Huge plumes of smoke from a burning rice field in Bagan Serai, Perak, forced a lorry driver to stop his vehicle due to extremely poor visibility yesterday afternoon. Unknowingly at the back, a motorcyclist carrying his wife and two kids weren’t unable to see the stopped three-tonne lorry due to the same heavy smoke and unfortunately, collided straight into it. BMW Motorrad in the US is currently going through two major recalls which are affecting over 26,000 bikes in the country alone. The first issue is related to the front brake caliper which may leak fluid when the bike is stationary, and the second is regarding the fuel pump flange which may also leak and increase the risk of the bikes catching fire. Yesterday presented one hell of a MotoGP race where Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Tech3) took home his first-ever win for himself and his team, but not after the crazy incident where the first part of the race was red-flagged when Maverick Vinales (Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) jumped off his Yamaha M1 at 230km/h before ramming the barrier and exploding into a huge ball of flames. The white Toyota Vios driver who was caught on camera driving up the wrong way on the Federal Highway motorcycle lane near Mid Valley has surrendered himself the police last night. The video went viral yesterday where the rider recording suffered a minor crash trying to avoid the oncoming car. (more…)
