2000cc Moto Corsa naked bike in the works?

A 2000cc Moto Corsa naked bike is being planned to be released by UK-based bike dealer called Moto Corsa sometime next year.
Called the Moto Corsa 2K, the high-performance naked bike will have carbon-fibre bodywork plus other goodies from Ohlins, Dymag, and Beringer.
This highly performance-oriented machine will be powered by a 1961cc V-twin S&S engine with 100hp and 180Nm of torque.

A bike dealer called Moto Corsa originating from South West England has unveiled their master plan to start production as a premium low-volume motorcycle manufacturer and their first-ever machine promises to be a beast. MotoGP: Maverick Vinales ends Yamaha’s longest losing streak!

Maverick Vinales (Movistar Yamaha MotoGP) finally ended Yamaha’s longest losing streak with a spectacular victory at Phillip Island.
The Spaniard raced a perfectly-tuned Yamaha M1 to fend off the likes of Andrea Iannone (Suzuki Ecstar) and Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati Team).
Alvaro Bautista surprised everyone when he finished in P4 as the replacement for the injured Jorge Lorenzo.

Moto2: Brad Binder gains third win of the season in Australia

The 2018 Moto2 round in Australia saw Brad Binder (Red Bull KTM Ajo) securing his third victory of the season.
Joan Mir (EG 0,0 Marc VDS) and Xavi Vierge (Dynavolt Intact GP) crossed the chequered flag in second and third respectively.
The battle for the Moto2 crown will continue to Sepang between Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) and Binder’s teammate, Miguel Oliveira.

After an amazing Moto3 race at the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Phillip Island, it was the Moto2 boys’ turn to shake things up where the battle for the 2018 championship could’ve been decided today between Francesco Bagnaia (SKY Racing Team VR46) and Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo). Moto3: Albert Arenas wins nail-biting race at Phillip Island

Albert Arenas (Angel Nieto Team Moto3) secured a brilliant Moto3 at Phillip Island.
Fabio di Giannantonio (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) and Celestino Vietti (Sky Racing Team VR46) completed the podium spots.
Jorge Martin (Del Conca Gresini Moto3) extended his lead in the championship after Marco Bezzecchi (Redox PruestelGP) suffered another DNF.

As the Moto3 riders exited the last corner in the very final lap of the Michelin Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix, more than 12 riders were going against each other on the front straight as they fought to gain the top spot following a race full of action and drama throughout. (more…)

More than 50 bikers turnout to celebrate 10th anniversary of Naza Prestige

Naza Prestige celebrated 10 years of awesomeness with a Saturday morning ride with its loyal customers.
Over 50 loyal customers turned up in support of the anniversary ride.
Naza Prestige will continue to support its customers through great after sales service.
The company is also hosting year end sale with discounts of up to 70% on selected merchandise.

It has been 10 great years for Naza Prestige Bikes Sdn Bhd, and to celebrate a decade of awesome bikes and great rides, the company hosted a ride for about 50 bikers.

The ride began from the Naza Automall in PJ where the riders congregated for breakfast and a spot of shopping at the former Harley-Davidson outlet before being flagged off by Dato’ Samson Anand George, Group CEO, Automotive Group of Naza Corporation Holdings.

From there the ride continued to Kuala Klawang in Negeri Sembilan before heading back to Naza Automall for lunch.

“It has been 10 fantastic years for Naza Prestige Sdn Bhd with many milestones along the way. We organised this ride as a way to thank our loyal customers, and we are grateful that we got such strong support. We will continue to support our customers through great after sales and we hope to be able to organize more such rides in the future,” said Dato Samson about today’s ride.

“I would also like to take this opportunity to say that the Naza Automall now houses most of Naza’s four wheel brands and all two wheel brands under one roof. Dani Pedrosa confirmed as test rider for Red Bull KTM

Dani Pedrosa announced in July that he was going to retire from MotoGP racing at the end of the 2018 season.
Dani, who recently turned 33, has been on the Grand Prix podium over 33 times, but has never won a world championship.
Red Bull KTM has stepped up and hired Dani as a official test rider to develop the KTM RC16.
He will work alongside Mika Kallio.

Dani Pedrosa may not have won a world championship but he has come pretty darn close a few times. There is no doubt that he is one of the best riders on the Grand Prix grid, so it was quite sad when he announced that he was going to retire at the end of the 2018 season (click here to read about Dani’s retirement).

But as with many great riders retirement does not mean the end of their careers, it is just the beginning of another great career, and for Pedrosa, that new career starts at Red Bull KTM.

The Austrian team recently announced that the current Repsol Honda Team rider will be the official test rider for the team’s MotoGP line-up in 2019 and 2020.

Pedrosa, who raced in the premier class for 13 seasons, will work alongside Mika Kallio to develop the KTM RC16, which has been competing in MotoGP for three years now.

Pedrosa who recently turned 33, has over 30 MotoGP wins and over 50 wins in all classes. He has three world titles but none in the premier class, and has been on the MotoGP podium over 110 times.
