Harley-Davidson has unveiled their latest, biggest, and most powerful 2,147cc engine for street use and it’s called the Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight 131 Crate Engine. Designed for their touring models, this 131 cubic-inch (2,147cc) V-Twin is all about turning cruisers into power cruisers.
This 2.0-litre beast is without a doubt the biggest, most powerful street-compliant engine Harley-Davidson has ever created and it can simply be bolted on to Harley-Davidson Touring bikes (2017 and newer) originally equipped with a Milwaukee-Eight Oil-Cooled or Twin-Cooled™ engines. This provides higher RPM and extra torque boost while cruising.

The Screamin’ Eagle 131 Crate Engine delivers exactly that. Developed by the Screamin’ Eagle performance team and factory-assembled at Harley-Davidson Powertrain Operations to ensure the highest quality standards, this high-performance engine is genuine Harley-Davidson.”
The Screamin’ Eagle 131 engine produces 177Nm of maximum torque (131 ft-lb) and 121hp at the rear wheel by combining the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine’s 4.5-inch stroke (114.3mm) and a new 4.31-inch bore cylinders (109.4mm) plus the addition of the with Screamin’ Eagle® Street Cannon mufflers.
The US market can get the new 2,147cc Harley-Davidson engine for $6,195 (around RM25,185) for oil-cooled models and $6,395 (around RM25,998) for Twin-Cooled.
