GPX Tuscany 150 Lancar Di Thailand, Kerjasama Dengan SYM

Jenama motosikal Thailand, GPX semakin mendapat tempat di pasaran Asia Tenggara selepas memperkenalkan beberapa siri motosikal.

Terbaru, GPX terus memperkembangkan portfolio mereka dengan pelancaran GPX Tuscany 150, sebuah skuter gaya retro yang kelihatan diinspirasikan daripada jenama popular, Vespa.

Menariknya, Tuscany 150 merupakan hasil usahama antara GPX dan pengeluar skuter Taiwan, SYM. Kedua-duanya pernah berkerjasama sebelum ini menerusi skuter GPX Drone yang dilancarkan pada hujung tahun 2020.

Bagi pasaran Thailand, GPX Tuscany 150 tampil dengan dua varian namun kedua-duanya hanya dibezakan dengan sistem kunci dengan varian tertinggi datang dengan fungsi ‘keyless’.

Dalam pada itu, Tuscany 150 dikuasakan enjin satu silinder 149.6cc SOHC, 2-valve dengan penyejukan udara dan menawarkan transmisi automatik jenis CVT.

Antara kelengkapan lain ditawarkan termasuk:

fork teleskopik depan
penyerap hentakan belakang (berkembar)
cakera brek depan
sistem brek CBS (combine braking system)
tayar 110/70-12 depan
tayar 120/70-12 belakang

Meskipun tampak retro, Tuscany 150 ini masih lagi datang dengan ciri moden seperti panel meter digital LCD, lampu LED dan pengecas USB.

Pada masa sama, skuter ini juga dilengkapi tangki bahan api 5.7L dan ruang letak barang (bawah tempat duduk) 27L.

Menurut GPX, Tuscany 150 ini dijual pada harga THB63,700 (RM8.1k).

SYM Unveils New MMBCU Scooter In China – 150cc, Dual-Channel ABS

Taiwanese motorcycle manufacturer, SYM has launched the all-new MMBCU scooter in China.

SYM MMBCU scooter runs on a 150.8cc engine.
Features futuristic design and minimal body panels.

At a glance, the new 150cc scooter looks amazing, certainly with the front fascia that looks inspired by Kawasaki H2 range.

The unconventional bodywork and a sharp side profile creates something that we have never seen before from a 150cc scooter. Also, the sporty single seat setup completes the look of the scooter.

Powering the MMBCU scooter is a 150.8cc 4-valve, liquid-cooled engine. Unfortunately, SYM yet to revealed the power output but we expect the power to be around 15hp.

The scooter is suspended by a telescopic for and monoshock suspension setup while the braking is regulated with dual-channel ABS mated to a single disc brake at the front and rear.

That said, the new scooter runs on 13-inch alloy wheels (front and back) and tips the scale at 136kg.

Other notable features include a fully digital LCD display, silent start, stop start function, USB charging port and 28L under-seat storage.

In addition, you also get a small storage at the front that can fit a 700ml water bottle.

SYM Lancar Motosikal ADV NH-T 300 Di Eropah – Enjin 278cc, 25HP

Eropah merupakan pasaran sengit bagi motosikal bersesaran 250cc hingga 400cc, maka tak hairanlah, pasaran Eropah menjadi tumpuan bagi pengeluar motosikal dunia.

Terbaru, jenama motosikal Taiwan, SYM tekad untuk memberi saingan dalam pasaran motosikal adventure bersesaran 250cc hingga 400cc di Eropah menerusi NH-T 300.

SYM NH-T 300 itu merupakan percubaan sulung SYM dalam menyaingi pasaran ADV bersesaran kecil di Eropah yang sebelum ini dimonopoli beberapa model antarnaya KTM 390 Adventure, Royal Enfield Himalayan serta Kawasaki Versys-X 300.

