Some spy shots of the 2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R have made their way onto the Internet.

Apart from a few styling cue updates, the new 2019 model can be seen sporting a reworked chassis and exhaust system.

Expect the new 2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke R to be launched at the end of the year during EICMA.

HJC Helmets has unveiled two brand new 2018 HJC CL-17 Hulk and CL-17 Punisher II helmets.

The Hulk design is a brand new addition whereas the Punisher has been refreshed with a new design.

The CL-17 Hulk and Punisher II are priced at $199.99 each (around RM784) for the US market.

Dainese has unveiled their latest Speed Leather range called the Dainese Settantadue of “72”.

Three leather jackets are offered which comprises of their history in producing leather suits from the 1970s and combining them with the latest technology.

The Freccia 72, Toga 72, and Rapida 72 are priced from £449.95 to £529.95(RM2,426 to RM2,856) for the UK market.

Marc VDS is currently caught in choosing between Yamaha and Suzuki as the main machinery for their 2019 MotoGP season.

The move has been sparked by Tech 3 who has confirmed their switch to KTM next season.

Both Yamaha and Suzuki are looking into running satellite teams to speed up their bikes’ development.

It was only last month when MotoGP Tech 3 team announced their switch of machinery from Yamaha to KTM for the year 2019. This monumental shift in the grid has caused quite a stir and it looks like it’s the beginning of many more changes to come. (more…)

It was recently announced that John McGuinness is out of this year’s Isle of Man TT races.

Mugen announced that the King of the Mountain re-fractured his right leg after 14 months of recovery.

Their Mugen Shinden Nana electric race bike will be piloted by Michael Rutter and Lee Johnston.

It’s not easy for an accomplished rider such as John McGuinness to sit on the sidelines watching other racers ride their race bikes. Having broken his right leg last year, the King of the Mountain took over 14 months just to get healthy enough to be declared fit to race BUT the gods of racing have ruled him out of contention once again. Only 1,500 units will be made available around the world.

Remember last year’s MotoGP round in Austria? It was the 11th round of the season where Jorge Lorenzo performed brilliantly throughout the race leading the first 11 laps before crossing the chequered flag in fourth.
