  • Ianya telah diumumkan pada awal hari semalam yang penunggang WorldSBK, Marco Melandri akan meneruskan lagi kerjaya perlumbaannya dengan pasukan Aruba.it Racing Ducati untuk satu musim lagi pada tahun 2018.
  • Penunggang berusia 35 tahun dari Itali itu telah membuktikan kemampuannya sebagai penunggang di atas jentera Ducati 1199 Panigale R dengan penamat di atas podium yang konsisten serta dengan satu kemenangan perlumbaan pada musim ini.
  • Melandri kini sedang menduduki tempat ke-empat pada tangga kejuaraan WorldSBK 2017 dengan 189 mata; hanya 37 mata di belakang teman sepasukannya, Chaz Davies.

It was announced earlier today that WorldSBK rider Marco Melandri will continue his racing efforts with the Aruba.it Racing Ducati outfit for yet another season in 2018.

The 35 year old Italian has proven himself to be quite a rider on board the Ducati 1199 Panigale R with consistent podium finishes and even a race win this season.

Melandri currently sits fourth in the 2017 WorldSBK championship standings with 189 points; just 37 points behind his team mate, Chaz Davies.

Good news from the world of WorldSBK! It seems that the Aruba.it Racing Ducati team has decided to continue with the legendary Italian rider Marco Melandri for yet another season. Melandri will stick with Chaz Davies for the 2018 Superbike World Championship. (more…)

  • Pusingan keenam dalam siri perlumbaan WorldSBK musim ini berlangsung di Donington Park hujung minggu lalu menyaksikan Tom Sykes dan Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) mendominasi kedua-dua perlumbaan, menyumbang kepada kemenangan yang ke-100 dalam kejohanan ini bagi pasukan itu.
  • Tom Sykes memenangi Perlumbaan 1 diikuti oleh Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) di tempat kedua dan Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Racing) di tempat ketiga.
  • Jonathan Rea bertarung dengan hebat sekali di Perlumbaan 2 dan memenanginya diikuti oleh Tom Sykes dan Chaz Davies.

The sixth round of the WorldSBK race held in Donington Park last weekend saw Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) dominated both races contributing to the team’s 100th win in the championship.

Tom Sykes won Race 1 with Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) in second followed by Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Racing) in third.

Jonathan Rea made an amazing comeback in Race 2 with the win followed by Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies.

It was a clear and landslide victory for both the Kawasaki Racing Team riders this past race weekend during the UK Round of the WorldSBK race held at the legendary Donington Park. After an interesting outcome from Race 1 which saw two of the top podium contenders crashing out, it was Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) aka “The King of Donington” who took the whole shot for Race 1. Nicky Hayden was involved in a major road accident which left him with severe pelvic, head and chest trauma while out on a cycling training session in Rimini, Italy.

The 2006 MotoGP World Champion was then transported to Maurizio Bufalini Hospital in Cesena under their intensive care unit.

He is said to have suffered a serious polytrauma with subsequent serious cerebral damage.

The 2006 MotoGP Champion and current WorldSBK rider for Red Bull Honda World Superbike Team was involved in a serious road condition in Italy early yesterday.

The 35 year old was on a cycling training session when he was hit by the car which caused severe head and chest trauma

Hayden is currently being treated at a local hospital near Rimini, Italy. Show your support in social medias by using the hashtag #GoNicky.
