2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster launched! – The new British custom icon

Triumph Motorcycles has just introduced their next generation 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster.

The modern classic cruiser uses a similar frame found in their Bobber and powered by their T120’s 1,200cc parallel-twin high-torque engine.

The 50s-inspired Speedmaster produces 76hp and 106Nm of torque with other modern features such as cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle, selectable riding modes, ABS, traction control and many more.

Triumph Motorcycles has just unveiled their latest 2018 Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster yesterday. The rebirth of the Speedmaster model which was first launched back in 2002 has gone through quite an evolution specially planned for its return into the modern classic world. (more…)

Motonation roadshow rocks Johor Bahru “Fast and Furious” style

The third Motonation roadshow was held in Johor Bahru on 23 September 2017 in collaboration with motorsport enthusiast community, JB Underground.

Over 40,000 visitors flocked to the roadshow which was filled with over 2,000 prized cars and bikes.

In excess of 30 renowned vendors participated in the roadshow from Digi, Renault, Honda, Petron, Spanarboy, 3M, Eagle Eyes, Uber and many more.

As we move closer to the main Motonation event this coming December, Motonation is going strong in promoting its grand finale through a series of road shows across the country. The latest pit stop was Johor Bahru where Motonation ran a successful campaign following a strong collaboration with renowned motorsport enthusiast community, JB Underground. (more…)

WorldSSP: Kenan Sofuoglu suffers TRIPLE HIP FRACTURE

Five time WorldSSP champion Kenan Sofuoglu suffered a triple hip fracture during Saturday’s qualifying session when he crashed out at the Magny Cours Circuit in France.

The 33 year old Turkish rider was well on his way to a front row start before crashing out and declared unfit to race due to the extensive injury.

With only two rounds remaining, it is uncertain whether Sofuoglu can heal in time to fight for the 2017 WorldSSP title with the current leader, Lucas Mahias from GRT Yamaha Official WorldSSP Team.

The 2016 WorldSSP World Champion Kenan Sofuoglu (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) recently missed the last French round at Magny Cours Circuit after crashing out during Saturday’s qualifying session. The five time World Supersport champion was declared unfit after suffering a horrendous triple hip fracture. (more…)

Sarolea SP7 – The 2019 ELECTRIC MotoGP bike?

The Sarolea SP7 race bike has been considered as one of Dorna’s potential candidates as the 2019 electric MotoGP bike supplier for a one-make electric series in 2019.

MotoGP race direction representative Loris Capirossi just finished testing the Sorelea SP7 electric race bike ahead of the last MotoGP round in Motorland Aragon.

Other potential candidates include the Lightning LS-218 and Mugen’s Shinden Roku electric race bike which has won the Isle of Man TT Zero road race a total of four times.

It was just last week when ex-MotoGP racer and current MotoGP race direction representative Loris Capirossi conducted a private test on a very special bike at Motorland Aragon. Prior the MotoGP round, the 44 year old Italian went into the circuit on board the Sarolea SP7, a fully-electric race bike which is considered as a huge potential for a brand new MotoGP electric class set for 2019. MV Agusta & Lewis Hamilton release MV Agusta F4 LH44 Limited Edition

Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton has renewed his contract with MV Agusta and has confirmed it with the release of the limited edition MV Agusta F4 LH44.

Inspired heavily by Lewis Hamilton’s taste and preference in terms of design and performance, the super limited F4 LH44 comes with a host of enticing upgrades.

Only 44 models will be manufactured and the price is said to be around the RM200,000 mark.

After the recent news regarding F1 star Lewis Hamilton renewing his contract with Italian premium bike manufacturer MV Agusta, they’ve have confirmed it with the release of the new and very limited MV Agusta F4 LH44 superbike. (more…)

2018 Loncin DS8 – Meet the Chinese BMW G 650 GS!

Chinese bike manufacturer Loncin has introduced their new middleweight adventure bike dubbed the 2018 Loncin DS8.

Judging by the overall package, the DS8 carries a lot of similarities when. compared to the discontinued BMW G 650 GS.

Powered by the same 651cc, twin cylinder engine, the DS8 is said to produce 50hp and 50Nm of torque.

During the 2017 China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMA Motor Show), Chinese bike manufacturer showcased yet another very familiar bike which goes by the name of the 2018 Loncin DS8. We are of course referring to how to bike looks eerily similar to the previous BMW G 650 GS adventure bike. (more…)

2018 Loncin HR7 500 – Honda CB500F’s copycat from China?

Chinese bike manufacturer Loncin has launched its first ever bike that is the 2018 Loncin HR7 500.

Based on the bike’s design and overall spec, it resembles the Honda CB500F very closely including its power and torque figure at 47hp and 44Nm.

There is no news on when the Loncin HR7 500 will be available in the market as it was only recently announced during the 2017 China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMA Motor Show).

Chinese bike manufacturer Loncin has revealed its first 500cc twin-cylinder engine earlier this week dubbed the 2018 Loncin HR7 500. Reports by specialists in the motoring media industry stated that the engine used to power the HR7 is almost identical to the one used in the Honda CB500F. (more…)

2018 Honda Gold Wing photos leaked!

Some leaked photos of the new 2018 Honda Gold Wing have been making their way around several social media platforms a couple of days ago.

It seems that the new 2018 Gold Wing has gone through quite a major makeover both inside and out.

The biggest change that we can see from the photos is the new front end suspension system which has some similarities to the BMW K 1600 range.

It was only a few weeks when the big boys from Honda released a very enticing teaser video with the caption “What Lies Beyond”. Now, it seems that several social media platforms have stumbled upon some leaked photos of the new 2018 Honda Gold Wing. (more…)

MEX Highway littered with nails, screws and steel wires?

According to a recent post made by a fellow outstanding Malaysian, the MEX Highway (Maju Expressway) was littered with nails, screws and wires today which have the potential to cause harm.

Mr Zul Mamu reported the findings on Facebook regarding all the potential accident-causing debris from the Salak Selatan toll plaza all the way to the Seri Kembangan exit.

We would like all proper authorities to look into this matter as soon as possible to make sure that there are no unwanted incidents happening to the thousands of road users who commute on the road daily.

According to a recent post made by an outstanding Malaysian citizen who was unfortunate enough to suffer from a tyre puncture, Mr Zul Mamu encountered a very disturbing scene where our very own MEX Highway was littered with debris that has the potential to cause more harm to the thousands of its road users. Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2017 rocks the road with style

The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Kuala Lumpur 2017 saw over 500 dapper participants joining the ride for a good cause.

Smartly dressed ladies and gentlemen rode prized motorcycles from vintage Vespas to custom cruisers from Triumph Fast Bikes Petaling Jaya all the way to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya.

The KL faction managed to collect over USD2,000 (around RM8,000) in donations to support the cause on men’s health and suicide prevention on both local and international platforms.

Over 500 smartly-dressed ladies and gentlemen got on their vintage and modern classic motorcycles for this year’s Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride 2017. The Kuala Lumpur faction organised by none other local outfit Naked13 where folks dressed in dapper rolled off from Triumph Fast Bikes Petaling Jaya all the way to IOI City Mall, Putrajaya. (more…)
