WorldSBK: Tom Sykes is leaving Kawasaki

Tom Sykes and the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) WorldSBK have announced their split at the end of 2018.
Months of speculation and drama between Sykes and teammate Jonathan Rea have led to the decision.
Sykes has gathered 34 wins, 106 podiums, and one championship crown during his nine seasons with KRT.

After nine great seasons together in WorldSBK, Tom Sykes and the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) will be parting ways at the end of the 2018 season. After months of speculations and slightly hostile environment between Sykes and his teammate Jonathan Rea, the decision to leave wasn’t really a surprising one. (more…)

WorldSBK: Jonathan Rea to stay with Kawasaki until 2020

Jonathan Rea has confirmed that he’ll be staying in WorldSBK until the end of the year 2020.
The 31-year-old Irish rider has signed a two-year deal with the Kawasaki Racing Team.
This contract renewal has also put a stop to the rumours about him making his move to MotoGP in 2019.

WorldSBK: Marco Melandri Merangkul Kemenangan Berganda Di Australia!

Pusingan pembukaan WorldSBK 2018 telah menyaksikan Marco Melandri merangkul kemenangan berganda dalam kedua-dua perlumbaan di Australia.
Melandri berjaya menangkis serangan kedua-dua penunggang pasukan Kawasaki Racing Team dalam Perlumbaan 1 dan Perlumbaan 2 untuk memenangi perlumbaan-perlumbaan tersebut.
Tom Sykes dan Chaz Davies melengkapkan podium dalam Perlumbaan 1 manakala Jonathan Rea bersama dengan Xavi Fores pula melengkapkan podium bagi Perlumbaan 2.

WorldSBK: Marco Melandri takes double win in Australia!

The first opening WorldSBK round of 2018 saw Marco Melandri took home a double win for both races in Australia.

Melandri managed to fend off both Kawasaki Racing Team riders in Race 1 and Race 2 for the wins.

Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies completed the podium in Race 1 whereas Jonathan Rea together with Xavi Fores completed Race 2.

Those who say that “old dogs can’t learn new tricks” obviously are not into the world of motorcycle racing as 35-year-old Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) won both races in the 2018 WorldSBK opening round at Phillip Island, Australia this past weekend. (more…)

WorldSBK: KRT Lancarkan Jentera Perlumbaan Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR 2018!

Kawasaki Racing Team, atau singkatannya, KRT, dengan secara rasminya telah memperkenalkan jentera perlumbaan mereka bagi siri WorldSBK musim 2018, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR 2018.
Kedua-dua penunggang pasukan tersebut, Rea dan Sykes, akan mempertahankan kejuaraan dan kemenangan perlumbaan mereka di atas jentera dengan kemasan grafik yang serba baru.
Motosikal ZX-10RR telah merangkul begitu banyak kemenangan perlumbaan serta kejohanan sejak diambil alih oleh kumpulan yang bertapak dari Barcelona, Provec, pada tahun 2012.

WORLDSBK: KRT launches 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR title challenger!

The Kawasaki Racing Team or KRT has officially unveiled their WorldSBK 2018 challenger that is the 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

Both Rea and Sykes are looking to defend their titles and race wins with brand new bikes and liveries.

The ZX-10RR has been gaining a lot of race wins and championships ever since Barcelona-based Provec outfit took over in 2012.

The Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) has officially launched their 2018 WorldSBK title challenger in the form of the super competitive 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR. The unveiling by KRT was held at the KRT headquarters located near Barcelona together with their star riders, Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes. (more…)

WorldSBK: Jonathan Rea Inginkan Jentera Pengilang MotoGP?

Desas-desus mengenai juara WorldSBK, Jonathan Rea, berpindah ke MotoGP telah timbul sekali lagi.
Selepas memenangi kejuaraan buat kali ketiga berturut-turut bersama pasukan Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT), Rea bakal meneruskan kerjaya WorldSBK-nya sehingga hujung tahun 2018.
Rea mengatakan bahawa dia hanya akan berpindah sekiranya ada kekosongan dalam pasukan pengilang MotoGP.

WorldSBK: Jonathan Rea wants factory MotoGP bike?

Talks regarding WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea moving to MotoGP has risen once again.

After winning his third consecutive title with the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT), Rea will continue his WorldSBK efforts towards the end of 2018.

Rea stated that he will only make the move if there’s a vacancy in a factory MotoGP team.

After winning his third consecutive WorldSBK title in the FIM Superbike World Championship, a lot of folks have been arguing on why the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) star rider Jonathan Rea still has not made his move towards a more challenging racing series that is MotoGP. (more…)

Saksikanlah Dokumentari Jonathan Rea “3 in a Row”!

Sebuah dokumentari berdurasi 45 minit mengenai hidup Jonathan Rea dan bagaimana dia menggondoli tiga takhta WorldSBK telah ditayangkan oleh BBC.
Klip berkenaan mempamerkan bagaimana penunggang berusia 30 tahun itu berjaya mencapai kejayaan tersebut dan pada masa yang sama menjaga keluarganya sewaktu sedang menjelajah dan di antara pusingan perlumbaan.
Rea adalah satu-satunya penunggang WorldSBK setakat ini yang telah memenangi kejohanan WorldSBK sebanyak tiga kali berturut-turut.

Check out Jonathan Rea’s documentary “3 in a Row”!

A 45-minute documentary showing the life of Jonathan Rea on how he won three WorldSBK titles was released by BBC.

The clip showcases how the 30 year old has managed to do so while taking care of his family on the road and in between rounds.

Rea is the only WorldSBK rider so far to have won three WorldSBK championships in a row.

BBC has just released a 45-minute documentary on the 2017 WorldSBK World Champion, Jonathan Rea. Dubbed “3 in a Row”, the clip shows how the 30 year old from Northern Ireland managed to win three FIM Superbike World Championships in a row while maintaining his status as a loyal husband and caring father of two lovely children. Motosikal Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR WorldSBK Lebih Pantas Daripada Motosikal MotoGP?

Jonathan Rea yang menunggang jentera Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR WorldSBK 2018-nya itu telah menetapkan catatan masa terpantas pada sesi ujian hari Jumaat di Jerez, Sepanyol pada minggu lalu.
Juara WorldSBK tiga kali itu lebih pantas daripada ke lapan-lapan orang penunggang MotoGP yang lain yang telah mengadakan ujian jentera masing-masing pada hari Jumaat itu.
Sesi ujian empat hari itu berkesudahan dengan Rea mencatat masa keempat terpantas yang hanya 0.323 saat di belakang Andrea Dovizioso yang menunggang jentera Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP-nya.

WorldSBK Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR is faster than MotoGP bikes?

Jonathan Rea and his 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR set the fastest time in Friday’s testing session in Jerez, Spain last week.

The three-time WorldSBK champion was faster than all eight other MotoGP riders who were testing their machines on Friday as well.

The four-day testing session concluded with Rea as the fourth fastest which was only 0.323 seconds slower than Andrea Dovizioso and his Ducati Desmosedici MotoGP bike.

It was only last week when the Jerez circuit was full of action from both the MotoGP and WorldSBK teams testing out their latest machines for the 2018 season. The last day of the testing sessions concluded last Friday and the results are quite astonishing. Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) and his factory Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR set the fast time at 1:37.986. (more…)
