2018 Benelli Leoncino 500 available in February

The 2018 Benelli Leoncino 500 will arrive in showrooms this coming February.

Mforce Bike Holdings has received over 1,000 bookings ever since the bike was launched back in October 2017.

Priced at RM27,999 (basic price without GST), the Leoncino 500 produces 47hp and 45Nm of torque.

Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has announced that the 2018 Benelli Leoncino 500 will arrive this February at all authorised Benelli showrooms across the country. Ever since the bike was launched back in October last year, it has received over 1,000 booking for the Leoncino 500. Production has begun early January and will continue to do so to meet the high demand. (more…)

Motorcycles on the Federal Highway – “What choice do we have?”

A recent article posted by the Malay Mail has the author complaining about motorcyclists riding their bikes on the Federal Highway.

More bikes are taking the main carriageway as some parts of the dedicated bike lanes are closed for renovations.

While some do ride carelessly, it is not fair to label all bikers as ‘nuisances’ or ‘mat rempits‘.

In reference to a recent article published by the Malay Mail earlier today, the author clearly stated that more motorcyclists are taking their bikes onto the main carriageway and went on to blatantly label them as ‘nuisances’ and even ‘mat rempits’ (street hooligans). The biased article, which may be confusing for some especially other motorists, was written without considering the true story behind the event. (more…)

Honda and Forever 21 releases F21xHonda clothing line

Honda Powersports US has collaborated with Forever 21 in coming up with a brand new clothing line called the F21xHonda collection.

The motorsport-branded fashion items are based on the glory days of Honda racing back in the late 80s and 90s.

Although the partnership was unexpected, Honda is known for their amazing strategies in marketing campaigns dating back to the 1960s.

With fashion today rapidly growing into something that is getting mixed perceptions, there’s no doubt that it is one of the biggest businesses each and every year. So it comes as no surprise (well, maybe a bit surprised) when American Honda hooked up with Forever 21 to create a modern clothing line for today’s youths based on the late 80s and early 90s motorcycle scene called F21xHonda collection. MotoGP: Yonny Hernandez replaces Jonas Folger for Sepang winter test

Former Aspar MotoGP rider Yonny Hernandez will be stepping in for Jonas Folger to assist the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team during the Sepang winter test.

The 29 year old Columbian will showcase his skills for the very first time on board the Yamaha M1 MotoGP bike.

Hernandez is also said to be one of the riders shortlisted for the 2018 rider with the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 squad.

The Monster Yamaha Tech 3 team has announced that Yonny Hernandez will be replacing in for Jonas Folger this coming weekend at the Sepang winter test 2018. The 29 year old Columbian was selected for his vast experience on MotoGP machinery of over five years. (more…)

MotoGP: Movistar Yamaha launches 2018 Yamaha M1; Vinales stays until 2020

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP squad has revealed their latest 2018 Yamaha M1 race machines.

The 2018 bike is based on the chassis used back in 2016 with brand new parts planned for the Sepang winter test.

Maverick Vinales also announced that he will continue racing with Yamaha until the end of 2020.

The Movistar Yamaha MotoGP team has officially launched their 2018 Yamaha M1 race machines to compete in the upcoming MotoGP season. Revealed with a brand new blue and white livery, the 2018 Yamaha M1 looks new with a chassis based on their 2016 machine like the ones used by Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger from the Monster Yamaha Tech 3 last season. Kawasaki Road Safety Campaign organised at Sungai Besi Toll Plaza

Kawasaki Motors Malaysia (KMSB) has officially launched the Kawasaki Road Safety Campaign 2018 earlier today.

This is the third year running KMSB has organised it at the Sungai Besi Toll Plaza to increase awareness on road safety.

All motorcyclists can get their bikes checked absolutely free no matter type or brand.

The Pirelli Tyre Seminar returns to Passion Shop Malaysia for a more extensive look into the world of motorcycle tyres.

The intermediate level seminar focused more on types of tyre damages and what caused them.

Knowing the conditions of your tyres like uneven wears or external damages can help you determine the causes and how to remedy them effectively.

Triumph Motorcycles has released their latest 2018 Triumph Speed Triple teaser video.

Starring Carl Fogarty and Gary Johnson, the new Speed Triple is portrayed as the “ultimate hooligan”.

A brand new TFT screen is seen in the video and more details will be delivered during the launch on 29 January 2018.

PDRM receives 871 new Kawasaki Z250 & KLX250 for 2018

The Royal Malaysian Police (PDRM) has received 871 Kawasaki Z250 and KLX250 to further strengthen their URB patrol unit.

The handing-over ceremony was done yesterday at the General Operations Force (GOF) base near Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.

All of the Kawasaki KLX250 scramblers will assist in patrolling areas bordering Thailand which includes hilly areas and narrow roads.

The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) has received a total of 871 units of Kawasaki motorcycles to further strengthen their motorcycle patrol unit known as Unit Rondaan Bermotosikal (URB). These models consists of the Kawasaki Z250 and KLX250 scramblers. (more…)

1000cc 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R caught testing in Spain

The 2019 Ducati Panigale V4 R has been caught testing in Jerez together with the Ducati WorldSBK factory team.

Built for racing and comply with the new WorldSBK rules, the R version will run a 1,000cc V4 engine.

Expect the Panigale V4 R to be launched in July during the World Ducati Week 2018.
