History of Boon Siew Honda – How it all began

The history of Boon Siew Honda started way back in the 1950s when a 43 year old man from Penang went for a vacation to Japan set his eyes on the Honda Cub motorcycles.

The late Tan Sri Dato Loh Boon Siew decided to ship some model back to Malaysia to help Malaysia find the right mode of transportation to rebuild the nation after World War II.

Together with Soichiro Honda himself, Boon Siew Honda managed to turn the Honda motorcycles into household names by the 1970s when they introduced the very popular Honda C70 and the rest is history.

It was sometime back in 1958 when a 43 year old man from Penang made his way to Japan and saw something that would change his life as well as the Malaysian motorcycle industry forever. At the time, the late Tan Sri Dato Loh Boon Siew witnessed a Honda motorcycle that struck his very core with its beauty as well as practicality and being the natural businessman that he was, he decided to ship over a few Honda cubs over to Malaysia to test the waters. Boon Siew Honda introduces upgraded 2017 Honda CBR650F & CB650F – From RM44,995

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has just released and upgraded versions of their 2017 Honda CBR650F and Honda CB650F with a bunch of internal and external upgrades.

The new 650F range now comes with a reworked engine with more power and torque as well as upgraded suspension, brake and lighting systems.

The upgraded 2017 Honda CBR650F and CB650F are priced at RM47,117.94 and RM44,995.94 respectively (basic prices with GST).

The folks over at Boon Siew Honda (BSH) have just introduced the latest 2017 Honda CBR650F and Honda CB650F upgraded for 2017. The middleweight sports bike options from BSH now comes with a bunch of upgraded specs as well as new colour schemes. (more…)

Is this the new 2018 BMW S1000RR?

There’s a photo going around that some people have already assumed is the latest generation 2018 BMW S1000RR.

Photographed by Motorrad Magazine, the suspected new sports bike from BMW Motorrad sported all-round new updates to the chassis, swingarm and other body panel.

Rumours have also been circulating regarding BMW’s super brand new four cylinder engine that they’re going to put in their next generation premium sports bike for the coming year.

There’s one very specific picture that’s currently making its way around the internet that shows what people are assuming is the next generation BMW S1000RR. Based on our findings, we can confirm that the people are not wrong when referring the photo you see above. (more…)

GIVI launches new square 32-litre GIVI B32 Bold Topcase – RM222

GIVI Asia has launched their latest GIVI B32 Bold Topcase with a square boxy design and 32 litres of capacity.

The new design was chosen specifically to provide a different option for those who are not into the oval-shaped topcases in the current market.

The new B32 Bold Topcase is priced at RM222 (basic price with GST) and comes together with a base plate. Motorcycle rack is sold separately.

GIVI, the very well known Italian motorcycle accessory manufacturer has unveiled their latest addition to the medium size topcase motorcycle storage or “topbox” known as the Monolock B32 Bold. Boon Siew Honda gets Satu HATI Honda Team Asia ready for Suzuka 8 Hours Race

The Boon Siew Honda Motorsports Team has been selected as the first ever Malaysian outfit to handle the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia for the 40^th Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance race.

Boon Siew Honda Motorsports Team Manager, Zulhelmi bin Ahmad together with his mechanic team will be the first ever Malaysian team to not only support but lead the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia in Suzuka this year.

This year, Malaysian rider Zaqhwan Zaidi together with Indonesian Dimas Ekky Pramata and Thai ARRC rider Ratthapong Wilairot will give their all to emerge as victors in the endurance race.

The BSH Motorsport team prepare the shine at the international stage.

A new milestone has been reached by Boon Siew Honda Motorsports team as they are set to become the first ever Malaysian outfit to official get the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia ready for the 40^th Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race which will be held this weekend. (more…)

Go to the Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 & WIN THIS CUSTOM YAMAHA RXZ TWINBOSS DRAGSTER!

This year’s Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 will be giving away a very special grand prize on Sunday in the form of a Yamaha RXZ Twinboss dragster motorcycle.

As Malaysians who are deep in the motorcycle scene or industry, there’s no denying the fact that two-stroke motorcycles play a huge role in the how the motorcycling scene has developed through the years.
