Ducati who pioneered the use of winglets for MotoGP last season finally revealed their answer to the winglet ban. During the Qatar pre season testing this past weekend at the Losail International Circuit, it was Andrea Dovizioso who was chosen to preview Ducati’s new fairing design on the second day of testing. The trend in MotoGP for being the fastest rider out there during testing sessions is hand down dominated by Maverick Vinales of the Movistar Yamaha outfit. At the end of the third day of testing over in Qatar, Vinales was consistent in all three days and of course setting the fastest time in Day 2 and Day 3. Yesterday’s best time was at 1:54.330 during his 33rd outing in the Losail International Circuit. (more…)

It was Andrea Dovizioso from the Ducati factory team who top the MotoGP timesheets in the last pre-season testing session before the first race of 2017 gets under way in Qatar. Having completed a total of 36 laps in the first day, the Italian smashed Lorenzo’s 2016 race lap record with a blistering time of 1:54.819 on his 26th lap. (more…)

Aprilia has pulled the covers off their MotoGP contender bike together with their brand new riders for 2017, Sam Lowes and Aleix Espargaro. Although Aprilia has been in the championship for a couple of years now, they’re looking into bringing the fight over to the other factory teams who have been dominating the top of the timesheets in previous years.   • Barbera obtained the injury during a training session crash in Valencia

According to the Reale Avintia Racing (aka Reale Esponsorama  Racing) MotoGP outfit, Hector Barbera has successful went through an operation to fix his broken collarbone which he had obtained during a training session just a couple of days back. The Avintia Racing rider suffered the injury following a crash at the Circuit Ricardo Tormo located in Valencia. (more…)

  • In between the Cub Prix rounds, he will head to Spain to take part in the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship on board a 250cc Moto3 bike.

2017 will be an extra busy year for one Kasma Daniel Kasmayuddin who will be competing in the national Petronas AAM Malaysia Cub Prix championship AND the FIM CEV Repsol Moto3 Junior World Championship in Spain. The 17 year old hometown hero will be defending his championship title in the brand new premier category in the Cub Prix championship this year known as the CP150 or SuperCub 150. (more…)

The covers have been pulled off from the bikes that will compete in all three MotoGP categories and the KTM RC16 are looking fierce will their new looks.  The unveiling event was done in Austria where all the machines and their appointed riders were presented in all its glory. That’s it, folks. It has been confirmed that Triumph will supply its 765cc three-cylinder engine for the Moto2 category in MotoGP. During the pre-season testing over at Phillip Island, we saw that Maverick Vinales clocked in the fastest time in the three-day session. We can’t really know for sure but the new “double fairing” design on the Movistar Yamaha M1 might have contributed to the results eventhough it was the opposite for the nine-time world champion, Valentino Rossi. We’re currently seeing a familiar pattern in the MotoGP pre season testing sessions and that pattern is always Vinales being the fastest of them all. After being the only rider who went under 1 minute 29 seconds in Day 2, he improved by another three tenths in the final day of the #AusTest with a 1:28.549 in his 13th lap of the day. (more…)

Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) stunned the field when he clocked a 1:28:847 on his 21st lap early yesterday. He was the only rider to go sub 1 minute 29 seconds at one of the most challenging tracks in the MotoGP calendar. (more…)

The weather was almost perfect apart from a few sudden gusts of wind when the 2016 MotoGP™ World Champion completed Day 1 of testing at Phillip Island with the fastest time of the day. Out of the 68 laps completed by the Spaniard, Marquez clocked in the best lap of the day on his 53rd lap at 1:29:497. (more…)
