Tom Sykes and the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) WorldSBK have announced their split at the end of 2018.
Months of speculation and drama between Sykes and teammate Jonathan Rea have led to the decision.
Sykes has gathered 34 wins, 106 podiums, and one championship crown during his nine seasons with KRT.

After nine great seasons together in WorldSBK, Tom Sykes and the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) will be parting ways at the end of the 2018 season. WorldSBK: Jonathan Rea to stay with Kawasaki until 2020

Jonathan Rea has confirmed that he’ll be staying in WorldSBK until the end of the year 2020.
The 31-year-old Irish rider has signed a two-year deal with the Kawasaki Racing Team.
This contract renewal has also put a stop to the rumours about him making his move to MotoGP in 2019.

WorldSBK: Marco Melandri Merangkul Kemenangan Berganda Di Australia!

Pusingan pembukaan WorldSBK 2018 telah menyaksikan Marco Melandri merangkul kemenangan berganda dalam kedua-dua perlumbaan di Australia.
Melandri berjaya menangkis serangan kedua-dua penunggang pasukan Kawasaki Racing Team dalam Perlumbaan 1 dan Perlumbaan 2 untuk memenangi perlumbaan-perlumbaan tersebut.
Tom Sykes dan Chaz Davies melengkapkan podium dalam Perlumbaan 1 manakala Jonathan Rea bersama dengan Xavi Fores pula melengkapkan podium bagi Perlumbaan 2.

WorldSBK: Marco Melandri takes double win in Australia!

The first opening WorldSBK round of 2018 saw Marco Melandri took home a double win for both races in Australia.

Melandri managed to fend off both Kawasaki Racing Team riders in Race 1 and Race 2 for the wins.

Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies completed the podium in Race 1 whereas Jonathan Rea together with Xavi Fores completed Race 2.

Those who say that “old dogs can’t learn new tricks” obviously are not into the world of motorcycle racing as 35-year-old Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) won both races in the 2018 WorldSBK opening round at Phillip Island, Australia this past weekend. (more…)

WorldSBK: Musim 2018 Bermula Pada Hujung Minggu Ini Di Australia!

WorldSBK musim 2018 akan bermula pada hujung minggu ini dari 23 hingga 25 Februari 2018.
Pusingan pembukaan Yamaha Finance Australia telah secara rasminya dilancarkan di Litar Phillip Island Grand Prix.
Perlumbaan 1 akan bermula pada hari esok (Sabtu), dari jam 12 tengah hari waktu tempatan, dan Perlumbaan 2 pada hari Ahad pada waktu yang sama.

WorldSBK: 2018 season starts this weekend in Australia!

The 2018 WorldSBK season will begin this weekend from 23 to 25 February 2018.

The opening Yamaha Finance Australian round was officially launched at the Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit.

Race 1 will start at 12 pm local time tomorrow (Saturday) and Race 2 (Sunday) at the same time.

Get ready, folks. The 2018 WorldSBK season will begin this weekend and it promises to be one of the most interesting ones yet. The iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix circuit will play host to the Yamaha Finance Australian opening round where the superbike boys will duke it out once again. (more…)

WorldSBK: PATA Yamaha Lancarkan Yamaha YZF-R1 2018!

Pasukan PATA Yamaha Official WorldSBK telah memperkenalkan jentera perlumbaan mereka bagi musim ini, iaitu Yamaha YZF-R1 2018.
Pelancarannya itu telah dibuat sempena ujian pra musim WorldSBK yang berlangsung di Portimao, Portugal.
Kedua-dua penunggang utama pasukan tersebut, Alex Lowes dan Michael van der Mark telah bersedia untuk memberikan kemenangan perlumbaan yang pertama buat Yamaha sejak tahun 2011.

WorldSBK: PATA Yamaha launches 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1!

The PATA Yamaha Official WorldSBK team has unveiled their title challenger for this season that is the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1.

The unveiling was done in conjunction with the WorldSBK pre-season testing in Portimao, Portugal.

Both Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark are ready to bring Yamaha their first victory since 2011.

The WorldSBK scene just got more interesting with the launch of the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1 which is going to be used by the PATA Yamaha Official WorldSBK team. Together with coveted riders Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark, the duo is set to take the 2018 season by storm. (more…)

WorldSBK: Ducati Perkenalkan Jentera Perlumbaan Ducati Panigale V-Twin Terakhir!

Pasukan pengilang Ducati bagi siri perlumbaan WorldSBK telah menyingkap tirai di sebalik jentera perlumbaan Ducati Panigale V-Twin yang terkini serta terakhir bagi model berkenaan.
Jentera janaan enjin Superquadro L-Twin 1198cc akan beraksi buat kali terakhir pada musim ini bersama dengan penunggang utama mereka, Chaz Davies dan Marco Melandri.
Bermula pada tahun 2019, Ducati akan mula menggunakan jentera perlumbaan Ducati Panigale V4 R bagi mematuhi peraturan baru WorldSBK.

WorldSBK: Ducati unveils final Ducati Panigale V-Twin race bike!

The WorldSBK Ducati factory squad has pulled the covers off their latest and last Ducati Panigale V-Twin race bike.

The 1198cc Superquadro L-Twin powered machine will have its final hurrah together with star riders, Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri.

Beginning 2019, Ducati will be using the Ducati Panigale V4 R race bike to conform to the new rules of World Superbikes.

As the WorldSBK 2018 gets nearer, the folks over at Ducati has unveiled their final Ducati Panigale V-twin race bike that they’ll use to compete this year before moving on towards the Ducati Panigale V4 machinery beginning of 2019. (more…)
