Panigale Kingdom Mega Gathering 2018 rumbles through 3rd year

The third annual Panigale Kingdom Mega Gathering 2018 was held today at the Gold Coast Morib International Resort.

Over 50 Panigale owners from across the country gathered in Putrajaya before heading out for the family day in Banting, Selangor.

Ducati Malaysia helped mark this special occasion with a sneak preview at the 2018 Ducati Panigale V4 and 1299 Panigale R Final Edition.

Over 50 Ducati Panigale owners gathered at the annual Panigale Kingdom Mega Gathering 2018 earlier today at the Gold Coast Morib International Resort in Banting, Selangor. Two units of the 2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale Final Edition have already arrived here in Malaysia earlier today.

One of the bikes has already been sold while the other is patiently waiting for its future owner.

Priced at RM339,900 (basic price with GST), the Final Edition is available at Ducati Malaysia in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

When it comes down to one of the best Ducati bikes ever made, the 2017 Ducati 1299 Panigale Final Edition sits somewhere on the top of that very list. Panggilan Semula Brek Brembo Dikeluarkan Di Amerika Syarikat Untuk Ducati Dan Aprilia?

Satu panggilan semula besar-besaran untuk brek Brembo telah dikeluarkan di Amerika Syarikat yang merujuk kepada unit silinder radial utama PR16 mereka yang popular, yang sering kali digandingkan dengan angkup Brembo M50.
Khabarnya, omboh dalaman pada silinder utama yang diperbuat daripada plastik itu cenderung rekahan yang boleh mengakibatkan kepincangfungsian besar pada brek.
Panggilan semula bagi sesetengah model dari pengeluar motosikal Ducati dan Aprilia telah disahkan dan Brembo bakal menggantikannya dengan omboh silinder utama buatan aluminium yang baru.

Brembo brake recall issued in the US for Ducati and Aprilia?

A huge Brembo brake recall has been issued in the US in reference to their popular PR16 radial master cylinder unit commonly paired with Brembo M50 calipers.

Apparently, the internal piston in the master cylinder made out of plastic is prone to cracks which may lead to major brake failure.

The recall for some models from Ducati and Aprilia in the US has been confirmed and Brembo will issue a new aluminium master cylinder piston as replacement.

In reference to a recent report made by Asphalt and Rubber, the gods of braking technology Brembo has officially issued a massive recall on their PR16 radial master cylinder unit which is the master cylinder usually found together with the Brembo M50 calipers. (more…)

Akrapovič releases greatest superbike tribute VIDEO of all time!

Akrapovič has released one of the greatest tribute videos for all the 2017 superbike models with their latest aftermarket exhaust line.

In the video, Akrapovič highlighted their latest Evolution line which comes in either carbon or titanium for the selected superbike models.

The amazing soundtrack features the latest 2017 Kawasaki ZX-10R, Yamaha YZF-R1, Honda CBR1000R Fireblade, Ducati 1299 Panigale, Aprilia RSV4, Suzuki GSX-R1000 and BMW S 1000 RR all fitted with some Akrapovič love.

Ducati now offers DTC EVO electronic package for older 1299 Panigales

Ducati has announced that their latest electronics DTC EVO package (Ducati Traction Control EVO) will be made available for older models of the 1299 Panigale.

The system which detects rear wheel spin and body position via six different axis points makes necessary adjustments to the bike’s throttle body valves, ignition and fuel injection.

The DTC EVO system is already a standard option found on the Ducati 1299 Superleggera and Ducati 1299 Panigale R Final Edition.

Adakah Ini Ducati Panigale Yang Terakhir?

Ducati telah mengeluarkan sebuah video teaser yang bertajuk “When the End Tells the Whole Story” yang mempamerkan sebuah Ducati Panigale yang berkemungkinan menjadi evolusi yang terakhir sekali motosikal berkenaan.
Terpapar juga tarikh 7 Julai 2017 dalam video itu yang merupakan tarikh pusingan WorldSBK yang seterusnya di Laguna Seca yang mungkin menjadi tempat pengenalan kepada motosikal Panigale yang terakhir ini.
Tindakan ini juga serentak dengan pembangunan motosikal superbike janaan-V4 mereka yang telah dirancang untuk dikilangkan dan juga bertanding dalam siri WorldSBK bermula pada musim 2018.

Is this the Final Ducati Panigale ever?

Ducati has released a video teaser entitled “When the End Tells the Whole Story” shows what probably looks like the FInal Ducati Panigale evolution ever.

There’s also the date of 7 July 2017 stated in the video which signifies the next WorldSBK round in Laguna Seca where most probably the final Panigale will be introduced.

There move also coincides with further developments of their V4-powered superbike that has been planned to go into production as well compete in the WorldSBK in the beginning of the 2018 season.

The end of the Ducati Panigale is getting closer and closer to reality with the giant Italian manufacturer getting ready to unveil one of their biggest paradigm shifts ever to the highly anticipated V4-powered superbike. While we’re not sure if this is true or not, Ducati has revealed a teaser video highlighting the Panigale with the tagline “When the End Tells the Whole Story”. (more…)
