2020 Honda CBR250RR launched (finally!) – RM25,999

After countless months of waiting, Boon Siew Honda finally launched the 2020 Honda CBR250RR for the Malaysian market. The official launch was done online via the Honda Motorcycle Malaysia Facebook page live earlier tonight.

Authorised Boon Siew Honda dealers, particularly Honda BigWing, has been actively promoting the arrival of this 250cc sports bike, including accepting pre-bookings for this machine. The 2020 Honda CBR250RR is fitted with a 250cc inline-two DOHC engine that produces 41hp at 13,000rpm and 25Nm torque at 11,000rpm.

Other standard features available on this model are bi-directional quickshifter, assist/slipper clutch, ride-by-wire throttle system, and selectable riding mode (Comfort, Sport & Sport+). The design has been a major selling point for the new CBR250RR, so you just need to look at the aggressive façade to fall in love, especially those double-layered dual LED headlights.

That quickshifter system is paired with a six-speed manual transmission which also comes with an assist/slipper clutch. This whole package offers ease of riding due to light clutch work while riding slow and clutchless upshifts when you’re hitting that 13,000rpm for some fun in the track. Other features include dual disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, 17-inch wheels, and many more.

Boon Siew Honda has priced the 2020 Honda CBR250RR at RM25,999 (excluding insurance, road tax & registration). Two colours are up for grabs, Winning Red and Mat Gunpowder Black Metallic. To know more, head over to the nearest Boon Siew Honda dealership available nationwide.
