Honda kini menyiapkan model CRF250 Rally untuk pengeluaran pada tahun 2017. CRF250 Rally ini merupakan model yang diasaskan dari CBR250R telah menerbitkan versi derivatifnya iaitu CRF250L. Rekaan ‘Cafe Racer’ (pelumba kopi?) merupakan satu rekaan yang sangat menarik dan saya boleh kategorikan sebagai malar hijau (evergreen). Walaupun nampak retro dan klasik, rekaan ini sangat sesuai sepanjang zaman. Bentuk motosikal yang pendek dan bar handel yang rendah menaikkan seri keganasan motosikal ini. (more…)
Siri perlumbaan PIRELLI 250 & 300 Race Series menyediakan peluang terbaik untuk peminat motosikal menikmati pengalaman berlumba dengan keadaan yang terkawal di satu-satunya litar di Asia Tenggara iaitu Litar Antarabangsa Sepang (SIC).
Siri perlumbaan ini diuruskan oleh SBR Trackdays dan dikuasakan oleh Pirelli Malaysia, dijangka akan menerima 30 pelumba di grid. PIRELLI 250 & 300 akan berlangsung bersama-sama perlumbaan Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSC).
Siri ini menfokuskan kepada pelumba baru dan amateur yang sangat berminat untuk berlumba dalam satu kejuaraan yang kompetitif di litar bertaraf MotoGP tetapi dalam kos yang agak rendah. (more…)
Movistar Yamaha MotoGP’s Jorge Lorenzo had been strong at the Losail International Circuit the whole weekend and the race day was no exception. He rode a faultless race from start to finish, and brought home the first win of the season. Teammate Valentino Rossi also put in a strong result at the opening round of the 2016 MotoGP season, missing out on a place on the podium by just a tenth of a second.
Lorenzo’s race went according to plan at the start of the opening race when he had a perfect launch off the line from pole position. He led for the first lap, but was chased by Andrea Iannone and Andrea Dovizioso on the over one kilometre long straight at the Qatar track. The Spaniard was forced to let them pass, but he didn’t give up. As his rivals battled each other he lay in wait and after Iannone crashed out the Yamaha rider took his chance to make a charge for the lead for the second time. With 14 laps to go, he smoothly passed Dovizioso and continued to increase his pace. (more…)
Hafizh Syahrin enjoyed a competitive start to the 2016 season onboard his Kalex as he overcame a challenging 20-lap Moto2 race and a numb hand to finish fourth, hauling 13 precious points at the Qatar Grand Prix on Sunday.
The PETRONAS Raceline Malaysia rider qualified 16th but was promoted to 15th on the starting grid after Lorenzo Baldassarri forfeited the race having sustained injuries in a heavy crash during qualifying.
Even so, it did very little to help Hafizh as a botched start denied him the opportunity to close the gap on the front.
Hafizh instead had to push the limits to muscle his way through the field and his hard work paid off when he caught up with the leading pack by the fifth lap after Johann Zarco, Sam Lowes, Marcel Schrotter, Alex Rins, Robin Mulhauser and Takaaki Nakagami were given ride-through penalties having jumpstarted the race.
