ONEXOX TKKR SAG TEAM Pikat Thomas Luthi Bagi Musim 2021

Selepas pelumba tonggak, Remy Gardner disahkan akan berhijrah ke Red Bull KTM Ajo musim depan, ONEXOX TKRR SAG TEAM akhirnya mengumumkan pengganti baharu.

SAG Racing Team mengumumkan Thomas Luthi sebagai pelumba baharu pasukan itu bagi musim 2021.

Luthi yang merupakan antara pelumba berpengalaman di kelas Moto2 merupakan bekas juara dunia 125cc dan menamatkan saingan musim 2019 di tempat ketiga selepas merekodkan lapan podium dan satu kemenangan di GP Amerika.

Dia turut berpengalaman di kelas premier apabila beraksi bersama Marc VDS menggunakan jentera Honda RC213V pada 2018 sebelum kembali ke Moto2 pada tahun berikutnya.

Menurut SAG Racing Team, sasaran utama bagi Luthi adalah merebut kejuaraan Moto2 musim depan.

Dalam perkembangan lain, Petronas Sepang Racing Team (SRT) mengesahkan Valentino Rossi sebagai pelumba baharu musim depan menggantikan Fabio Quartararo yang beralih ke Monster Energy Yamaha.

Moto2 2019: Thomas Luthi Wins at Grand Prix of the Americas

Returning rider Thomas Luthi wins the Moto2 race at the Grand Prix of the Americas.
His teammate Marcel Schrotter took second after battling with Alex Marquez.
Championship leader Jorege Baldassarri crashed out.

It was a day of redemption for Thomas Luthi as he won the Moto2 race at the Grand Prix of the Americas.

The Swiss rider gave up on riding in MotoGP after lackluster results and returned to the Moto2 with the Dynavolt Intact GP team.

It was his teammate Marcel Schrotter who took the holeshot at the start, followed by Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS). However, Marquez was able to force his way through a few corners later.

But instead of managing to break away, he was hunted down Luthi who had overtaken Schrotter. Soon, the pair started trading places with Marquez. The latter even resorted to putting up some hard passes but Luthi preservered and made his move stick. Luthi didn’t book back from that point on and rode to his win.

Marquez began falling into the grasps of Schrotter. When the latter moved to overtake, Marquez responded with hard passes including bumping into Schrotter. But Marquez couldn’t defend anymore and Schrotter passed him to claim second.

Marquez kept fading and was eventually passed by Jorge Navarro (Beta Tools Speed Up) who had Mattia Pasini (Flexbox HP 40) in tow.

Championship leader Jorge Baldassarri (Flexbox HP 40) crashed out after hitting the rear tyre of Jorge Martin’s (Red Bull KTM Ajo) out-of-control bike.

Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin Merangkul Tempat Ke-tiga Di Jepun

Penunggang Moto2 dari Malaysia, Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia), telah berlumba dengan jayanya, merangkul penamat podium keduanya dari tiga perlumbaan yang lepas.
Alex Marquez (EG 0,0, Marc VDS) yang muncul juara perlumbaan di pusingan Motul Grand Prix of Japan di Litar Twin Ring Motegi yang amat basah disusuli oleh Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing).
Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) masih mendahului kejohanan ini dan akan meneruskan persaingan merebut kejuaraan Moto2-nya di Phillip Island pada hujung minggu hadapan.

Moto2: Hafizh Syahrin scores triumphant third in Japan

Malaysia’s own Moto2 rider Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) scored yet another brilliant finish making it his second podium finish in the past three races.

It was Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) who finished the Motul Grand Prix of Japan in top spot at a very wet Twin Ring Motegi followed by Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing).

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) still leads the championship as they move to Phillip Island next weekend to continue his Moto2 championship battle.

It was Alex Marquez (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) who came up on top at a very, VERY wet MotoGP race at the Twin Ring Motegi. Second spot went to Xavi Vierge (Tech 3 Racing) but the highlight of the race for all Malaysians was our very own Hafizh Syahrin (Petronas Raceline Malaysia) who scored yet another podium finish in the last three rounds. MotoGP: Sam Lowes Kembali Ke Moto2 Bagi 2018

Penunggang pasukan pengilang Aprilia MotoGP semasa, Sam Lowes, dikatakan telah menandatangani kontrak yang bakal menyaksikan kemunculan semulanya di kelas pertengahan Moto2 bagi 2018.
Lowes akan berlumba bagi pasukan CarXpert Interwetten Moto2 setelah mencapai kata sepakat sewaktu GP British pada hujung minggu lalu.
Penunggang semasa bagi pasukan CarXpert Interwetten, Thomas Luthi, akan berhijrah ke kelas MotoGP pada tahun akan datang bagi menyertai pasukan Marc VDS bersama dengan Franco Morbidelli.

MotoGP: Sam Lowes returns to Moto2 in 2018

Current Aprilia MotoGP factory rider Sam Lowes is said to have signed a contract that will see him return to the Moto2 intermediate class in 2018.

Lowes will race with the CarXpert Interwetten Moto2 outfit after coming to an agreement during the British GP this past weekend.

Current CarXpert Interwetten rider Thomas Lüthi will move up to MotoGP next year to join the Marc VDS squad with Franco Morbidelli.

With all the 2018 MotoGP seats getting filled up, it seems that current Aprilia Racing Team Gresini rider Sam Lowes has confirmed that he’ll be rejoining the Moto2 intermediate class for the upcoming season. (more…)

MotoGP: Thomas Luthi Menandatangani Perjanjian Bersama Marc VDS Bagi Musim 2018

Marc VDS Racing Team telah memilih Thomas Luthi sebagai penunggang kedua mereka bagi musim 2018.
Penunggang berusia 30 tahun dari Switzerland itu akan berhijrah ke MotoGP pada musim hadapan bersama dengan seteru semasanya dalam Moto2, Franco Morbidelli.
Kedua-dua Luthi dan Morbidelli berada di tempat teratas dalam kejohanan dunia Moto2 2017 dengan hanya 26 mata membezakan kedua-dua orang penunggang ini.

MotoGP: Thomas Lüthi signs with Marc VDS for 2018

The Marc VDS Racing Team has chosen Thomas Lüthi as their second MotoGP rider for the 2018 season.

The 30 year old Swiss will graduate to MotoGP next season together with his current rival in Moto2, Franco Morbidelli.

Both Lüthi and Morbidelli are on top of the Moto2 2017 world standings with just 26 points separating the two riders.

The Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS team has finally completed their 2018 MotoGP rider line-up with the latest signing of current Moto2 rider, Thomas Lüthi. The 2018 MotoGP season will see Thomas Lüthi teaming up with another rookie, Franco Morbidelli, who’s currently leading the 2017 Moto2 championship. (more…)

Franco Morbidelli (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) menjadi penunggang Itali pertama yang memenangi dua perlumbaan Moto2 secara berturut-turut.
Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) muncul di tempat kedua selepas Alex Marquez terbabas keluar dari perlumbaan pada pusingan yang terakhir perlumbaan.
Thomas Luthi (CarXpert Interwetten) mengisi kedudukan podium dengan jarak 15 saat di belakang Morbidelli.

It’s a day filled with mixed emotions for the Moto2 EG 0,0 Marc VDS when both of their riders were heading for a one-two finish on top of the podium when all of a sudden Alex Marquez suffered a horrific crash in the very final lap. Franco Morbidelli came out on top (again!) after a very good start in the beginning of the race. (more…)
