The MotoGP 2021 silly season took quite a turn ahead of the start of the 2020 season as Ducati Corse announced that Jack Miller will be their new factory rider next year. Team Suzuki Ecstar of MotoGP has confirmed their riders’ line-up until the end of the 2022 season as they inked a new contract with their young Spanish star, Joan Mir. The pre-season MotoGP test session is not for another week and already Maverick Vinales is the first to strike a deal with Yamaha which will see the young Spaniard racing for the factory squad until the end of 2022.

This newly signed agreement confirms that Yamaha is confident with Maverick Vinales and his abilities to carry them forward not only the upcoming seasons but also be the front runner is winning back the championship and developing the ever-growing Yamaha YZR-M1. (more…)

Phillip Island, Australia is now being considered by Dorna to become the MotoGP season opener for 2021. Why? The past years have shown that the Australia GP were disrupted on several different occasions due to the ‘unpredictable weather’ from heavy rains, strong winds, and unpredictable winter-like conditions.
