Honda RS150R Gets New Visual Updates For 2023 – RM8,299

The Honda RS150R now comes in Mat Charcoal Gray Metallic colour scheme for 2023. 

Apart from the new colourway, the 150cc kapcai still retain the same specification including the tried and tested single-cylinder 149.2cc liquid-cooled, four-valve DOHC engine capable of punching 15.8hp at 9,000 rpm 13.6 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

Nevertheless, the updated RS150R will be available at all Honda’s authorised dealership starting today (3rd June) with a recommended selling price of RM8,299. 

Other notable features include all LED lighting, digital instrument cluster and all-around hydraulic disc brake. 

Cub Prix: Azroy Hakeem To Pilot The Honda RSX Ahead Of The 2022 Season

CP150 defending champion Azroy Hakeem Anuar is set to return to the Petronas Malaysian Cub Prix with a new machine.

The Honda Yuzy Idemitsu rider will ride onboard the all-new Honda RSX 150 that was recently launched in Malaysia at the end of 2021.

This will be the first time that the RSX will make its bow at the championship.

Meanwhile, Azroy is looking forward to defending his championship with the new motorcycle.

“My goal for this year is to maintain the champion title.

“The Honda RSX-150 will replace the Honda RS150 motorcycle which was used previously in the championship.

“We are confident with the abilities of the motorcycle and this season, we hope to not just maintain the title of champion for CP150 but also hail as team champion for the CP150 category,”  he said.

As a defending champion, the new Honda RSX 150 will also feature the #1, which was last used in 2014 by Zaqhwan Zaidi.

The 2022 Petronas Malaysian Cub Prix will kickstart at Sepang International Circuit from 12-13 March.

Honda RS150R Dikemas Kini Dengan Warna Baharu – RM8,299

Boon Siew Honda (BSH) memperkenalkan pilihan warna baharu bagi model RS150R 2022 meskipun Honda RS-X telah pun dilancarkan sebelum ini.

Bagi tahun 2022, RS150R tampil dengan pilihan warna Vivacity Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue dan Radiate Grey Metallic disamping jalur grafik baharu.

Bagaimanapun, tiada perubahan dilakukan terhadap bahagian enjin yang masih lagi digerakkan platform satu silinder 149.2cc yang menghasilkan 15.8hp pada 9,000rpm dan 13.6Nm pada 7,000rpm.

Spesifikasi lain juga kekal antaranya lampu utama LED, meter digital, fork teleskopik depan dan penggunaan cakera brek depan dan belakang.

Honda RS150R 2022 ini ditawarkan pada harga RM8,299 (sebelum cukai jalan dan insurans).

Honda RS150R 2020 Dilancarkan – Harga Dari RM8,199!

 

Boon Siew Honda membuka kalendar 2020 dengan memperkenalkan Honda RS150R 2020 baharu.

Rekaan Honda RS150R kini dipertingkat dengan rekaan lebih sporty ditambah dengan sentuhan premium.

Selaras dengan konsep ini, fender belakang telah direka semula bagi menampilkan lampu brek yang lebih tirus sekaligus mempertingkatkan visual keseluruhan.

Selain daripada rekaan yang menonjol, Honda RS150R ini turut mendapat kemas kini moden bagi mempertingkatkan keselesaan penunggang antaranya panel speedometer LCD yang turut melengkapkan rupa luaran yang sporty.

Instrumen tersebut menawarkan informasi rev digital dan paparan speedometer di bahagian tengah. Ciri ini menyampaikan lagi perwatakan RS150R yang lebih fokus penunggang.

Honda RS150R turut didatangkan dengan rekaan grafik terbaru lantas mengangkat rekaan sporty ke taraf yang lebih tinggi. RS150R serba baharu kini menawarkan warna Trico Honda termasuk warna pilihan sedia ada – Hitam, Biru dan Edisi Repsol.

Honda RS150R kekal dijana dengan enjin 149.2cc empat valve DOHC yang menghasilkan 11.5kW pada 9,000rpm dan 13.6Nm tork pada 6,500rpm.

