MotoGP: Repsol Honda One-Two in Aragon; Lorenzo Third

The 14^th MotoGP round held in Aragon yesterday saw a one-two finish by the Repsol Honda boys, Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa

Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) showed tremendous progress finishing in third after leading the majority of the race on board his Ducati Desmosedici GP17.

Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) raced brilliantly and finished in P5 behind team mate Maverick Vinales despite a broken leg just 25 days ago.

It was a momentous MotoGP round at the 14^th MotoGP round that is the Gran Premiro Movistar de Aragon where Repsol Honda duo Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa scored a one-two victory in front of their home crowd. Jorge Lorenzo (Ducati Team) completed the all-Spaniard podium with an outstanding classic Lorenzo-styled riding on board the now comfortable Ducati Desmosedici GP17. (more…)

MotoGP: Valentino Rossi WILL TRY to ride in Aragon this weekend

Nine-time MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi (Movistar Yamaha) will try to ride this weekend at the 14^th round in Aragon, Spain.

The 38 year old Italian has had a very positive result following a fitness assessment on board the Yamaha YZF-R1M around the Misano World Circuit a couple of days ago.

After just three weeks since he sustained the broken leg, Rossi will need to convince MotoGP officials and medical staff if he plans to rejoin the 2017 MotoGP title chase this coming Sunday.

Our theories about motorcycle racers have been confirmed yet again, ladies and gentlemen. These folks are MENTAL. We found out that Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi will attempt to ride his competition Yamaha YZF-M1 at the 14^th MotoGP round in Aragon, Spain this coming weekend. (more…)

MotoGP: Valentino Rossi back in action on Yamaha R1M; targets Aragon return

Movistar Yamaha MotoGP rider Valentino Rossi clocked in four laps yesterday in Misano on board the Yamaha YZF-R1M as part of his fitness test.

The nine-time World Champion has been eager to get back in the 2017 title chase after having missed the past MotoGP round due to double fracture injury to his right leg.

Rossi has set his sights on racing his beloved Yamaha M1 in Aragon this weekend although his team has announced that WorldSBK Yamaha factory rider Michael van der Mark will be his replacement.

After just 18 days since the unfortunate event that fell upon the MotoGP nine-time world champion Valentino Rossi, the Doctor is back again for some two-wheel action. As part of his recuperating schedule which his actually extraordinarily ahead of time, Rossi clocked in four laps in San Marino at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli on board of a Yamaha YZF-R1M used by the VR46 Academy. Skully Helmet receives new investors following last year’s bankruptcy

The Skully Helmet project has been revived back from the dead thanks to a couple of new investors.

Businessmen Ivan Contreras and Rafael Contreras acquired SKULLY, Inc. and has rebranded the company to SKULLY Technologies.

Following the email blast sent by the new folks over at SKULLY Technologies, it seems that they will try their level best to “make this right”.

Looks like Skully Helmets are back in the game, folks. Following a recent email blast sent by Skully Technologies, it seems that the dead project has risen from the ashes yet again thanks to a couple of new investors pumping some proper funds into the company. (more…)

2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster teaser VIDEO released!

Triumph has released a very short teaser video signalling the upcoming launch of the new 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster on 3 October 2017.

The premium British bike manufacturer has chosen to revive the Speedmaster model which was first launched back in 2002.

We’re guessing that the new Speedmaster will run Triumph’s latest 1,200cc engine similar to the Thruxton and Bobber.

This coming 3 October 2017, Triumph will be introducing the latest addition into the Bonneville family that is the new 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster. The British manufacturer has announced this via a very short teaser video showing nothing but the name and date. (more…)

Honda releases teaser video for a new big bike – “What Lies Beyond”

Honda has released a brand new teaser video with the tagline “What Lies Beyond” signalling a brand new motorcycle launch this coming 24 October 2017.

The short teaser strikes to the heart of all motorcyclists regarding the reasons and feeling associated when it comes to riding and everything in between.

The teaser will actually come in five different parts which also signals that it might be more than just one 2018 model that Honda will launch.

Honda Motorcycles has released a very heart-warming video with the hash tag #WhatLiesBeyond, signalling a brand new motorcycle which will be launched on 24 October 2017. WorldSSP300 – Ana Carrasco becomes the first woman to win a World Championship motorcycle race!

Yesterday’s WorldSSP300 race in Portugal saw Ana Carrasco (ETG Racing) became the first ever female rider to win a World Championship motorcycle race.

The 20 year old Spaniard was locked in battle throughout the race but was able to pull off a stunning win at the very last corner and finish straight where she crossed the chequered flag first.

Currently, Italian Alfonso Coppola (SK Racing) still sits on top with only a single point separating him and the runner up, Marc Garcia (Halcourier Racing).

The WorldSBK round last weekend held at the iconic Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portugal saw quite a few historic moments. One of the most memorable events has to be the photo finish at the end of the WorldSSP300 race where 20 year old Spaniard Ana Carrasco crossed the chequered flag in first place. Carrasco became the first woman ever to win a World Championship motorcycle race in history. (more…)

MotoGP: Suzuki wants WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea in 2018?

Rumours have been floating around regarding the effort of trying to lure WorldSBK champion Jonathan Rea to join Suzuki in MotoGP.

With Team SUZUKI ECSTAR’s current star rider Andrea Iannone not performing as they had hoped, Dorna and Suzuki are said to be in talks in trying to pull in the WorldSBK World Champion.

If the transfer is successful, there’s a huge possibility that Suzuki will be able to fight against other factory teams as well as making the WorldSBK competitive again for other riders.

The last MotoGP round was full action, drama and action despite the exclusion of nine-time World Champion, Valentino Rossi from the Movistar Yamaha squad. It was yet another unfruitful race for Team SUZUKI ECSTAR as their supposedly number one rider Andrea Iannone had retire after 12 laps in the rain. (more…)

Malaysian couple returns home from global Honda RS150R honeymoon ride

Malaysian couple Mohd Alfishahrin Zakaria and Diana Latief has returned home to Malaysia late yesterday after completing their epic global Honda RS150R honeymoon ride.

The newlyweds spent over six months riding the Honda RS150R supercub across 25 countries which ended in London, England.

The couple was welcomed by family members, friends and representatives from Boon Siew Honda, GIVI Malaysia, PEMADAM and many more upon their return yesterday just in time for Malaysia Day.

After six months on the road riding across 25 countries, Malaysian newlyweds Mohd Alfishahrin Zakaria and Diana Latief has finally returned home to Malaysia late yesterday just in time for Malaysia Day. The couple took the Honda RS150R supercub for a trip of a lifetime around the world. (more…)