Bagaimanapun, jika dibandingkan dengan model lain, SYM NH-T 300 terbaru itu merupakan model yang paling kurang berkuasa apabila enjin satu silinder 278cc dengan penyejukan cecair itu hanya menawarkan 25hp. Apa pun, enjin tersebut berjaya mencapai standard Euro 5 sekaligus menjaminkan pembakaran yang lebih efisien dan tidak meninggalkan kesan karbon yang tinggi.

Pada masa sama, meskipun angka kuasa itu meletakkan NH-T 300 seangkatan dengan Himalayan namun, motosikal jenama Royal Enfield itu menampilkan ciri off-road berkemampuan tinggi.

Malah, SYM NH-T 300 itu lebih bercirikan motosikal untuk kegunaan jalan raya dengan penggunaan rim 19-inci yang dipadankan bersama tayar jalan raya.

Bagaimanapun, SYM mendakwa NH-T 300 itu mampu merekodkan kelajuan 140km/j.

Sementara itu, rekaan keseluruhan NH-T 300 ini tampak agak ketinggalan, malah tawaran terbaru Yamah menerusi Crosser 150 nampak lebih menarik dan agresif.

Walaupun aspek rekaan dan spesifikasi jauh ketinggalan jika dibandingkan dengan pesaing lain namun SYM NH-T 300 ini pastinya didatangkan dengan tanda harga yang lebih mampu milik.

FIRST LOOK: 2022 SYM Husky ADV 150

Along with the adventure motorcycle segment, the urban adventure scooter is also showing an upward trend.

Taiwanese scooter company, SYM is the latest manufacturer to join in the fight with the all-new 2022 Husky ADV.

With 150cc displacement, the Husky ADV is a direct competitor to the Honda ADV 150 which is priced at RM11,999 in Malaysia.

The liquid-cooled, single-cylinder SOHC engine on the Husky makes 14.4hp @ 7,500rpm and 14.5m @ 6,000rpm as compared to the Honda’s 14.6hp and 13.8Nm.

Nevertheless, the Husky ADV boast some interesting features, which includes a large 15-litres tank, bigger than its cousin, the SYM Maxsym TL500 that offers a 12.5L tank.

The Husky is also equipped with a full LED light setup including a neat-looking DRL (daytime running light) and a full-colour TFT instrument display that features an auto-dimming function.

It also comes with a conventional suspension setup, with telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear.

Braking is done by a 260mm front disc and 233mm rear disc paired to a dual-channel ABS as standard.

New SYM Maxi-Scooter Promises More Power – 26HP, 26Nm

Taiwanese scooter manufacturer, SYM Motors has expanded its product range with the new 2022 SYM Joyride 300.

The new Joyride 300 is the company latest response to the growing demand for maxi-scooter around the world.

According to SYM, the new model combines compactness, agility, safety and convenience making it the ideal choice for customers wanting a flat floor cruiser.

Interestingly, the Joyride 300 will replace the outgoing EVO 200.

The 2022 SYM Joyride 300 makes 26hp @ 8,000rpm and 26Nm @ 6,000rpm from its 280cc liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine.

The Joyride 300 rides on a 15-inch front and 14-inch rear wheel but can be upgraded with 16-inch front and rear wheels.

Interestingly, the maxi-scooter get a host of modern features which includes:

LED lighting
LCD instrument
keyless system 2.0
adjustable windshield
under-seat storage
glove box
quick charge 2.0

The new Joyride 300 is expected to arrive in Europe and Asia by early next year.

PREVIEW: SYM JetX Scooter and WMoto Xtreme shown in Malaysia!

MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, the sole distributor for SYM and WMOTO brand in Malaysia, has just revealed two new exciting scooters for the local market.

Introducing the SYM Jet X 150 and WMOTO Xtreme 150i, a 150cc scooter that offers two completely different experience.

SYM Jet X

The SYM Jet X is an urban city scooter that offers the latest features with a full LED lights setup, 7.5L fuel tank, digital LCD instrument and smart-key system (keyless).

