Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin declared UNFIT to race this weekend

After suffering what was explained as the worst crash of his life last weekend, Malaysian Moto2 rider, Hafizh Syahrin, won’t be able to compete in this weekend’s Styrian GP as he was declared unfit to compete by Dorna’s medical officials.

The horrific incident last week saw the Openbank Aspar Team rider colliding with Enea Bastianini’s downed bike which sent him flying before the race was red-flagged. As bad as the crash may look like on television, Hafizh Syahrin was conscious throughout and even better, no news of any broken bones or fractures.

Unfortunately, the crash led to severe pains and bruising, especially on his right side. During yesterday’s physical examination by Dorna’s medical professionals, Hafizh Syahrin was deemed unfit to race due to his physical conditions.

The young Malaysian Moto2 rider will then focus on recovering as much as he can before the next round in Misano, Italy in the middle of September. For this weekend’s Styrian GP, Aspar Team’s MotoE rider, Alejandro Medina, will be taking over Hafizh’s racing role in Moto2. Get well soon, Pescao!

APPROVED! Hafizh Syahrin gets KBS funding for 2020

The Youth and Sports Ministry of Malaysia (KBS) has finally approved the funding for our country’s Moto2 rider, Hafizh Syahrin. After getting a lifeline to continue racing with the Angel Nieto Team in the intermediate class, the young Malaysian was scrambling all over to find funding and sponsorships to chase his dream of racing in the world championship. Hafizh Syahrin continues to improve pace in Qatar Test

The Moto2 and Moto3 teams and riders are currently in Qatar for the final pre-season testing sessions at the Losail International Circuit. Looking at our very own two-wheels motorsports hero, Hafizh Syahrin, the young Malaysian lad continues to improve his pace on board the 765cc Triumph-powered Moto2 machine provided by the Angel Nieto squad (Aspar Team). Hafizh Syahrin gets ‘support’ from Primavalet

Hafizh Syahrin gets some much-needed support from one of Malaysia’s leading fashion brand, Primavalet. The newly signed partnership was made official earlier this afternoon between Primavalet and Malaysia’s first-ever MotoGP premier class rider.
