Top reasons why the Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 was AWESOME

The Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 saw a huge crowd turnout to show their support, love and dedication to Malaysia’s home-grown ‘Ol-Skool’ and ‘Kustom Kulture’ scene.

This year’s event that happened the past weekend was bigger than ever with much participation from big manufacturers to small garages to showcase their amazing machines from brand new motorcycles to the super rare transportations.

A lot of special invited guests made their way to AOS 2017 from countries like Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, US, Japan and many more.

The custom scene for anything with wheels like motorcycles, cars, bicycles or even skateboards has been growing rapidly. Once a small scale section in this ever-growing motoring industry, one particular gathering has gained massive following and attention not just from Malaysians but other countries as well. We are of course talking about the annual Art of Speed Malaysia ‘Ol-Skool’ and ‘Kustom Kulture’ festival. (more…)

Honda Rebel 500 2017 Dilancarkan Secara Rasmi Di Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 – RM31,798!

Boon Siew Honda dengan rasminya telah mengumumkan bahawa motosikal terkini mereka, Honda Rebel 500 2017, akan tersedia sebagai sebahagian daripada rangkaian motosikal ‘gayahidup’ di Malaysia.
Pengumuman rasmi ini telah dibuat semalam bersempena dengan festival Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 yang berlangsung di Malaysia Agro Exposition Parks Serdang (MAEPS).
Motosikal serba baru Rebel 500 “Bobber” ini ditetapkan harganya pada RM31,798.94 (asas beserta GST) bagi varian dwi-saluran ABS.

2017 Honda Rebel 500 officially launched at Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 – RM31,798!

Boon Siew Honda has officially announced that their latest 2017 Honda Rebel 500 will finally be available as part of the ‘lifestyle’ motorcycle range here in Malaysia.

The official announcement was made earlier today in conjunction with the Art of Speed Malaysia 2017 festival held at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS).

The all-new Rebel 500 “Bobber” is priced at RM31,798.94 (basic price with GST) for the dual-channel ABS variant.

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) baru sahaja melancarkan versi yang dikemaskini motosikal Honda CBR650F dan Honda CB650F 2017 mereka dengan beberapa kemaskini dalaman serta luaran.

Sejarah Boon Siew Honda – Bagaimana Ianya Bermula

Sejarah Boon Siew Honda bermula sejak tahun 1950-an apabila seorang lelaki berusia 43 tahun dari Pulau Pinang telah pergi bercuti ke Jepun dan telah ternampak motosikal Honda Cub.
Mendiang Tan Sri Dato Loh Boon Siew memutuskan untuk membawa balik beberapa model ke Malaysia bagi membantu negara mencari mod pengangkutan yang sesuai dalam usaha membangunkan semula negara selepas Perang Dunia II.
Bersama dengan Soichiro Honda, Boon Siew Honda berjaya menjadikan motosikal Honda sebagai sebutan ramai menjelang tahun 1970-an apabila mereka memperkenalkan Honda C70 yang amat popular.

History of Boon Siew Honda – How it all began

The history of Boon Siew Honda started way back in the 1950s when a 43 year old man from Penang went for a vacation to Japan set his eyes on the Honda Cub motorcycles.

The late Tan Sri Dato Loh Boon Siew decided to ship some model back to Malaysia to help Malaysia find the right mode of transportation to rebuild the nation after World War II.

Together with Soichiro Honda himself, Boon Siew Honda managed to turn the Honda motorcycles into household names by the 1970s when they introduced the very popular Honda C70 and the rest is history.

It was sometime back in 1958 when a 43 year old man from Penang made his way to Japan and saw something that would change his life as well as the Malaysian motorcycle industry forever. At the time, the late Tan Sri Dato Loh Boon Siew witnessed a Honda motorcycle that struck his very core with its beauty as well as practicality and being the natural businessman that he was, he decided to ship over a few Honda cubs over to Malaysia to test the waters. Boon Siew Honda introduces upgraded 2017 Honda CBR650F & CB650F – From RM44,995

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has just released and upgraded versions of their 2017 Honda CBR650F and Honda CB650F with a bunch of internal and external upgrades.

The new 650F range now comes with a reworked engine with more power and torque as well as upgraded suspension, brake and lighting systems.

