Yamaha YZF-R15 And MT-15 To Feature Bluetooth Connectivity

Yamaha recently launched the all-new FZ-X, a retro-styled naked motorcycle in India.

Despite the small displacement, the FZ-X features Bluetooth connectivity via the Yamaha Y-Connect application, allowing the rider to monitor the motorcycle information, including engine health, service intervals, and parking location.

The Y-Connect feature is similar to the one available in Malaysia with the all-new 2021 Yamaha NVX.

However, the latest report suggests that Yamaha plans to update the YZF-R15 and MT-15 range to feature Bluetooth connectivity.

The move is seen as an effort to increase ownership experience, especially aspiring riders.

The Y-Connect function will enable riders to access the bikes overall condition and location, including sharing your ride on social media.

Yamaha NVX With Y-Connect Now Available From Hong Leong Yamaha Motor – From RM8,998!

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor lands another eagerly-awaited scooter, the 2021 Yamaha NVX with Y-Connect.

For 2021, Yamaha NVX comes in two new exciting variants, Standard and ABS, with the two is priced at RM8,998 and RM10,998, respectively.

The previous generation NVX found popular standing among many Malaysian motorcyclists, with thousands of these model already reached customers across the nation.

The 2021 NVX features a new LED headlight with a bigger and bolder shape than the previous generation.

However, the most significant upgrades take us to the Y-Connect capability that allows your smartphone to connect to the NVX. This feature allows you to get the latest information relating to the engine oil change, fuel consumption, service reminders and the last location of the motorcycle.

At the core sits a new 155cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled SOCH with VVA capable of producing 15.4PS @ 8,000rpm and 13.9Nm @ 6,500rpm.

Other exciting features include:

full LED headlight and 12 compact LEDs at the rear
12v DC socket

Yamaha also claimed the new NVX capable of reaching 200km range thanks to a bigger 5.5L tank.

The Standard are available in Red and Cyan, while the ABS variants are available in Platinum SE and GP Blue.

Hong Leong Yamaha Motor telah melancarkan Yamaha NVX 2021 menerusi siaran virtual hari ini.

Bagi tahun 2021, Yamaha NVX tampil dengan dua varian, standard dan dengan ABS sekaligus memperkembangkan pilihan bagi segmen skuter 150cc.

NVX baharu ini menjadi model Yamaha pertama di Malaysia menawarkan ciri Y-Connect, yang membolehkan penunggang memadankan telefon pintar kepada skuter bagi mendapatkan info dan status terkini jentera.

Antara info yang disampaikan adalah:

status semasa bateri dan minyak enjin
status penggunaan bahan api
peringatan servis
lokasi terakhir jentera

Selain daripada memudahkan penjagaan dengan peringatan servis, ciri Y-Connect juga memudahkan pemilik mengenal pasti lokasi jentera sekaligus memberi kelegaan sewaktu meletakkan kenderaan.

Enjin Yamaha Blue Core 155cc SOHC dengan VVA ini juga menawarkan peningkatan kuasa 15hp pada 8,000rpm dan 13.9Nm pada 6,500rpm berbanding model sebelumnya.
