  • The second MotoGP round saw yet another unfortunate crash from Ducati’s Andrea Dovizioso which was caused by someone else

  • Aleix Espargaro (Aprilia Racing Team Gresini) took Dovi out while attempting to overtake but lost the front while doing so

  • Although clearly Espargaro was in the wrong, Dovi blasted Danilo Petrucci for riding recklessly that led to the incident between him and Espargaro

In the last MotoGP round that happened a couple of days ago at the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit held in Argentina, there were a few unfortunate incidents that led to some of the high profile riders to exit the race prematurely.   • The brand new Vilicum Circuit will host its first ever WorldSBK race in 2018 located in the San Juan Province, Argentina

  • The track is halfway completed and will apply for homologation by FIM at the end of 2017

  • The 4.2km track has 19 corners in total; 11 lefts and eight rights

Looks like Argentina will be the 26th country to host the Superbike World Championship in 2018. If all goes well, the country will be the first venue to hold a WorldSBK racing series in South America. The new track dubbed the Vilicum Circuit is located in the San Juan province near the infamous Route 40, about 1,117km away from the capital city of Buenos Aires. (more…)

  • Valentino Rossi completed his 350th Grand Prix race strong in second position

  • Cal Crutchlow kept his composure finished in P3 after battling it out with Rossi

It was a great race day for both Movistar Yamaha MotoGP riders, Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi. After crossing the line in first place, Vinales became the first Yamaha rider to win the first two MotoGP rounds since Wayne Gardner back in 1990. (more…)

  • Miguel Oliveira (Red Bull KTM Ajo) salvaged second spot after Alex Marquez crashed out of the race in the final lap

  • Thomas Luthi (CarXpert Interwetten) completed the podium spot 15 seconds behind Morbidelli

It’s a day filled with mixed emotions for the Moto2 EG 0,0 Marc VDS when both of their riders were heading for a one-two finish on top of the podium when all of a sudden Alex Marquez suffered a horrific crash in the very final lap. Franco Morbidelli came out on top (again!) after a very good start in the beginning of the race. (more…)

  • Joan Mir (Leopard Racing) continued his perfect season with his second straight Moto3 win

  • John McPhee (British Talent Team) stayed in second after a few great battles with the top five riders

  • Jorge Martin (Del Consa Gresini Moto3) completed the podium in third spot

It was Joan Mir from the Leopard Racing outfit who took the second Moto3 race of the season with a stunning victory at the Argentina GP. After a poor performance during qualifying on Saturday, Mir only managed to start today’s Moto3 race in 16th position but made a stunning comeback from behind. (more…)
