MotoWorld Malaysia will be running a generous initiative for the holy month of Ramadan for the fallen Malaysian Cub Prix rider, Norizman Ismail.

A portion of their total sales earnings from now until Hari Raya will be donated to Norizman’s family for the upcoming Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

MotoWorld Malaysia will also set up a donation box in their store located in Petaling Jaya for those who wish to donate directly to Norizman’s family.

The great folks over at MotoWorld Malaysia are running a charity initiative for the late Malaysian Cub Prix rider, Norizman Ismail. The well-known veteran rider who had a very successful race career in the Petronas AAM Malaysian Cub Prix races for many years sadly passed away earlier this month in Kemaman, Terengganu. (more…)

 
Video tour of the Shell Advance booth in Kampung Baru.

In conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, Shell Advance will be having a special presence at major Ramadan bazaars around Klang Valley.

Starting at the famous bazaar in Kampung Baru, the Shell Advance booth will offer special promotions and free giveaways.

Customers who purchase any of the Shell Advance lubricants will stand a chance to win the Grand Prize – one year’s supply of engine oil, which sums up to about a carton of lubricant bottles (12 bottles).

Also, all customers will be given an opportunity to ‘spin the wheel’ where everyone is a winner. Prizes from the wheel include dates, a box of Ribena, lanyards, drawstring bags, and the most sought after item, a Shell Advance backpack.

In the spirit of Ramadan, Shell Advance will also be giving out free ‘dodol’ to all passers by, and also cooled face towels.

The booth began operations in Kampung Baru on the 27th of May and immediately was a hit among visitors to the bazaar. On the first day itself, customers won a total of three backpacks and a number of drawstring bags, dates as well as lanyards, while a few hundred dodol packages were handed out to passers by.

The Shell booth will continue to be at Kampung Baru until the 4th of June after which it will continue on to Taman Tun Dr Ismail where it will be until 11th of June. The booth will then move to Kelana Jaya where it will be from 12 of June until 18 of June. The final stop will be Kota Damansara where it will be from 19 June until the 23rd of June.

The following summarises the bazaar Ramadan dates:

Kampung Baru: 27 Mei – 4 June
TTDI: 5 June – 11 June
Kelana Jaya: 12 June – 18 June
Kota Damansara: 19 June – 23 June

A photo of what looks like a brand new BMW GS model has made its way online.

The new BMW is said to be the first to replace the entire F series starting with the F800GS.

BMW Motorrad has plans to come up with a brand new parallel-twin powered F-series later this year.

A shot has surfaced online showing what might possibly be the latest evolution of the BMW GS. According to Australian Motorcycle News, BMW Motorrad has big plans to release an entire range of brand new parallel-twin powered F series which will make their debut probably at the end of the year. The sixth round of the WorldSBK race held in Donington Park last weekend saw Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) dominated both races contributing to the team’s 100th win in the championship.

Tom Sykes won Race 1 with Leon Haslam (Kawasaki Puccetti Racing) in second followed by Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Racing) in third.

Jonathan Rea made an amazing comeback in Race 2 with the win followed by Tom Sykes and Chaz Davies.

It was a clear and landslide victory for both the Kawasaki Racing Team riders this past race weekend during the UK Round of the WorldSBK race held at the legendary Donington Park. After an interesting outcome from Race 1 which saw two of the top podium contenders crashing out, it was Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) aka “The King of Donington” who took the whole shot for Race 1. The super futuristic BMW Concept Link electric scooter was recently introduced during the annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy.

The Concept Link is a zero-emission vehicle that comes with great performance as well as high levels of intelligence to assist the rider while riding.

“The BMW Motorrad Concept Link, with its timeless and reduced style, is more than a concept – it is rather a symbol for a new era.”

BMW has unveiled its remarkable Concept Link electric scooter concept during the annual Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Italy. According to the German auto and bike manufacturer, the zero-emission scooter concept will change the general perception of how two-wheelers are used as a mode of transportation in and out of the cities.
