Is Hafizh Syahrin really the first Malaysian MotoGP rider?

Some folks have been asking about Hafizh Syahrin being the first Malaysian MotoGP rider.

After the MotoGP Thai test, it can be safely said that Hafizh is the first Malaysian to ride a modern-day 1,000cc MotoGP bike.

The final confirmation will come from Monster Yamaha Tech3 on whether Hafizh Syahrin will become the first Malaysian MotoGP rider to race in the premier class this season.

It has been quite an amazing week for all Malaysians as Hafizh Syahrin was selected to join the MotoGP pre-season testing at the Buriram International Circuit. Riding the Yamaha M1 for the Monster Yamaha Tech3 squad, Hafizh Syahrin ultimately became the first ever South East Asian rider to ride a proper 1,000cc modern day MotoGP bike. (more…)

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) telah menetapkan catatan masa yang terpantas di Litar Antarabangsa Buriram sewaktu sesi ujian tiga hari MotoGP di Thailand.
Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech3) tidak ketinggalan jauh di atas jentera Yamaha M1-nya.
Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) menduduki tangga ketiga setelah menyempurnakan lebih daripada 300 pusingan di Litar Antarabangsa Buriram.

Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) set the fastest lap ever around Buriram during the three-day MotoGP Thai test.

Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech3) was not too far off on board his developed Yamaha M1.

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) settled for third after having completed over 300 laps around the Buriram International Circuit.

After the concluding their first ever maiden MotoGP pre-season testing in Thailand, the entire MotoGP field are now well aware of the what the Buriram International Circuit has to offer. The rider that gained the most advantage was none other than Dani Pedrosa of Repsol Honda. (more…)

MotoGP: Marquez Tetapkan Masa Terpantas Di Buriram pada Hari 2

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) telah menyambut hari lahirnya yang ke-25 dengan penuh bergaya sekali semalam dengan mencipta rekod catatan masa terpantas di Buriram.
Dani Pedrosa tidak jauh ketinggalan di belakang, berada di kedudukan P2 dengan catatan masa 1:30.127.
Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing) terus mengagumkan semua orang dengan mencatatkan masa pusingan ketiga terpantas pada hari tersebut di atas jentera Ducatinya.

MotoGP: Marquez sets fastest lap yet in Buriram on Day 2

Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) celebrated his 25^th birthday with style yesterday after setting the fastest ever lap time in Buriram.

Dani Pedrosa was not too far behind sitting at P2 with a 1:30.127.

Jack Miller (Alma Pramac Racing) continues to impress everyone by setting the third fastest lap of the day with his Ducati.

The second day of the MotoGP 2018 pre-season test in Buriram saw a mixture of results but the boys from Repsol Honda sealed the deal by setting the fastest times of the day. Marc Marquez celebrated his 25^th birthday in style by being the first rider ever to lap the Buriram International Circuit below 1 minute 30 seconds at 1:29.969. (more…)

MotoGP: Hafizh Syahrin Akan Menunggang Bagi Pasukan Monster Yamaha Tech 3?

Khabar angin MotoGP terbaru telah menuding kepada kemungkinan Hafizh Syahrin akan mengorak langkah ke kelas premier untuk berlumba dengan pasukan Monster Yamaha Tech 3.
Oleh kerana Jonas Folger terpaksa berehat bagi musim 2018, pengurus pasukan Herve Poncharal telah sibuk mencari penggantinya.
Tiada apa yang telah disahkan lagi buat masa ini tetapi nama Hafizh Syahrin sudah pasti berada dalam senarai calon bagi mengemudi Yamaha M1 pada musim ini.

MOTOGP: Hafizh Syahrin to ride for Monster Yamaha Tech 3?

The latest MotoGP rumour has pointed out to the possibility of Hafizh Syahrin moving up into the premier class to race for Monster Yamaha Tech 3.

As Jonas Folger sits out for the 2018 season, team boss Herve Poncharal has been scrambling to find his replacement.

Nothing has been confirmed just yet but Hafizh Syahrin is definitely in the possible candidate’s list to ride the Yamaha M1 this season.

The latest and probably most interesting MotoGP gossip has to be the one involving our very own national Moto2 rider, Hafizh Syahrin. Ever since MotoGP rider Jonas Folger of Monster Yamaha Tech 3 made the announcement of not racing in 2018 to recover from a rare genetic disease, a lot of rumours have pointed out to several possible candidates to fill in his seat. Melihat kembali pada musim MotoGP 2017, Johann Zarco mengungguli senarai kami sebagai ‘Penunggang Terbaik Tahun 2017’.
Setelah memenangi 2 kejuaraan Moto2 secara berturut-turut, penunggang muda kelahiran Perancis itu telah berpindah ke kelas MotoGP sebagai seorang penunggang rookie, tetapi, telah menunggang seperti seorang penunggang amat berpengalaman yang sedang mengejar takhta kejohanan.
Secara keseluruhannya, dia telah menamatkan musim itu dengan tiga penamat di atas podium, 174 mata, dan gelaran “MotoGP 2017 Rookie of the Year”.

BR’s Rider of the Year 2017: Johann Zarco

Looking back at the 2017 MotoGP season, Johann Zarco topped our list for ‘Rider of the Year’.

After winning two Moto2 titles back to back, the young Frenchman moved up to MotoGP as a rookie but rode like a seasoned veteran chasing the championship.

All in all, he finished the season with three podiums, 174 points and the title “MotoGP 2017 Rookie of the Year”.

The 2017 MotoGP season has been nothing but breathtaking ever since the very beginning where the season started off under the floodlights of Qatar. Apart from a few monumental shifts in the series such as the great Jorge Lorenzo converting over to the scarlet red Ducati team and Maverick Vinales taking his place in Movistar Yamaha, there were a few more unexpected surprises thrown into the mix. Perlumbaan yang penuh dengan debaran itu menyaksikan Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) menggondol kemenangan diekori rapat oleh Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) yang mendapat tempat ke-dua.
Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) hilang kawalan jentera Ducati Desmosedici GP17-nya sewaktu perlumbaan itu berbaki enam pusingan yang mana ianya telah menamatkan usaha kejuaraan 2017-nya.

MotoGP: Marc Marquez is crowned 2017 MotoGP World Champion!

The final MotoGP 2017 round in Valencia concluded with Marc Marquez being crowned the 2017 MotoGP World Champion!

After a breath-taking race, Dani Pedrosa (Repsol Honda) took the win with Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) close behind in second.

Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team) lost control of his Ducati Desmosedici GP17 with six laps remaining which ended his 2017 title effort.

No one could’ve predicted how the last race would’ve unfolded. From the moment the red lights went off up until the very end when the chequered flag was waved, the final MotoGP race of 2017 in Valencia presented us with so much drama, stress and excitement. (more…)

MotoGP: Dovizioso Melanjutkan Pertarungan Untuk Kejohanan Ke Pusingan Terakhir Dengan Kemenangannya Di Sepang

Pusingan kedua terakhir MotoGP bagi musim 2017 di Sepang menyaksikan satu pertarungan di atas litar yang basah di mana kedua-dua penunggang Ducati, Andrea Dovizioso dan Jorge Lorenzo meraikan kemenangan satu-dua.
Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) melengkapkan kedudukan podium dengan Marc Marquez menamatkan perlumbaannya di tempat ke-empat.
Dovizioso dan Marquez bakal bertarung untuk menentukan kejuaraan MotoGP 2017 di pusingan terakhir dalam masa dua minggu di Valencia.
