The first MotoGP private test is currently ongoing (following the major disruption caused by COVID-19) where Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Pol Espargaro has set the fastest time of Day 1 in Misano. It seems that some folks think that Yamaha’s MotoGP test rider, Jorge Lorenzo, had ulterior motives when he quickly signed a test ride contract with Yamaha soon after retiring from racing. Although he made it clear that it was his time to quit racing after a fruitless time with Repsol Honda, his move back to Yamaha seemed to have brought a lot of theories, including Yamaha Racing’s managing director, Lin Jarvis. Hong Leong Yamaha Motor (HLYM) has announced that their latest offering for the 2020 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT will be available in the new Reddish Copper and Midnight Silver colour and graphics. Even with the new colour option, Yamaha’s top sport-touring machine is still priced at the same rate of RM58,888 (excluding road tax & insurance) as when it was launch in early 2019. (more…)
