2015 is a very special year for Suzuki as one of its most popular models – the GSX-R range, celebrates its 30th anniversary. Unveiled in 1975, the GSX-R was very successful in the racing scene, thanks to riders like the legendary Kevin Schwantz.

Thanks to all the success and fame in the MotoGP scene, the GSX-R gained a massive following worldwide. It is said that there are more than a million GSX-R owners at the moment in the world.

So, in order to celebrate this milestone event, Suzuki unveiled a 30th Anniversary edition of the GSX-R1000 superbike at the German MotoGP event last week. The main highlight about the special edition model is that it features the same paint scheme as the original 1985 750cc model.

The blue and white paintjob was also run in the weekend’s German MotoGP race on the factory racing bikes of Aleix Espargarò and Maverick Viñales. There are no mechanical changes to the bike but the new colours are a tribute to the original GSX-R750 machine that kick-started the now famous GSX-R name.

According to Suzuki, the bike will be a full production machine and will go on sale globally from November.

The Suzuki GS series was Suzuki Motor Corporation’s first full range of 4-stroke road bikes, launched in 1976 in 750cc guise; which then expanded to include smaller GS550, GS1000, GS125 and GS1200SS models over the years. However, it was the 750 and 1000cc models that drove development on the race track and led-to the development of a new breed of motorcycle; the GSX-R.

2015-Kawasaki-Ninja-300-Malaysia-003

Our team has managed to get more info about the availability of the 2015 Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Z300. Thoriq got these pictures at Kawasaki Motors Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Shah Alam. There is no official launch, so it seems that Kawasaki releasing bike quietly to dealers as we have seen in mudah sales page and also on lots of dealers facebook page.

Malaysian riders are confused about this (including me). How can Kawasaki releases two almost identical bike to the already popular Ninja 250(RM22,589) and Z250 (RM21,589)? The price difference is at RM4,000 for each of the bike category (eg: Z300 vs Z250).   (more…)

Kawasaki Ninja 300 and Z 300 twins spotted in Malaysia plus planned pricing details – RM26,989 and RM25,989 after GST.

Starting on pole position, Marquez lost out to Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Jorge Lorenzo at the start of the race and held second place for the first few laps, before passing Lorenzo on lap five and streaking away for his second win of the year. Underlining his scintillating pace at Sachsenring, Marquez set a new Circuit Lap Record of 1’21.530 on lap 10 and crossed the finish line in a race time of 41’01.087 – the shortest ever overall race time at Sachsenring, beating the old mark by over eleven seconds. On the other Repsol Honda Team RC213V, Pedrosa took a solid second place finishing 2.226 seconds behind Marquez, while Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Valentino Rossi took the final podium place a further three seconds behind. A nice tail tidy setup for 2015 Yamaha YZF-R25. As you notice, there is the integrated tail light. Integrated tail light is actually a one piece setup that integrates brake light and signal light. This means that you no longer need to use the ugly separated signal like the stock.

Price at RM350 and available at KHM Kian Huat, Padang Jawa. This is NOT a sponsored post. I share because I like the setup.
