BMW Motorrad Malaysia is inviting all BMW GS owners to join the BMW Motorrad Malaysia GS Trophy 2017 South East Asia Qualifier which will take place on the 12 to 13 August 2017.

The one winner of the two-day qualifying rounds will have the opportunity to represent Malaysia as part of the South East Asian team in the BMW Motorrad International GS Trophy competition in Mongolia in 2018.

Registrations are open from now until 12 July 2017. All BMW GS owners are welcomed to join and participate in the qualifying rounds.

Calling all BMW GS owners! BMW Motorrad Malaysia has a challenge specifically for you. In conjunction with the BMW Motorrad Malaysia GS Trophy 2017 South East Asia Qualifier, all GS owners are invited to take part in the motorcycle riding endurance race covering a number of different riding terrains which will challenge your adventure riding skills and put them to the test. Hesketh has announced that their 2017 Hesketh Sonnet cafe racer will be available sometime before September this year in the UK market.

Although there is no confirmed price just yet, it is said that the Sonnet will be priced around the £26,000 mark (around RM144,740).

The Sonnet is powered by a 2,100cc American S&S V-twin engine which produces 142hp and 210Nm of torque.

Back when it was introduced last year, the 2017 Hesketh Sonnet cafe racer is said to be arguably one of the most powerful and beautiful cafe racers of all time. Now, the British manufacturer of hand built luxury motorcycles has announced that the Sonnet will be available in the UK market sometime before September with a price said to be around the £26,000 mark (around RM144,740 after direct conversion). Launched back in May 2017, Modenas introduced two brand new entries to the Malaysian market with the exciting 2017 Modenas Pulsar RS200 and NS200.

When it was launched, the NS200 was considered as a naked version of the RS200 but the differences are actually night and day.

We tested both bikes in different riding experiences and locations and both bikes offer great packages and affordable prices which we know will be a big hit here in Malaysia.

Launched back in May 2017, Modenas together with Bajaj Auto Limited formed a partnership that looked like the ultimate pairing to take over the market share majority here in Malaysia. Getting your bike’s valve clearance checked out is important to make sure that the engine is running smoothly and at its optimum range.

The German MotoGP round saw Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) continue his domination at Sachsenring with a textbook win from pole position.

All the attention however was placed on second place finisher, Jonas Folger (Monster Yamaha Tech 3) who gave an impressive performance in front of his home crowd.

The MotoGP rookie gave Marquez a run for his money and even managed to lead the race before having to pull back due to tyre wear.

The master of Sachsenring Marc Marquez (Repsol Honda) extended his unbeatable eighth straight win at Sachsenring halfway through the 2017 MotoGP season. This eighth straight win also marked his impressive stat of winning all these races from pole position. The win also puts Marquez ahead of the 2017 championship with a total of 129 points. (more…)
