Malaysia’s first Honda BigWing Centre launched in Setapak!

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has just launched Malaysia’s first Honda BigWing Centre in Setapak, Kuala Lumpur.

The all-new Honda big bike centre focuses on some of the best Honda models above 250cc.

The 2018 Honda X-ADV and Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin were previewed during the grand opening.

2019 BMW F 850 GS spy shot?

A spy shot of what seems to be the 2019 BMW F 850 GS dual-sport bike has been seen testing around.

Although the 2018 model was only recently launched back in November, the new one has a few differences.

Expect the updated model to be introduced later in the year.

It has been only around three months since BMW Motorrad launched the 2018 BMW F750 GS and BMW F 850 GS siblings during the EICMA motorcycle show in Milan, Italy. Although the bikes literally have not made their way to all markets around the world, it seems that an updated version is already in the works by the ever-progressive German manufacturer. (more…)

Indian Scout FTR1200 Custom will go into production?

Indian Motorcycle introduced the Indian Scout FTR1200 Custom flat tracker during EICMA 2017.

After positive feedbacks, it looks like Indian is possibly going to put the FTR1200 into production.

The FTR1200 Custom is based on the successful FTR750 flat tracker which won three races in the 2017 American Flat Track Series.

Indian Motorcycle is known for their strong presence especially in the world of flat track racing. Their Indian Scout FTR750 ridden by the infamous Wrecking Crew in the American Flat Track Series has inspired the birth of the Indian Scout FTR1200 Custom concept machine. (more…)

2017-2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000 recall on possible chain breakage

Suzuki Motors of America has issued a recall on the 2017 to 2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000 regarding a possible issue which can lead to the chain breaking.

3,097 units have been identified in the US through the NHTSA where the chain may break when shifting from first to second at high RPM.

The Engine Control Module (ECM), chain and sprockets will be inspected and replaced to remedy the situation.

Suzuki Motors of America, Inc. has issued a recall on their latest 2017 to 2018 models of the Suzuki GSX-R1000 on an issue that may result in the chain breaking or snapping when shifting during high RPM. The recall report was released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) where they’ve identified 3,097 units affected in the US market. (more…)

Harley-Davidson electric bike coming in 2019!

The first ever production Harley-Davidson electric bike will make its appearance as early as 2019.

Based on their successful LiveWire concept, the electric bike is just one bike out of 100 new models to be introduced in the brand’s 10-year plan.

The exciting news came together with announcement of drop in sales revenue at the end of 2017 and closure of their Kansas City plant.

It was just a few days ago when Harley-Davidson CEO Matthew Levatich announced that their first ever Harley-Davidson electric bike will go into production as soon as 2019. This exciting announcement came together with some not so exciting news related to the brand’s drop in net income at the end of 2017 together with the closure of their Kansas City factory. (more…)

Triumph bikes in the new Marvel’s Ant-Man movie?

The latest trailer for the new Marvel’s Ant-Man movie features a collaboration with Triumph Motorcycles.

A number of Triumph Thruxton R bikes can be seen in the trailer chasing after Ant-Man and his new sidekick, the Wasp.

The new Ant-Man movie will be released in July 2018.

Marvel Studios just released a trailer for the brand new Marvel’s Ant-Man movie. This time around, it’ll be Ant-Man and The Wasp kicking some super villain’s butt but with the addition of a brand new bike manufacturer thrown into the mix; Triumph Motorcycles. (more…)

Husqvarna joins in Brembo master cylinder recall

Husqvarna has joined the massive worldwide Brembo master cylinder recall.

Their popular PR16 radial master cylinder commonly used with Brembo M50 calipers are prone to breakage.

All Husqvarna FS 450 Supermoto models manufactured from 2015 to 208 are affected.

After KTM Malaysia has confirmed that their Super Duke models are due for a recall for their Brembo PR16 radial brake master cylinder, news broke out that Husqvarna is joining the recall happening worldwide. The major recall currently ongoing around the world revolves around the PR16 radial master cylinder popularly used with the Brembo M50 calipers. (more…)

MOTOGP: Hafizh Syahrin to ride for Monster Yamaha Tech 3?

The latest MotoGP rumour has pointed out to the possibility of Hafizh Syahrin moving up into the premier class to race for Monster Yamaha Tech 3.

As Jonas Folger sits out for the 2018 season, team boss Herve Poncharal has been scrambling to find his replacement.

Nothing has been confirmed just yet but Hafizh Syahrin is definitely in the possible candidate’s list to ride the Yamaha M1 this season.

The latest and probably most interesting MotoGP gossip has to be the one involving our very own national Moto2 rider, Hafizh Syahrin. Ever since MotoGP rider Jonas Folger of Monster Yamaha Tech 3 made the announcement of not racing in 2018 to recover from a rare genetic disease, a lot of rumours have pointed out to several possible candidates to fill in his seat. 2018 MotoGP Sepang Winter Test photo gallery

The 2018 MotoGP Sepang winter test saw Jorge Lorenzo from Ducati setting the fastest lap of 1:58.830.

Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda was close behind on his Honda RC213V with a 1:59.009.

Cal Crutchlow (LCR Honda CASTROL) completed the top three with a 1:59.052.

It has been an amazing three days of the 2018 MotoGP Sepang winter test where it started out gloomy in the pouring rain on Sunday but the weather gave way for the rest of the sessions. Riders young and old were setting some incredible lap times on their race machines but it was Ducati’s Jorge Lorenzo who stole the spotlight this time around. (more…)

Motonation fans took home Petron Miles Cards worth RM4,000!

Four lucky Motonation festival attendees collected their Petron Miles Card today filled with points worth RM,1000 each.

The Petron Miles Cards were just some of the lucky draw prizes given away during the Motonation event held last year at PICC.

Petron Malaysia also sponsored their premium fuels as well as 5,000 souvenirs during the three-day festival.

Four lucky fans who attended the Motonation event back in December last year got to take home Petron Miles card filled with points worth RM1,000 each. The prize-giving ceremony was done earlier today at the Petron Malaysia’s Headquarters located in Jalan Dungun, Bukit Damansara. (more…)

Second 2018 Triumph Speed Triple teaser released

Triumph Motorcycles has released a second 2018 Triumph Speed Triple teaser video.

The second clip showcased how powerful and nimble the bike can be under the control of Carl Fogarty and Gary Johnson.

The official unveiling will be on 5 February 2018.

It was just last week when Triumph Motorcycles released quite a spectacular teaser video on their upcoming 2018 Triumph Speed Triple. Starring in the video were none other than seven-time world superbikes champion Carl Fogarty and two-time Isle of Man TT winner, Gary Johnson. (more…)

2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000 MotoGP replica unveiled!

Suzuki has announced the 2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000 MotoGP replica bikes together with the Suzuki GSX-R1000R.

The launch was in conjunction with the launch of the new livery for their 2018 Suzuki GSX-RR MotoGP machines in Sepang.

The UK market will be able to get them at £13,599 (around RM74,281) and £16,099 (around RM87,937).

In conjunction with the recent unveiling of Suzuki’s latest MotoGP GSX-RR machine with new livery just a couple of days ago, the Japanese manufacturer also announced that their 2018 Suzuki GSX-R1000 and GSX-R1000R will be available in the MotoGP replica colours. (more…)
