Triumph Motorcycles

Triumph Motorcycles has reached a historic milestone by unveiling the millionth motorcycle built since the company’s return in 1990.

To celebrate the landmark achievement, the folks at Hinckley revealed a one-off custom-painted Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro.

Frankly, we thought the Bonneville would have been the ideal choice considering that it is an undisputed British icon. However, understanding how successful the Tiger 900 range since it introduction in 2019 including making an appearance in the latest James Bond franchise, the Tiger 900 Rally Pro is indeed the perfect candidate.

“Everyone at Triumph is incredibly proud to have played a part in achieving such a momentous moment in the modern history of this iconic brand.

“Over the 31 years since we re-launched Triumph with a new line of British designed motorcycles in Cologne in 1990, we have shared so many great moments with our fans across the world.

“From returning to the TT champions arena, to entering the MotoGP paddock with our Moto2 Engine partnership to supporting the biggest global riding event and its great cause for health and wellbeing with the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, to mention only a few.

“Triumph’s success has always stemmed from the passion and commitment we share with our riders,” said Triumph CEO, Nick Bloor.

The special one-off Tiger 900 Rally Pro will be on display on Triumph’s stand at this year Motorcycle Live Show at the NEC.

Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the special edition Street Twin, Thruxton RS and Rocket 3 R & GT for 2022.

Each of the motorcycles carries its own story and styling and is made available for one year only, beginning December 2021.

Triumph Rocket 3 R and 3 GT 221 Edition

Triumph has always been proud of the Rocket 3 line, and the special edition celebrates the monstrous 221Nm of peak torque available from the largest production engine on the planet.

The number 221 is also inscribed on the tank to remind you how powerful the engine is.

The 221 Editions also feature a Red Hopper fuel tank and front mudguard with Sapphire Black rear mudguard, flyscreen and front fascia.

Triumph Thruxton RS Ton Up Edition

Claimed to be the ultimate cafe racer, the special edition Thruxton RS was inspired by the ‘Ton-Up Boys’ of the 1950s and 60s.

It features an Aegean Blue fuel tank with jet black knee pad graphics, Fusion White seat cowl with ‘100 Special Edition’ graphics and hand-painted coach lining.

Triumph Street Twin EC1 Edition

Inspired by the two-wheel culture in East London, the EC1 Edition takes you back with a unique paint scheme to reflect the East End.

The EC1 Edtion features Matt Aluminium Silver and Matt Sliver Ice fuel tank with hand-painted silver coach lining.

All three models are not limited but are restricted to just a one-year production beginning from December 2021 until December 2022.

Triumph Motorcycles has shed some light on the upcoming Tiger 1200 ahead of its official launch.

The Tiger 1200 is set to join the recently launched Tiger 660 and the already available Tiger 900.

The latest images by the folks at Hinckley revealed a clear redesign of the Tiger 1200 but still maintaining the same identity as the previous generation.

While this is not our first insight into the new Tiger 1200, the new images provide a better look into the upcoming ADV bike.

What we realized is that the new Tiger 1200 appears to have slimmer bodywork than its predecessor.

Despite no further details being revealed, Triumph already confirmed that the 1200cc bike will be available in a T-Plane configuration like the Tiger 900.

The result is a thumpy power delivery at low rpm similar to a V-Twin.

Triumph Motorcycles is soon to announce a new range of small and medium capacity bikes in collaboration with Indian firm Bajaj Auto.

Triumph penned a deal with Bajaj back in January 2020 to develop a new range of so-called ‘baby’ Triumph that would sit between 200 to 750cc model range.

While the Covid-19 pandemic has pushed back the new model’s unveiling, according to Triumph Motorcycles Head of Brand Management, Miles Perkins, plans are still on track.

“That’s going great guns, I have seen the development motorcycles and the prototype for those, it’s all on track.

“We haven’t yet confirmed exactly what the bikes are and exactly when we will launch them but the news is forthcoming soon,” he said.

Interestingly, the latest update suggests that the new range will be sold globally, dismissing the earlier reports that Triumph intends to target only the Asian markets.

Meanwhile, Triumph is currently busy updating its 2022 range starting with the recently launched new Tiger Sport 660. The British firm is also set to unveil the new Tiger 1200 range after dropping a few sets of teaser photos and videos of the new adventure bike.

Triumph Motorcycles is proud to extend its partnership with The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride (DGR) for another five years.

The partnership extension is seen as integral for both sides that already shared a story of great success in support of medical research against prostate cancer and male mental health.

DGR and Triumph Motorcycles has generated hundreds of thousands of participants around the world since 2014.

Constant contribution by Triumph Motorcycles and the motorcycle community has allowed DGR to reach greater heights than ever before.

“In 2014, when we first partnered with #triumph Motorcycles, I thought they were the most suitable motorcycle brand to represent The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride.

“Since then we have done so many beautiful things together, for example, we have been able to reward some of the most talented and motivated fund-raisers with the exceptional motorcycles of the Modern Classics family, as in the case of the #triumph Thruxton RS made specifically in 2021.

“Today, that after 8 years together we announce the extension of our collaboration relationship for another 5 years, I am even happier than I was in 2014,” said Mark Hawa, Founder and Director of DGR.

The Distinguished Gentlamans ride in Belgrade, Serbia on 23rd of May, 2021.

During the first DGR that took place in September 2014, the Triumph-sponsored DGR saw a participation of around 20,000 bikers in over 58 countries.

The gathering saw a total of USD1.5mil collected in its first year before raising over USD2.3mil the following year.

Ricky Carmichael is perhaps one of the best candidates on planet earth to test out any adventure motorcycle.

