The 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 is expected to arrive on Malaysian shores as early as March 2018.

Bookings are already open for all three variants from the base Panigale V4, Panigale V4 S up to the limited edition Panigale V4 Speciale.

Ducati Petaling Jaya is also organising its first Ducati Red Weekend on 13 and 14 January 2018 where you can know more about the V4 or any other models on sale.

According to some news that has been travelling in the World Wide Web, folks are getting super excited on the arrival of the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4. Based on reliable sources, the Italian manufacturer’s first full production four-cylinder superbike is expected to arrive in Malaysia as early as March 2018. (more…)

The MotoGP 2018 season will see all permanent riders wearing an airbag racing suit if they wish to compete in the race categories.

All racing suits must be fitted with an airbag system that will provide protection for the shoulders and collarbone.

This is a good move considering the manufacturers will invest more on airbag system which in turn will be made more available for consumers.

A very interesting update has just been confirmed by the folks over at MotoGP where beginning of the 2018 season, all riders must wear a racing suit equipped with airbag systems. The rule applies to each and every rider across all three categories (MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3) except for wildcard riders. (more…)

The PGM V8 is the latest 2000cc V8 monster naked bike that has been created in the land obsessed with V8 power, Australia.

Pat Maloney created the PGM V8 after retiring from a successful life in Superbike World Championship and Formula 1.

The engine is created by joining two Yamaha YZF-R1 engines together which generates a powerful 334hp and 214Nm of maximum torque.

In a place where the general population and motorheads are almost obsessed with the V8 engine configuration, it’s not a surprise when someone decides to stuff it into a motorcycle chassis. The Moto2 race category is clearly dominated by one bike manufacturer which is Kalex.

With a technologically-advanced chassis, almost 70% of the entire intermediate race class used Kalex in the 2017 season.

Riders like Johann Zarco, Franco Morbidelli and even Hafizh Syahrin all used Kalex bikes for a very good reason.

Some spy shots of JPJ testing the 2018 Honda X-ADV adventure scooter have been circulating online.

This means that the Road Transport Department is currently going through the Vehicle Type Approval (VTA) process for the Honda adventure scooter.

The Honda X-ADV is expected to arrive in Malaysia this year together with the Africa Twin.

Defending champion Sam Sunderland is out of the Dakar Rally 2018 after suffering a crash in stage four of the race.

The 28 year old was leading the first two stages but a crash in stage four resulted in a back trauma which forced him out of the race.

Sam Sunderland was the first British Dakar Rally champion to ever win last year on board his KTM 450 Rally bike.

It has been reported that the current defending champion of the Dakar Rally Sam Sunderland from the KTM squad is out of the Dakar Rally 2018 race after suffering a crash that ended his efforts. After four stages of gruelling racing, the first ever British Dakar Rally champion was forced to end his campaign after suffering some significant injuries. (more…)

After the recall issued by Ducati and Aprilia in the US regarding the PR16 front radial master cylinder unit, a Brembo official statement has finally been released.

Brembo has stated that the manufacturers that are affected are Aprilia, Ducati, KTM, MV Agusta, TM Racing, Moto Morini and Horex.

Models from 2015 to 2017 which uses the PR16 front radial master cylinder are typically used with Brembo M50 callipers.

It was only a few days ago at the beginning of the year where news broke out regarding a possible recall for a Brembo master cylinder unit. Manufacturers in the US like Aprilia and Ducati have since released official notices to owners with bikes that use the Brembo PR16 front radial master cylinder unit which is typically used with the Brembo M50 calliper package. Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has announced that the 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster will come at an expected price of below RM80,000.

Triumph’s latest modern classic cruiser is a combination of the Bobber’s chassis and the T120’s 1200cc high-torque engine.

Expect the 2018 Triumph Speedmaster to arrive on Malaysian shores sometime in the first quarter of 2018.

Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has announced on their official Facebook page that the highly-awaited 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster will be available soon with a price tag of below RM80,000 (and also open for booking). The latest addition into the Triumph modern classic family was just launched globally just a few months ago in October 2017.

Yamaha Motor Japan has revealed that they have purchased some amazing three-wheeled motorcycle patents from Brudeli Tech.

The Norway-based company focuses a lot on automotive technology and their Brudeli Leanster vehicles are proof on how far they have come.

This purchase shows that Yamaha is indeed very interested in further developing their investment of their three-wheeled efforts following the Yamaha Niken launch at EICMA 2017.

Yamaha has revealed that they have purchased a bunch of patents from Norway-based Brudeli Tech who specialises in the leaning vehicle segment thanks to their Leanster bikes. The update was released soon after the launch of the Yamaha Niken or MWT-9 during last year’s EICMA show in Milan, Italy. (more…)
