WorldSBK: Chaz Davies sustains ‘Fractured Vertebrae’ in Misano Race 1 Collision

During the first race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round in Misano, the intense race concluded with Tom Sykes, Alex Lowes and Jonathan Rea crossing the finish line.

During the final lap, Chaz Davies, Jonathan Rea and Marco Melandri who were leading the race before Melandri crashed out halfway through the lap.

Davies suffered the same front tyre wash out but Rea wasn’t able to avoid him and ran over the 30 year old Brit with his Kawasaki ZX-10RR.

During the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round which ran its course at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”, it was a weekend filled with drama and action for the race series that’s probably one the climatic points in the Superbike World Championship races. (more…)

WorldSBK: Melandri scores 100th Italian win in Misano, Kawasaki Double Podium again

The second WorldSBK race in Misano saw an amazing first race victory for Marco Melandri (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati) since 2014 in front of his home crowd.

Starting from tenth, Melandri picked up his pace to cross the finish line first ahead of Kawasaki riders, Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes.

Chaz Davies was deemed unfit to compete in Race 2 due to extensive injuries sustained in the unfortunate Race 1 incident between him and Rea while fighting for the win.

It was a fairytale comeback for the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati rider Marco Melandri as he snatched his first ever WorldSBK victory since 2014. The victory was sweeter due to the fact that it was Melandri’s home race in front of his home fans at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” for the second race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round yesterday. WorldSBK: Tom Sykes wins dramatic Race 1 in Misano

The first race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” saw Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) crossing the line in first place in the final lap drama.

All three front runners who are Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) and Marco Melandri crashed out in the final lap of the race.

Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team) secured second followed by Rea who managed to salvage the final podium spot after the huge collision with Davies.

It was an epic win for Kawasaki Racing Team rider Tom Sykes who miraculously crossed the finished line in first place during the first race of the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. It was an amazing win considering that he was in fourth at the beginning of the final lap with a significant gap between Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team), Chaz Davies and his Aruba.it Racing Ducati team mate, Marco Melandri. Kawasaki Mencipta Sejarah Dengan Kemenangan Ke-100 Di WorldSBK Menggunakan Jentera Ninja ZX-10RR

Kawasaki telah mencapai salah satu penanda aras yang terbesar pada pusingan terkini untuk siri WorldSBK di mana mereka telah mencapai kemenangan ke-100 keseluruhannya dalam siri perlumbaan itu.
Kedua-dua penunggang untuk Kawasaki Racing Team, Jonathan Rea dan Ton Sykes menyumbang kepada kemenangan yang ke-100 itu di litar Donington Park di mana mereka telah memonopoli kedua-dua Perlumbaan 1 dan juga Perlumbaan 2.
Pencapaian ini telah dicapai menggunakan senjata litar terulung dari Kawasaki, Kawasaki ZX-10RR yang cukup cemerlang.

Alpinestars Tech-Air Memenangi Anugerah Inovasi Tertinggi CES Asia 2017

Alpinestars Tech-Air telah diberi kehormatan dengan anugerah dalam kategori ‘Wearables’ pada Anugerah Inovasi Asia di Pertunjukan Elektronik Pengguna (Consumer Electronics Show) pada tahun ini.
Pakar kelengkapan menunggang motosikal itu merupakan calon pendahulu untuk anugerah itu di Shanghai, China pada minggu lalu di mana mereka memenanginya untuk produk inovatif mereka.
Terdapat dua versi yang berbeza untuk sistem Tech-Air™ mereka itu; Tech-Air™ Street yang dikeluarkan pada tahun 2014 dan Tech-Air™ Race pada tahun 2016.

Kawasaki creates History with 100 Wins in WorldSBK on board the Ninja ZX-10RR

Kawasaki achieved one of the biggest milestones in the last round of WorldSBK where they scored a total of 100 wins in the racing series.

Both Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes from the Kawasaki Racing Team contributed to the 100^th win at Donington Park where they dominated Race 1 and Race 2.

