2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory now available from RM169,900

Lightly refreshed 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory is now available in Malaysia from RM169,900, packs 217HP, GP-style aero and increased torque.

Malaysian Aprilia motorcycles distributors Didi Resources Sdn Bhd announced over the recent public holiday weekend that the refreshed 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory flagship superbike is now available locally.

Continuously updated over the years, the latest of which sees the 2022 model year version offer increased torque from its 65-degree 1,099cc V4 heart. There’s now 125NM of twist available at 10,500RPM onwards whilst power figure remains at 217HP.

As before, both outputs power the rear wheel via a 6-speed cassette type transmission primed with a slipper clutch and quick-shifter. The powertrain is also complemented with a host of electronic rider aids, key amongst which includes a total of six selectable ride modes, anti-wheelie, traction control, engine brake control, launch control, cornering ABS, cruise control, as well as a pit-lane speed limiter.

The 2022 Aprilia RSV4 1100 Factory also continues to offer semi-active Öhlins Smart EC 2.0 suspension suite, which also includes 43mm Öhlins NIX front fork and Öhlins TTX rear monoshock plus a Sachs steering damper. As for anchors, the RSV4 1100 Factory continues to employ Brembo hardware, namely its Stylema monobloc radial calipers up front with dual 330mm rotors.

Other notable race-derived bits include lightweight 17-inch forged aluminium wheels, as well as race-developed aerodynamics which includes integrated winglets. There’s also a wide array of optional accessories available which includes both slip-on and full-system Akrapovič pipes, carbon front brake air vents, billet aluminium levers, and more.
