Kawasaki Malaysia roadshow offers free test rides and other goodies – Happening this Sunday!

Calling all Kawasaki owners and fans! Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KMSB) will be organising a test ride roadshow as well as a service campaign for all Kawasaki enthusiasts and current owners. The special event will take place this Sunday (14 May 2017) at Bulatan Bazarena, Stadium Melawati Shah Alam from 10am to 6pm.

The event is called Kawasaki “Always Close to You” Roadshow, and KMSB will also be showcasing their latest 2017 models, including the new Kawasaki Z650 ABS, Ninja 650 ABS, Z900 ABS and Versys-X 250. Fans, current owners and potential owners will all be given an opportunity to test ride these models to get a first-hand experience.

KMSB will be setting up a specially arranged course designed to allow riders to feel the agility, maneuverability, versatility and light-weight handling of all the new Kawasakis.

As for current owners of Kawasaki motorcycles, all Kawasaki riders will get a chance to get their motorcycle serviced during the event with no labour charge. The service will be carried out by highly trained Kawasaki Exclusive Service Centre (KESC) Glenmarie personnel.

KMSB has also planned other activities with its partners; Nestle Malaysia will be offering free Nescafe drinks for coffee lovers while other participating partners from Alpinestar Malaysia, Shoei Malaysia and Bridgestone Malaysia will display and offer their own range of products. AEON Credit Services and Tokio Marine Insurance will also be on hand to advise and offer their products to potential customers.

The roadshow activity is a part of KMSB program to reach out to their customers and the public. Kawasaki enthusiasts can stay tune for more updates from KMSB as they have planned for more roadshows. More Patents filed for the Yamaha MWT-9

New patents have surfaced showing the latest rendition of the amazing three-wheeled motorcycle from Yamaha dubbed the Yamaha MWT-9.

The concept three-wheeler was introduced back in 2015 during the Tokyo Motor Show and the latest patent shows a naked version compared to the original half fairing design.

Yamaha has been developing the MWT-9 with plans that one day, it’ll go into production.

Ever since news broke out that Yamaha came up with the Yamaha MWT-9 Concept back in 2015 during the annual Tokyo Motor Show, they have been getting mixed feelings about the possibility of the three-wheeled Yamaha being put into production. Furion Motorcycles designs a Torque Monster Hybrid Motorcycle Concept

A French-based design house called Furion Motorcycles has design a hybrid motorcycle concept.

The hybrid motorcycle is powered by a 645cc rotary engine paired with a 40kW electric motor.

Together, the engines are said to produce a massive 180hp and 205Nm of neck snapping torque.

French motorcycle design firm called Furion has come up with a pretty awesome concept of what is potentially a hybrid motorcycle. Pulling off the idea that the hybrid technology from cars can be applied to two wheelers as well gave birth to this futuristic sportsbike which kind of reminds us of the Kawasaki Z750. (more…)

Honda Monkey 125 Concept unveiled at the 2017 Vietnam Motor Show

The Honda Monkey 125 Concept has shown itself last week at the 2017 Vietnam Motor Show in Ho Chi Minh City.

According to the photos, the Monkey 125 shares its DNA with the current Honda MSX 125 or Honda Grom.

The Monkey 125 looks very similar to the patents filed by Honda in September of last year.

It was sometime around September of last year when the giant motorcycle manufacturer filed a patent for a brand new Honda Monkey 125. The Honda Monkey 125 concept bike has emerged itself in real life at the recent Vietnam Motorcycle Show that took place just last week in Ho Chi Minh City. Sky Team Motorcycles Introduces 2017 Sky Team Ace 125 Cafe Racer – RM7,366.78

The 2017 Sky Team Ace 125 Cafe Racer was launched earlier today at the ELITE Speedway PLUS Circuit.

The cafe racer is equipped with a single-cylinder, 125cc, 4-stroke engine churns out 11hp @ 8,500rpm and 8.5Nm of torque at 7,500rpm.

The ready-to-ride café racer from Sky Team is available at RM7,366.78 (on-the-road price).

Royal Enfield to Buy Ducati?

India’s Royal Enfield was rumoured to have been approached as one of the companies to possibly take over Ducati.

Ever since the major Volkswagen diesel emissions scandal in 2015, the company has hired Evercore to search for potential buyers of the big red giant motorcycle manufacturer.

The selling price could go upwards of €1.5 billion (around RM 7.1 billion).

One of the biggest brands in the history of motorcycling has sparked the interest of one Indian company, Royal Enfield. Ever since news broke out that the Volkswagen Group is planning to let go of the giant Italian bike brand, it is rumoured that Royal Enfield was one of the entities approached for the next company in line to take over the giant red Italian brand.