The scooter is powered by a single-cylinder 149.6cc SOHC 2-valve engine capable of producing 12.3hp and 12Nm and matted to a CVT transmission.

You also get a huge 18L under-seat storage, USB port with 2.0 QC and adjustable (preload) twin mono-shock at the rear.

WMOTO Xtreme 150i

Since the introduction of the Honda ADV 150, the 150cc scooter segment has seen a considerable design change.

Following the footstep of the ADV 150, WMOTO introduces their own version of a 150cc adventure theme scooter, the Xtreme 150i.

This is not your regular Chinese made scooter; instead, the Xtreme 150i offers the latest features, including a dual-channel ABS, a key aspect usually found on a 250cc and above motorcycle.

The motorcycle is powered by the latest Euro 4 149.6cc engine offering 9.0kW @ 8,500rpm and 11.8Nm @ 5,000rpm.

Despite the lack of power, the Xtreme 150i comes with an 11L fuel tank with a (claimed) range of 400km.

The Xtreme 150i also comes with a complete LED light with Daytime Running Light (DRL), Smart/Stop function, full digital LCD instruments, 13L storage space, and two power outlets consisting of a USB port a 12V outlet.

During the official preview, MForce announced that the two motorcycles would be available around May and June with a price tag between RM8,000 to RM10,000.

SYM Taking Pre-Orders For All-New Maxsym 400

SYM has just launched the updated version of its Maxsym 400 maxi-scooter in China.

While updates usually refer to the manufacturer doing slight changes to the motorcycle, SYM has completely redesigned the scooter.

Hence, SYM refers to the Maxsym 400 as an all-new scooter, replacing the previous model, which is undoubtedly lacking in styling and performance.

SYM claimed that the scooter had been fitted with a lighter chassis, resulting in an impressive 18.5 per cent weight reduction.

SYM R&D centre also rearranged the engine position, battery, and water tank, to increased handling flexibility.

The revised model also get a set of a telescopic fork at the front and standard pre-load adjustable rear shock, including a keyless ignition system, adjustable windscreen and traction control.

The Maxsym 400 is now powered by a 399cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine (Euro 5 compliance) capable in producing 34hp @ 6,750rpm and 39.5Nm @ 5,250rpm.

MIROS Iktiraf SYM VF3i 185 Sebagai Kapcai Paling Selamat

SYM VF3i 185 varian Limited Edition dan Pro telah diberi pengiktirafan sebagai motosikal paling selamat dengan penarafan lima bintang menerusi Program Penilaian Motosikal di Malaysia (MyMAP).

Motosikal tersebut diiktiraf Institut Penyelidikan Keselamatan Jalan Raya Malaysia (MIROS) dengan kerjasama Institut Automotif, Robotik dan IoT Malaysia (MARii).

Difahamkan, aspek penilaian tersebut mengambil kira empat ciri utama membabitkan pematuhan peraturan Suruhanjaya Ekonomi Pertubuhan Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu untuk Eropah, Pematuhan Pengeluaran
(COP), ciri keselamatan dan program sokongan keselamatan pengguna.

Pada masa sama, SYM VF3i 185 merupakan satu-satunya motosikal jenis moped yang ketika ini menawarkan ciri keselamatan Anti-lock Braking System (ABS).

Dengan adanya ABS, sistem membrek motosikal bertambah efisien di samping mengelakkan daripada berlakunya tayar terkunci lalu tergelincir ketika membrek secara mengejut mahupun agresif.

Menurut Ketua Pengarah MIROS, Dr. Khairil Anwar bin Abu Kassim, fungsi ABS pada model VF3i 185 telah diuji sendiri oleh pihak MIROS pada 17 Mac lalu.

“Dengan bantuan ABS, kita dapat mengurangkan jumlah kematian yang melibatkan penunggang motosikal,” jelasnya.
