MotoGP: Joan Mir signs with Suzuki for 2019 and 2020!

Joan Mir has signed a two-year deal with the Suzuki MotoGP factory team.
The 2017 Moto3 world champion will be riding the Suzuki GSX-RR for the next two seasons alongside Alex Rins.
The current Moto2 rookie is already gaining podium finishes in the intermediate class.

It has been quite a turbulent MotoGP silly season with a number of high profile jumps. From Jorge Lorenzo signing with Honda to Andrea Iannone getting an Aprilia seat, the next hot piece of news confirms Moto2’s Joan Mir moving up to Team Suzuki Ecstar for the next two seasons. (more…)

The Ram Jam Festival 2018 is coming soon on 15 July 2018 at the Gasket Alley, Petaling Jaya.

Nicky Hayden statue unveiled in his hometown

A Nicky Hayden statue was revealed in honour of the fallen 2006 MotoGP world champion.
It was around this time last year that the MotoGP Legend was struck down by a car while training in Italy.
The statue was commissioned by the city of Owensboro, Kentucky and the Hayden family.

It was a sad day back in May of 2017 when the world lost the 2006 MotoGP world champion, Nicky Hayden. After a year since the tragic incident where the 35-year-old was hit by a car whilst training, his hometown of Owensboro, Kentucky has unveiled a statue in honour of the MotoGP Legend. (more…)

Moto2: Hector Barbera fired for drunk driving

Current Pons HP40 Racing team rider Hector Barbera has been fired for a drunk driving conviction.
The 31-year-old was found guilty of driving over the limit in Spain last week and was handed a one-year driving ban.
The parting of ways between the ex-MotoGP rider and the Pons HP40 Racing team is effective immediately.

The Pons HP40 Racing Team has issued an official announcement stating that they have parted ways with their current Moto2 rider, Hector Barbera. This is due to the fact that Barbera was convicted with drunk driving earlier this week in Spain. (more…)

MotoGP: Andrea Iannone confirms move to Aprilia!

Andrea Iannone has confirmed his place in the 2019 MotoGP season after signing a two-year deal with Aprilia.
The 28-year-old Italian will partner up with Aprilia’s current rider, Aleix Espargaro.
This also means that Scott Redding will be out of the Italian factory squad at the end of the 2018 season.

The current Team Suzuki Ecstar rider Andrea Iannone has announced that he will be riding for the Aprilia factory squad for 2019 and 2020. This comes to as no surprise thanks to a number of rumours floating around for a while and further discussed after announcing his exit from Suzuki at the end of the season. (more…)
