Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) took his second MotoGP win of the season in front of his home crowd.

Jorge Lorenzo, Andrea Dovizioso, and Dani Pedrosa all crashed out whilst fighting for second place.

Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) and Andrea Iannone (Team Suzuki Ecstar) took the crash as an advantage by finishing on the podium.

This year’s Spanish GP certainly did not disappoint the hundreds of thousands of fans congregating at the Circuito de Jerez. In front of his home crowd, Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda secured his second win of the year and also the championship lead with a very significant gap. (more…)

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP boss, Lin Jarvis, wants a much heavier penalty for Repsol Honda’s Marc Marquez.

Following his ‘dangerous riding’ last weekend in Argentina, Yamaha was certainly unhappy with the ‘slap on the wrist’ penalties.

Marquez’s riding caused the collisions with several riders including Aprilia’s Aleix Espargaro, Maverick Vinales, and Valentino Rossi.

The duo clashed yesterday mid-race which led to Rossi’s fall in the Argentina GP.

Johann Zarco (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) came in second followed by Alex Rins (Team Suzuki Ecstar) in third.

The drama-filled race saw many events especially the clash between Marc Marquez and Valentino Rossi.

LCR Honda Castrol rider Cal Crutchlow took home his third ever MotoGP victory yesterday in the Argentina GP. Marc Marquez has signed a new deal with Repsol Honda which will see him race with the squad until the end of 2020.

The four-time MotoGP world champion first came with Repsol Honda in 2013 and has only lost one championship in 2015.

This contract renewal shuts down all other gossips about Marquez moving to other teams in 2019.

Four-time MotoGP world champion Marc Marquez has announced that he will be staying with the Repsol Honda team until the end of 2020. The 25-year-old Spaniard signed a two-year deal with the factory Honda squad which means that he has guaranteed his seat on the factory Honda RC213V for a total of eight seasons until the end of his contract.
