Siapakah Penunggang GP Pertama Malaysia?

Dengan lebih ramai penunggang-penunggang dari Malaysia bertanding di peringkat antarabangsa di seluruh dunia, sudah tentu kita tertanya-tanya siapakah penunggang GP pertama Malaysia.
Terdapat ramai warga Malaysia yang telah bertanding di perlumbaan GP nasional dan juga serantau semenjak tahun 60-an hingga 80-an, seperti pelumba legenda Oh Kah Beng dikenali sebagai “Foreman Oh” dan Kuan Huah Chin dikenali sebagai “Bulldog Kuan”.
Penunggang GP moden pertama tidak lain dan tidak bukan, Shahrol Yuzy, yang memulakan kerjaya GP antarabangsanya pada tahun 1996 dan bersara pada tahun 2002.

Who was Malaysia’s First GP Rider?

With more Malaysian riders competing in international races around the world, the question of who was Malaysia’s first GP rider comes to mind.

There were many Malaysians racing in regional and national GP races back in the 1960s to 1980s from the legendary riders like Oh Kah Beng aka “Foreman Oh” and Kuan Huah Chin aka “Bulldog Kuan”.

The first modern-day GP rider is none other than Shahrol Yuzy who began his international GP career back in 1996 and retired in 2002.

In this modern day and age, Malaysians are getting more recognition than ever especially in the motorcycle racing world. Currently, we have a total of three young Malaysians competing in the highest level of road or circuit racing that is MotoGP. (more…)

Nicky Hayden telah terlibat dalam satu kemalangan jalanraya serius yang telah mengakibatkan kecederaan serius di bahagian kepala, dada serta pinggulnya ketika dia sedang menjalankan sesi latihan berbasikal di Rimini, Itali.
Juara Dunia 2006 MotoGP itu telah dipindahkan ke Hospital Maurizio Bufalini di Cesena di bawah unit rawatan intensif.
Dia dikatakan mengalami pelbagai kecederaan serius yang telah menyebabkan kecederaan otak serius.

Nicky Hayden Updates from the Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team

Nicky Hayden was involved in a major road accident which left him with severe pelvic, head and chest trauma while out on a cycling training session in Rimini, Italy.

The 2006 MotoGP World Champion was then transported to Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena under their intensive care unit.

He is said to have suffered a serious polytrauma with subsequent serious cerebral damage.

As most of you might already have heard, the 2006 MotoGP World Champion and current WorldSBK factory rider for the Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team Nicky Hayden was involved in a terrible accident while training in Italy. (more…)

Juara MotoGP 2006 Nicky Hayden Terlibat Dalam Kemalangan Jalanraya

Juara MotoGP 2006 dan juga penunggang dalam siri WorldSBK untuk Red Bull World Superbike Team telah terlibat dalam satu kemalangan jalanraya yang serius di Itali semalam.
Penunggang berusia 35 tahun itu sedang menjalankan sesi latihan menunggang basikal apabila dia telah dilanggar sebuah kereta yang menyebabkan kecederaan teruk di bahagian kepala dan dada.

2006 MotoGP Champion Nicky Hayden involved in Serious Road Accident

The 2006 MotoGP Champion and current WorldSBK rider for Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team was involved in a serious road condition in Italy early yesterday.

The 35 year old was on a cycling training session when he was hit by the car which caused severe head and chest trauma

John McGuinness Mengalami Kecederaan Serius Ketika Kemalangan Di Perlumbaan North West 200

John McGuinness telah didiagnos dengan retakan pelbagai di kaki kanannya, patah empat tulang belakang dan patah tiga tulang rusuk belakang semasa sesi latihan perlumbaan North West 200 Superbika pada 11 Mei 2017 lalu.
McGuinness perlu memakai kas simen sehingga enam minggu sebagai rawatan untuk kecederaan teruknya di bahagian tulang belakang dan akan kekal Hospital Diraja Victoria untuk minggu-mingu mendatang.
“King of The Mountain” ini mungkin sekali tidak dapat menyertai perlumbaan Isle of Man TT tahun ini pada 27 Mei 2017 dengan teman sepasukan barunya, Guy Martin.

John McGuinness suffers Major Injuries at North West 200 Crash

John McGuinness was diagnosed with a compound fracture to his right leg, four broken vertebrae and three broken back ribs during the North West 200 Superbike Practice Session on 11 May 2017.

McGuinness is required to wear a cast up to six weeks as treatment for the extensive injury on his vertebrae and will remain at the Royal Victoria Hospital for the upcoming week.

The “King of the Mountain” will most probably unable to participate at this year’s Isle of Man TT race on 27 May 2017 with his new team mate, Guy Martin.

Following John McGuinness and his crash during the practice session, Honda Racing has released an official statement regarding what happened during the 2017 North West 200 Superbike road race which was held Northern Ireland. John McGuinness went through a horrendous crash at the Primrose Section on 11 May 2017 at the final minutes of the practice session before the evening race. (more…)
