Asia Talent Cup Moto3 series opens registration for 2017 season this month.
Asia’s only Moto3 talent development series, the Asia Talent Cup, will return for its fourth season next year in 2017 and registration will be opened sometime this month.
Just like previous editions, the Asia Talent Cup series is open to all aspiring young racers from all over Asia, Australia and New Zealand between the ages of 13 to 21.
Registration for the series’ 2017 season is now open for all youths from the aforementioned regions between the ages of 12 and 20 from July 20 until August 21 this year. Applications must be submitted online via the series’ website, asiatalentcup.com, during this registration period.
After a screening process, shortlisted candidates will then be announced and notified on September 7 before heading for the Selection Event process held in the Sepang International Go Kart Circuit, Malaysia on October 25 and 26.
To refresh your memory, the Asia Talent Cup series stands as the region’s premier Moto3 racing series with the aim of developing the next generation of Asian racing talents for the world championship.
The one-make series sees its racers honing their skills astride identical Honda NSF250R machines supplied by key series partner HRC (Honda Racing Corporation). Other key partners include the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), Dunlop tyres, Red Bull and leading racing apparels brand Alpinestars.
Presently in its third successive season, the Asia Talent Cup series has inspired a new generation of young Asian riders by providing them a the perfect starting platform towards the world stage.
Past alumni and series champions have gone on to compete in other levels of racing with much success such as the Red Bull Rookies Cup and in the CEV Junior World Championship through the series’ own Asia Talent Team initiative.
