WorldSBK: Chaz Davies sustains ‘Fractured Vertebrae’ in Misano Race 1 Collision

During the first race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round in Misano, the intense race concluded with Tom Sykes, Alex Lowes and Jonathan Rea crossing the finish line.

During the final lap, Chaz Davies, Jonathan Rea and Marco Melandri who were leading the race before Melandri crashed out halfway through the lap.

Davies suffered the same front tyre wash out but Rea wasn’t able to avoid him and ran over the 30 year old Brit with his Kawasaki ZX-10RR.

During the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round which ran its course at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, it was a weekend filled with drama and action for the race series that’s probably one the climatic points in the Superbike World Championship races. (more…)

WorldSBK: Tom Sykes wins dramatic Race 1 in Misano

The first race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” saw Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) crossing the line in first place in the final lap drama.

All three front runners who are Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) and Marco Melandri crashed out in the final lap of the race.

Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team) secured second followed by Rea who managed to salvage the final podium spot after the huge collision with Davies.

It was an epic win for Kawasaki Racing Team rider Tom Sykes who miraculously crossed the finished line in first place during the first race of the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. It was an amazing win considering that he was in fourth at the beginning of the final lap with a significant gap between Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team), Chaz Davies and his Aruba.it Racing Ducati team mate, Marco Melandri. Yamaha Lancarkan Cruiser 250cc Terbaru – Yamaha V Star 250 2018! (RM18,606)

Yamaha Motor Corporation (USA) telah melancarkan satu lagi penambahan kepada rangkaian motosikal berkapasiti kecil mereka, motosikal cruiser Yamaha V Star 250 2018.
Dijana oleh enjin karburetor 249cc, V-berkembar 60 darjah, sejukan udara, SOHC, ianya satu-satunya motosikal V-berkembar dalam kelasnya.
Yamaha V Star 250 2018 ini akan mula dikeluarkan untuk pasaran Amerika Syarikat pada awal September 2017 dengan tanda harganya pada $4,349 (kira- kira RM18,606).

Yamaha launches new 250cc cruiser – 2018 Yamaha V Star 250! (RM18,606)

Yamaha Motor Corporation (USA) followed up with yet another addition to their small capacity motorcycle line up with the 2018 Yamaha V Star 250 cruiser.

Powered by a 249cc,60-degree V-twin, air-cooled, SOHC carburettor engine, it’s the only V-twin motorcycle in its class.

The US market will start delivering the 2018 V Star 250 beginning September 2017 with a price tag of $4,349 (around RM18,606).

Together with the very recent release of the 2018 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 dual-sport motorcycles, Yamaha continues to expand their small capacity bike line up with the addition of the 2018 Yamaha V Star 250 cruiser. The all-new 2018 Yamaha YZ450F dirt bike can now be tuned using an app which can be downloaded on your iPhone or Android devices.

The bike features a Wi-Fi enabled ECU which helps in making changes to settings like fuel and ignition mappings with just a touch of the phone.

Other new features include a new engine, frame, transmission and radiator which sum up the price of the 2018 Yamaha YZ450F at $9,199 (around RM39,201).

Yamaha presents 2018 Yamaha Star Venture aka “Transcontinental Tourer”

The latest 2018 Yamaha Star Venture has been revealed as the latest and most luxurious touring machine available from Yamaha.

Powered with a brand new 1,854cc V-Twin engine, the Star Venture is also equipped with an electric motor to add more ease in forward and reverse movements in tight spots like parking.

Over 140 litres of storage space is available including a rear trunk that can easily fit two full-face helmets with ease.

We all know Yamaha has a very extensive sport-touring motorcycles in their line-up from the very capable FJ-09 to the extreme dual-sport Super Tenere but the one machine that’s missing in this line up is a luxury tourer. MotoWorld initiates donation drive for Norizman Ismail

MotoWorld Malaysia will be running a generous initiative for the holy month of Ramadan for the fallen Malaysian Cub Prix rider, Norizman Ismail.

A portion of their total sales earnings from now until Hari Raya will be donated to Norizman’s family for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

MotoWorld Malaysia will also set up a donation box in their store located in Petaling Jaya for those who wish to donate directly to Norizman’s family.

The great folks over at MotoWorld Malaysia are running a charity initiative for the late Malaysian Cub Prix rider, Norizman Ismail. The well-known veteran rider who had a very successful race career in the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix races for many years sadly passed away earlier this month in Kemaman, Terengganu. (more…)

Siapakah Penunggang GP Pertama Malaysia?

Dengan lebih ramai penunggang-penunggang dari Malaysia bertanding di peringkat antarabangsa di seluruh dunia, sudah tentu kita tertanya-tanya siapakah penunggang GP pertama Malaysia.
Terdapat ramai warga Malaysia yang telah bertanding di perlumbaan GP nasional dan juga serantau semenjak tahun 60-an hingga 80-an, seperti pelumba legenda Oh Kah Beng dikenali sebagai “Foreman Oh” dan Kuan Huah Chin dikenali sebagai “Bulldog Kuan”.
Penunggang GP moden pertama tidak lain dan tidak bukan, Shahrol Yuzy, yang memulakan kerjaya GP antarabangsanya pada tahun 1996 dan bersara pada tahun 2002.