The feat was done on board Kawasaki’s ultimate track weapon, the outstanding Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

During the last WorldSBK round at Donington Park during the sixth PATA UK Round, the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) created history by achieving their 100^th win the Superbikes World Championship. The historic moment in history was achieved thanks to two of their most successful riders, Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea on board the amazing Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR. (more…)

Alpinestars Tech-Air wins 2017 CES Asia Top Innovation Award

Alpinestars Tech-Air has been honoured with an award for best ‘Wearables’ category in this year’s Consumer Electronics Show Asia Innovations Awards.

The motorcycle riding gear expert was the best nominee for the award in Shanghai, China last week where they came out on top for their innovative product.

There are two distinct versions of the Tech-Air™ systems; Tech-Air™ Street which was released back in 2014 and Tech-Air™ Race in 2016.

One of the pioneers of active airbag technology for motorcycle racing suits and safety gear has been awarded at the Consumer Electronics Show Asia Innovations Awards earlier this week. Sah: Thailand Akan Menganjurkan MotoGP Pada 2018!

Thailand telah mengesahkan yang mereka akan mula menganjurkan perlumbaan MotoGP untuk tiga tahun bermula pada 2018.
Perjanjian ini telah dimeterai antara Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) dan Dorna hujung minggu lalu semasa satu perjumpaan di Itali.
Pusingan MotoGP Thai akan diadakan dari 5 hingga 7 Oktober 2018.

CONFIRMED: Thailand will host MotoGP in 2018

Thailand has confirmed that they will start hosting the MotoGP race for three years beginning in 2018.

The deal was finalised between the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Dorna last weekend during a meeting in Italy.

The MotoGP Thai Round will run its course from 5 to 7 October 2018.

According to a report made by the Bangkok Post, the Sports Authority of Thailand (SAT) and Dorna has come to an agreement which will see Thailand hosting the MotoGP race for three years beginning in 2018. Both parties finally struck the deal the past weekend back in Italy. (more…)

WorldSBK: Kawasaki Takluki Donington Park Dengan Kemenangan Ke-100

Pusingan keenam dalam siri perlumbaan WorldSBK musim ini berlangsung di Donington Park hujung minggu lalu menyaksikan Tom Sykes dan Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) mendominasi kedua-dua perlumbaan, menyumbang kepada kemenangan yang ke-100 dalam kejohanan ini bagi pasukan itu.
Tom Sykes memenangi Perlumbaan 1 diikuti oleh Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) di tempat kedua dan Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Racing) di tempat ketiga.
Jonathan Rea bertarung dengan hebat sekali di Perlumbaan 2 dan memenanginya diikuti oleh Tom Sykes dan Chaz Davies.

WorldSBK: Kawasaki conquers Donington Park with 100th Win

The sixth round of the WorldSBK race held in Donington Park last weekend saw Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) dominated both races contributing to the team’s 100^th win in the championship.

Tom Sykes won Race 1 with Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) in second followed by Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Racing) in third.

Jonathan Rea made an amazing comeback in Race 2 with the win followed by Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies.

It was a clear and landslide victory for both the Kawasaki Racing Team riders this past race weekend during the UK Round of the WorldSBK race held at the legendary Donington Park. After an interesting outcome from Race 1 which saw two of the top podium contenders crashing out, it was Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) aka “The King of Donington” who took the whole shot for Race 1. BMW says No to MotoGP

BMW Motorrad has clearly stated that they have no interest in competing in the highest level of circuit racing that is MotoGP.

Their exit from WorldSBK back in 2013 was rumoured as a preparation to join MotoGP but they clarified that they were refocusing on developing their road bikes at the time.

BMW Motorrad is currently racing in WorldSBK with the Althea BMW Racing Team together with their riders, Raffaele De Rosa and Jordi Torres piloting their BMW S1000RR.

With more and more factory teams partaking in the world’s highest level of circuit racing that is MotoGP, some folks are starting to wonder if there will be more manufacturers willing to give a shot at racing fame as well as showcasing they physical prowess when it comes to developing superb racing machines.
