Italian superbike artisans MV Agusta debuts new Brutale 800 RR and Brutale Dragster 800 RR.
Just when we thought you couldn’t make sexy any sexier, our favourite off-beat Italian superbike marque did just that this week. Meet the brand’s new Brutale 800 RR and Brutale Dragster 800 RR ahead of this year’s annual EICMA show.
First of two to bow online is the Brutale Dragster 800 RR. MV Agusta have opted to prime this naked roadster with a revised version of Brutale Dragster’s 798cc triple-cylinder heart. The mill now offers 140hp generated at 13,100RPM and 85.3Nm of torque generated at 10,100RPM.
The Brutale Dragster 800 RR adopts several notable exterior revisions. Highlights here include its new red-anodized fork tubes, red-painted cylinder heads, and the aluminium tubeless wire-spoke wheels. Also new in the roadster’s features list is an eight-way adjustable steering damper.
Crucially, the Brutale Dragster 800 RR gains an updated version of MV Agusta’s MVICS electronic suite. Dubbed ‘MVICS 2.0’, the revised suite sees the bike also gaining a quickshifter system.
Its sibling the Brutale 800 RR naked, on the other hand, benefits with the same revised triple-cylinder engine and MVICS 2.0 rider aids suite. Standard equipment for the Brutale 800 RR is MV’s EAS 2.0, as well as ABS brakes.