The upgraded 2017 Honda CBR650F and CB650F are priced at RM47,117.94 and RM44,995.94 respectively (basic prices with GST).

Satu HATI Honda Team Asia sudah bersedia untuk perlumban ketahanan Suzuka 8 Hours – (dari kiri ke kanan) Zaqhwan Zaidi, Dimas Ekky Pratama, Ratthapong Wilairot, dan Makoto Tamada

Boon Siew Honda Motorsports Team telah dipilih sebagai pasukan Malaysia pertama yang akan mengendalikan Satu HATI Honda Team Asia bagi perlumbaan kali ke-40 Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance.
Pengurus Pasukan Boon Siew Honda Motorsports, Zulhelmi bin Ahmad bersama dengan pasukan mekaniknya akan menjadi pasukan Malaysia yang pertama yang bukan sahaja menyokong malah mengetuai pasukan Satu HATI Honda Team Asia di Suzuka pada tahun ini.

Boon Siew Honda gets Satu HATI Honda Team Asia ready for Suzuka 8 Hours Race

The Boon Siew Honda Motorsports Team has been selected as the first ever Malaysian outfit to handle the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia for the 40^th Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance race.

Boon Siew Honda Motorsports Team Manager, Zulhelmi bin Ahmad together with his mechanic team will be the first ever Malaysian team to not only support but lead the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia in Suzuka this year.

This year, Malaysian rider Zaqhwan Zaidi together with Indonesian Dimas Ekky Pramata and Thai ARRC rider Ratthapong Wilairot will give their all to emerge as victors in the endurance race.

The BSH Motorsport team prepare the shine at the international stage.

A new milestone has been reached by Boon Siew Honda Motorsports team as they are set to become the first ever Malaysian outfit to official get the Satu HATI Honda Team Asia ready for the 40^th Coca Cola Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Race which will be held this weekend. (more…)

Honda Akan Menganjurkan Konvoi Honda Asian Journey Ke-Dua Merentasi Semenanjung Malaysia

Selepas kejayaan perjalanan Honda Asian Journey yang julung kalinya diadakan pada tahun lalu dari Thailand ke Litar Antarabangsa Sepang, Honda telah mengumumkan bahawa akan adanya konvoi buat kali ke-dua dirancang untuk tahun 2017.
Perjalanan tahun ini akan memberikan para peserta peluang untuk menguji beberapa motosikal berprestasi tinggi Honda seperti model CB500, CBR1000RR, Africa Twin, Goldwing dan sebagainya.
Honda Asian Journey 2017 sepanjang empat hari ini akan bermula dari 26 Oktober hingga 29 Oktober 2017 di mana para peserta akan menunggang dari Melaka hinggalah ke Genting Highlands sebelum turun kembali menuju ke Litar Antarabangsa Sepang untuk Pusingan MotoGP Malaysia.

Warna baru bagi Supercub Honda RS150R?

Ketika pusingan terbaru Cub Prix Malaysia yang berlangsung pada hujung minggu lalu di MAEPS, Serdang, ruangan pameran Boon Siew Honda telah
mempamerkan beberapa buah motosikal supercub Honda RS150R yang amat istimewa.
Sepasang motosikal Honda RS150R telah diperagakan pada petang Ahad menggayakan warna yang amat berbeza dan unik sekali, Hitam dan Putih dengan sedikit warna Merah dan Biru.
Kakitangan BSH menyatakan bahawa warna ini masih lagi dalam tahap konsep buat masa ini namun akan boleh didapati pada masa hadapan jika ke semua maklumbalas dan kaji selidik mendapat reaksi positif (yang kami rasa ianya sudah pasti).

New colour for the Honda RS150R supercub?

During the latest Malaysian Cub Prix round held last weekend at MAEPS Serdang, the Boon Siew Honda booth displayed a couple of very special Honda RS150R supercubs.

The pair of Honda RS150R was brought in on Sunday afternoon sporting a very different and unique colourway, Black and White with Red and Blue accents.

BSH officials stated that the colour is still a concept for now but will be available soon if all the surveys and feedbacks are positive (which we think it will be).

During the latest Malaysian Cub Prix round which was held last weekend at the Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS) located just a stone throw away from Putrajaya, a lot of folks head over to the makeshift road circuit to witness some young talents ripping through the track with their race machines.
