Show 2018.

The baby Aprilias are heavily-inspired by their bigger and much more powerful siblings, the RSV4 and Tuono 1100.

No plans on when the bikes will be made available as the preview is only done as a feedback exercise by Aprilia.

The Delhi Auto Show 2018 currently happening in India has seen a few interesting models being launched but the ones that caught our biggest attention are the 2018 Aprilia RS 150 and Tuono 150. That’s right, folks. The RSV4 and Tuono 1100 have brand new baby brothers! (more…)

‘Winglet’ Bakal Dibenarkan Bagi WorldSBK Musim 2018?

Musim 2018 WorldSBK akan diperkemaskini dengan peraturan baru seperti membenarkan pasukan menggunakan ‘komponen aerodinamik’ pada motosikal perlumbaan mereka.
Namun ianya datang dengan syarat, iaitu sebarang komponen aerodinamik mestilah disediakan dahulu untuk motosikal yang telah dihomologasikan.
Dunia motosikal superbike pengeluaran pada tahun 2019 pasti akan menjadi lebih menarik sekiranya pasukan dalam siri WorldSBK mematuhi peraturan terbaru ini secara serius memandangkan betapa besarnya kelebihan ‘aerofairing’ ini terutamanya seperti yang boleh dilihat dalam MotoGP.

Winglets ALLOWED for WorldSBK 2018 season?

The WorldSBK 2018 season will be updated with new rules such as allowing teams to use ‘aerodynamic components’ on their race motorcycles.

There is a catch however as any of the aerodynamic components must first be made available to the homologated motorcycle.

The world of production superbikes in 2019 will be quite interesting if WorldSBK pick up this new ruling seriously considering how a big of an advantage ‘aerofairings’ can be especially seen in MotoGP.

The FIM World Superbike Championship has been introducing a lot of revolutionary changes and updates for 2018 to make the motorsport more exciting and appealing to fans around the world. Despite some setbacks laid out for some manufacturers such as limiting engine RPMs to make the field more evenly competitive, the Superbikes commission will now allow the use of ‘aerodynamic components’ come 2018. Motosikal Aprilia RSV4 RF Factory Works 2018 terbaru yang akan tiba pada tahun hadapan akan dilengkapi dengan beberapa buah teknologi MotoGP, terutamanya winglet.
Dijana oleh enjin 999.6cc, sejukan cecair, DOHC, motosikal RSV4 RF Factory Works ini menghasilkan 215hp dengan bantuan omboh, kepala silinder, ECU dan ekzos perlumbaan yang baru.
Hampir 10kg berat tambahan telah dikurangkan atas jasa bateri litium-ion, tangki bahanapi, ekzos baru beserta dengan beberapa bahagian karbon dan aluminium.

2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF Factory Works– Now with WINGLETS!

The latest 2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF Factory Works which will be available sometime next year will come with some MotoGP tech, particularly winglets.

Powered by a 999.6cc V4, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, this particular RSV4 RF Factory Works produces 215hp thanks to new pistons, heads, ECU and full-racing exhaust.

Almost 10kg of extra weight has been shaved thanks to a brand new lithium-ion battery, fuel tank, exhaust and a few other carbon and aluminium parts.

It’s all a matter of time before the latest MotoGP technology drips down the manufacturer’s production bike and looks like Aprilia is the first one to deliver the opening uppercut. From their Aprilia RS-GP race machine to the 250hp RSV4 R FW-GP, they will now offer the 2018 Aprilia RSV4 RF Factory Works fitted with winglets. YES, WINGLETS. (more…)

Naza Premira Sdn. Bhd. baru sahaja melancarkan motosikal Aprilia RSV4 RF dan Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 Factory 2017 semalam.
Pelancaran itu telah diadakan di satu sesi ‘meet & greet‘ pasukan Aprilia Racing Team Gresini bersama dengan penunggang MotoGP mereka, Sam Lowes.

2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF and Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 Factory launched! From RM104,251

Naza Premira Sdn Bhd has just launched the latest 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF and Aprilia Tuono 1100 V4 Factory yesterday.

The launch was held at the Aprilia Racing Team Gresini meet and greet session with their MotoGP rider, Sam Lowes.

The 2017 RSV4 RF is priced at RM127,571 while the 2017 Tuono 1100 V4 Factory is at RM104,251 (basic prices with GST).

In conjunction with the upcoming Shell Malaysia MotoGP round which is happening this very weekend, Naza Premira Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor of Aprilia motorcycles here in Malaysia took the opportunity to launch two of their latest motorcycles in their current line-up.
