WorldSBK 2018

  • Kawasaki Racing Team, atau singkatannya, KRT, dengan secara rasminya telah memperkenalkan jentera perlumbaan mereka bagi siri WorldSBK musim 2018, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR 2018.
  • Kedua-dua penunggang pasukan tersebut, Rea dan Sykes, akan mempertahankan kejuaraan dan kemenangan perlumbaan mereka di atas jentera dengan kemasan grafik yang serba baru.
  • Motosikal ZX-10RR telah merangkul begitu banyak kemenangan perlumbaan serta kejohanan sejak diambil alih oleh kumpulan yang bertapak dari Barcelona, Provec, pada tahun 2012.

The Kawasaki Racing Team or KRT has officially unveiled their WorldSBK 2018 challenger that is the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

Both Rea and Sykes are looking to defend their titles and race wins with brand new bikes and liveries.

The ZX-10RR has been gaining a lot of race wins and championships ever since Barcelona-based Provec outfit took over in 2012.

The Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) has officially launched their 2018 WorldSBK title challenger in the form of the super competitive 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.   • Pasukan Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team telah mengumumkan yang penunggang dari Amerika Syarikat, Jake Gagne, bakal menjadi penunggang kedua mereka.
  • Gagne telah menyertai beberapa perlumbaan tahun ini sebagai peserta ‘wildcard’ selepas kehilangan tragis seorang penungggang yang disayangi ramai, Nicky Hayden.
  • Jake Gagne akan bersaing bersama seorang lagi penunggang baru bagi pasukan Red Bull, Leon Camier.

The Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team has announced that their second rider will be 25-year-old American, Jake Gagne.

Gagne stepped in a few races in this year as wildcard entries after the tragic loss of beloved rider, Nicky Hayden.

Jake Gagne will be racing together with another new Red Bull Honda rider, Leon Camier.

After several wildcard entries for the factory Honda squad in last year’s WorldSBK season, Jake Gagne has finally got his opportunity to race full time. The 25 year old from California USA will be racing for the Red Bull Honda outfit together with double British Superbike Champion, Leon Camier. (more…)

 

  • Musim 2018 WorldSBK akan diperkemaskini dengan peraturan baru seperti membenarkan pasukan menggunakan ‘komponen aerodinamik’ pada motosikal perlumbaan mereka.
  • Namun ianya datang dengan syarat, iaitu sebarang komponen aerodinamik mestilah disediakan dahulu untuk motosikal yang telah dihomologasikan.
  • Dunia motosikal superbike pengeluaran pada tahun 2019 pasti akan menjadi lebih menarik sekiranya pasukan dalam siri WorldSBK mematuhi peraturan terbaru ini secara serius memandangkan betapa besarnya kelebihan ‘aerofairing’ ini terutamanya seperti yang boleh dilihat dalam MotoGP.

The WorldSBK 2018 season will be updated with new rules such as allowing teams to use ‘aerodynamic components’ on their race motorcycles.

There is a catch however as any of the aerodynamic components must first be made available to the homologated motorcycle.

The world of production superbikes in 2019 will be quite interesting if WorldSBK pick up this new ruling seriously considering how a big of an advantage ‘aerofairings’ can be especially seen in MotoGP.

The FIM World Superbike Championship has been introducing a lot of revolutionary changes and updates for 2018 to make the motorsport more exciting and appealing to fans around the world. Despite some setbacks laid out for some manufacturers such as limiting engine RPMs to make the field more evenly competitive, the Superbikes commission will now allow the use of ‘aerodynamic components’ come 2018.   • Ianya telah diumumkan pada awal hari semalam yang penunggang WorldSBK, Marco Melandri akan meneruskan lagi kerjaya perlumbaannya dengan pasukan Aruba.it Racing Ducati untuk satu musim lagi pada tahun 2018.
  • Penunggang berusia 35 tahun dari Itali itu telah membuktikan kemampuannya sebagai penunggang di atas jentera Ducati 1199 Panigale R dengan penamat di atas podium yang konsisten serta dengan satu kemenangan perlumbaan pada musim ini.
  • Melandri kini sedang menduduki tempat ke-empat pada tangga kejuaraan WorldSBK 2017 dengan 189 mata; hanya 37 mata di belakang teman sepasukannya, Chaz Davies.

It was announced earlier today that WorldSBK rider Marco Melandri will continue his racing efforts with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati outfit for yet another season in 2018.

The 35 year old Italian has proven himself to be quite a rider on board the Ducati 1199 Panigale R with consistent podium finishes and even a race win this season.

Melandri currently sits fourth in the 2017 WorldSBK championship standings with 189 points; just 37 points behind his team mate, Chaz Davies.

Good news from the world of WorldSBK! It seems that the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team has decided to continue with the legendary Italian rider Marco Melandri for yet another season. Melandri will stick with Chaz Davies for the 2018 Superbike World Championship. (more…)

  • Litar ini sudah separuh siap dan akan memohon untuk disahkan oleh FIM pada hujung tahun 2017

  • The brand new Vilicum Circuit will host its first ever WorldSBK race in 2018 located in the San Juan Province, Argentina

  • The track is halfway completed and will apply for homologation by FIM at the end of 2017

  • The 4.2km track has 19 corners in total; 11 lefts and eight rights

Looks like Argentina will be the 26th country to host the Superbike World Championship in 2018. If all goes well, the country will be the first venue to hold a WorldSBK racing series in South America. The new track dubbed the Vilicum Circuit is located in the San Juan province near the infamous Route 40, about 1,117km away from the capital city of Buenos Aires. (more…)

  • The Thailand government has set aside 300 million baht to bid for a place in the MotoGP calendar starting 2018

  • The proposal is planned to run for three years from 2018 to 2020

According to a recent article posted by the Bangkok Post, the Thailand government has allocated a cool 300 million baht with plans to host a MotoGP round as early as 2018. The proposal is not set in stone just yet but Thailand is planning to organise the world’s most exciting motorcycle race for three years from 2018 to 2020 at the Chang International Circuit. (more…)
