Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) Malaysia has announced their 2017 Yamaha MT-09 Tracer CKD will now be available in their big bike range.

The locally-assembled Yamaha MT-09 Tracer is the fourth Yamaha big bike model to be assembled at Yamaha’s assembly plant in Sungai Buloh.

The 2017 Yamaha MT-09 Tracer CKD is priced at RM52,000 (basic price with GST).

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) Malaysia has announced that their latest big bike addition is the 2017 Yamaha MT-09 Tracer CKD (completely knocked down). HJC Helmet Malaysia has also brought in some limited edition 2017 HJC RPHA 11 Monster Energy helmet series into the Malaysian market.

The Monster Energy series is the first ever official helmet collaboration with the energy drink brand and the designs came from the very famous helmet designer, Drudi Performance.

There are only a limited number of units in Malaysia and each of the HJC Monster Energy series is priced at RM2,429.

Along with the special HJC RPHA 11 Star Wars limited edition helmets, HJC Helmet Malaysia also brought in a pair of very special helmets to add to their every growing collection of top of the line full face helmets. HJC Helmet Malaysia has finally brought in the latest 2017 HJC RPHA 11 Star Wars helmets in limited numbers for the Malaysian market.

The top of the line full-face race helmets are replicas of headgears based on the Star Wars’ universe most iconic villains, Kylo Ren and Boba Fett.

The HJC Kylo Ren replica helmet is priced at RM3,359 while the Boba Fett edition is at RM3,000. Both helmets are limited editions.

HJC Helmets Malaysia has officially brought in their latest 2017 HJC RPHA 11 Star Wars helmets into the Malaysian market. The new designs inspired by two of the most iconic characters in the old and new Star Wars universe, the infamous bounty hunter Boba Fett and the First Order lightsaber-wielding commander, Kylo Ren. KTM North America has just announced two brand new 2018 KTM Six Days special edition models in conjunction with this year’s International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) off-road race.

The two new 2018 models are the KTM 300 XC-W Six Days and KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days come with special graphics plus a whole list of performance upgrades.

Both models have been priced at €9,298 (around RM46,104) for the KTM 300 XC-W Six Days and €10,499 (around RM52,060) for the KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days.

Two very special 2018 KTM Six Days special edition models have been unveiled by KTM North America following the manufacturer’s extensive success in the off-road racing scene. The two new 2018 models which are the KTM 300 XC-W Six Days and KTM 450 EXC-F Six Days were chosen as the perfect platforms to further accentuate the two very successful off-road models. (more…)

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) Malaysia has released a very unique 2017 Yamaha Y125ZR Special Limited MotoGP Edition in conjunction with this year’s Malaysian MotoGP round in October.

The Yamaha Y125ZR comes in the Movistar Yamaha colours and all new owners will receive a special limited box that includes a genuine certificate, customised T-shirt, arm sleeves and a special collectible photo card of the bike.

HLYM has set the price at RM8,846.76 (basic price with GST) and the very limited edition Y125ZR is already available in the market now.

Mr Andul Rashid Ismail aka “Acid Welding” has created a Nissan Skyline powered custom cruiser as part  of a personal project for this year’s Art of Speed festival.

The ultimate custom cruiser powered by an RB20 engine taken from Acid’s Volvo drift car started off as just an idea when he couldn’t get a good deal for the car.

The project was able to materialise with the help of his 21 year old teenage son together with some determination, passion and good ol’ know-how to build the “RB20 Monster”.

Yes, you read that right. Somewhere in Malaysia, there’s a monstrous Nissan Skyline powered custom cruiser being completed because why not, right? Photos of the “RB20 Monster” have been frequently popping up in various social media platforms and our very good friends from [button color=”” size=”” type=”3d” target=”blank” link=”http://careta.my/”]Careta.my[/button] decided to hunt down this beast and its maker.