Meskipun ramai yang mengharapkan Honda RS150R V2 datang dalam bentuk Winner X – jentera cub yang dipasarkan di Vietnam – namun model kemas kini ini masih ada serinya.

Kami melakukan tinjauan di Welly Team Cycle Subang Bestari bagi melihat dengan lebih dekat Honda RS150R V2 yang dihasilkan berdasarkan Supra GTR yang dipasarkan di Indonesia.

Walaupun datang dengan tanggapan awal tampak sama seperti model V1 namun versi baharu ini tetap menarik perhatian terutamanya dengan pilihan warna Honda Tricolour serba baharu.

Malah, warna rim emas turut mempertingkatkan rupa keseluruhan jentera yang tampak lebih sporty.

Meskipun bukan Winner X namun RS150R masih tampak garang dan sporty terutamanya fender dan lampu brek belakang yang tampak lebih menonjol.

Sejak dilancarkan pada 2016, Honda RS150R bingkas mendapat tempat di hati peminat kapcai di Malaysia.

Bagaimanapun, dalamt tempoh tiga tahun ini, beberapa model kemas kini telah dipasarkan di negara jiran antaranya, Honda Winner X di Vietnam dan Supra GTR 150 di Indonesia.

Baru-baru ini, kami diberitahu bahawa Honda RS150R V2 akan diperkenalkan dalam masa terdekat di Malaysia.

Meskipun Winner X dan Supra GTR 150 tampak berbeza antara satu sama lain namun kedua-duanya berkongsi enjin yang sama.

Persoalannya, rekaan mana yang akan dibawa masuk ke pasaran negara?

Menurut sumber, Honda RS150R V2 yang akan dibawa masuk adalah berdasarkan Supra GTR 150 yang dijual di Indonesia.

Berdasarkan spesifikasi, Supra GTR 150 menghasilkan 15.7hp pada 9,000rpm dan 13.5Nm tork pada 6,500rpm yang disalurkan menerusi transmisi enam kelajuan.

Berikut antara ciri lain yang terdapat pada Supra GTR 150:

  • paparan meter digital
  • lampu LED
  • DOHC
  • tangki 4.5 liter

Meskipun tiada maklumat rasmi ketika ini namun dijangkakan model V2 ini akan diperkenalkan dalam masa terdekat.

Boon Siew Honda Unveils 2018 Honda RS150R

  • Boon Siew Honda has revealed the 2018 model year Honda RS150R.

  • The 2018 edition has a new colour called Pearl Magellanic Black.

  • The Black, Blue and Red editions are priced from RM 7,999 while the Repsol edition continues to be priced from RM 8,299.

Malaysian Honda motorcycle distributor, Boon Siew Honda (BSH) has introduced the 2018 Honda RS150R, with a new livery.

 

The new colour, called Pearl Magellanic Black, is BSH’s response to RS150R owners who have been customizing their bikes to reflect their preferences. In other words, a new colour that allows owners the flexibility of changing the looks of their bikes without being encumbered by racing stripes and colours such as those currently available.

“We realize that the RS150R is selected and even customized to suit its owners’ identity,” said Keiichi Yasuda, CEO of Boon Siew Honda. “Therefore, the latest colour for the new 2018 edition of the Honda RS150R needs to be more imposing to complement its aggressive yet sublime looks.”

The RS150R is currently enjoying a popular following, hence brisk sales since its introduction in 2016. Targeted at the sports cub segment, it is one of the best-selling motorcycles in the BSH’s lineup.

The bike is powered by a Euro 3-compliant fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC, four-stroke 149cc engine. The 11.3:1 compression ratio shows that the long-stroke engine is has sportier intentions, while Honda’s proprietary PGM-Fi fuel-injection system ensures optimum power delivery while being economical and environmentally-friendly at the same time. The engine is then set in a twin-perimeter welded frame, suspended by telescopic forks up front and a monoshock at the rear.

The new Pearl Magellanic Black complements existing RS150R colours, namely Trico Edition, Candy Scintillate Red, Pearl Nightfall Blue and of course, the Repsol Edition.