In order to push for the best, it is only wise for Triumph Motorcycles to pick Carmichael as the right person to have a go at the upcoming Tiger 1200.

According to the 7-time AMA Motocross 450cc Championship and 5-time AMA Supercross 450 champion, the Tiger 1200 is an incredible machine.

“It’s just amazing. I’m blown away at how it handles. The in-house engine design makes it feel lighter,” said the 41-year-old.

Triumph Motorcycles has been making serious waves in the industry ever since they launched the Tiger 900 range in 2019.

Words of mouth were quick to suggest that the next obvious move is to introduce an all-new Tiger 1200; however, the British marquee decided to focus on the middleweight segment, with the Trident 660.

The wait is finally over as Triumph Motorcycles has provided a clear look into the upcoming Tiger 1200.

Clad in a camo overall, the Tiger 1200 looks more aggressive than its 900 range, especially with a broader front fascia and bigger LED headlamp.

The folks at Hinckley has confirmed that the Tiger 1200 will feature the innovative T-Plane crank like its 900 siblings.

The T-Plane engine provides an uneven firing order, resulting in a more efficient drive at low rpm and extra push at high rpm, making the 900 the best adventure motorcycle you can enjoy on and off-road.

Triumph also confirmed that the new adventure motorcycle is significantly lighter than its closes competition.

We have to wait for its official unveiling for further confirmation, which we think will happen anytime soon.

If Ian Fleming is alive today, the Triumph Tiger 900 might be the weapon of choice for his 007.

It is lightweight, easy to manoeuvre around small towns and handles really well in off-road condition, making it the best vehicle to escape or chase any of the SPECTRE goons.

In recognition of the iconic spy film with Daniel Craig reprising his role as James Bond for the fifth and final time in No Time To Die, Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled the Tiger 900 Bond Edition, limited to just 250 units worldwide.

Based on the Tiger 900 Rally Pro, the limited edition adventure motorcycle features the innovative T-Plane triple-cylinder 900cc engine capable of producing 94hp and 86.8Nm.

The main characteristic falls to its clandestine Matt Sapphire Black paint job with gold accents and graphics that create a mysterious yet aggressive look.

The fuel tank features the 007 logo, which also appears on the full-colour TFT screen during startup.

In addition, the frame, headlight, side panels, sump guard, pillion footrest, lamp shrouds and engine guards are also painted with a stealthy black colourway. The handlebar clamp also displays the bike unit numbers to remind you how “limited’ the Tiger 900 Bond Edition is.

However, please be mindful that the Tiger 900 Bond Edition is not one of Q’s crazy inventions, so do not expect it to come equipped with flamethrowers or automatic rifles.

Those are sold separately and needs special clearance from M.

Just a few weeks ago, Triumph Motorcycles unveiled the Tiger 1200 Prototype, which is launching soon.

When the guys at Hinckley dropped the first set of teasers, there were questions about whether the Tiger 1200 will received the same innovative T-plane crank as the Tiger 900.

However, the latest teaser by Triumph has confirmed that the Tiger 1200 will feature the new innovative T-plane crank, which will take the newest adventure bike to greater heights.

The T-plane crank improves power delivery at low and high rpm making which helps to propel the Tiger 900 as a leading middleweight adventure bike.

While the full details of the new engine are still unknown, including the specs, it is safe to assume that the Tiger 1200 with its T-plane crank is something to look forward to.

“The new Tiger 1200 official prototype testing showcases Triumph’s signature T-Plane triple advantage for the first time in the large capacity adventure world.

“Delivering more power and character than its closest competition, the only other shaft-driven bike in the class, the new 1200 engine brings all of the low-down torque delivery of a twin, married to the top-end punch and an incredible soundtrack that only the Triumph triple delivers.

“The new T-Plane triple is beautifully smooth and refined, with incredible response and tractability, equally perfect for kicking up the dirt, sweeping through the corners, or crossing continents in style,” said Triumph in a statement.

Triumph Motorcycles has officially unveiled the 2022 Speed Triple 1200 RR after a series of teasers.

As confirmed by previous reports, the new Speed Triple RR is based around its naked cousin (the Speed Triple RS) but with additional electronic suspension and semi-front fairing.

While it may feature the same frame, subframe and fuel tank, the Speed Triple RR is an altogether new motorcycle.

The most notable change is the introduction of the semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 electronic suspension, replacing the NIX30 inverted fork and TTX36 twin-tube monoshock on the RS.

Other significant revisions include more aggressive ergonomics thanks to 5 inches lower and 2 inches forward clip-on handlebars and raised footpegs.

Moreover, the use of a single circular LED headlamp paired to a retro-ish front panel, and Red Hopper/Storm Grey colour scheme creates a striking image.

Nonetheless, underneath the elegant looking sports bike sits the same liquid-cooled, DOHC, 1,160cc triple-cylinder engine with 177hp and 125Nm that powers the Speed Triple RS, including a 6-speed gearbox with slip and assist function.

Other exciting features include:

  • Brembo MCS lever
  • Brembo Sytlema calliper
  • 320mm front disc and 220mm single rear disc
  • Five riding modes
  • advanced wheelie control
  • cornering ABS
  • traction control
  • bi-directional quickshifter
  • cruise control
  • 5″ TFT instrument cluster with My Triumph connectivity

The 2022 Speed Triple 1200 RR will be available as early as January 2022.

Ciri elektronik lain ditawarkan:

  • 5 mod tunggangan
  • wheelie control
  • cornering ABS
  • traction control
  • quickshifter
  • cruise control
  • paparan TFT 5″ dengan fungsi My Triumph

Menurut Triumph Motorcycles, Speed Triple 1200 RR baharu ini akan ditawarkan awal 2022.
