AJP Malaysia has introduced the 2019 AJP PR5 250 and PR7 600 Adventure for the Malaysian market.
The latest addition into the Malaysian enduro bike segment originated from Portugal with vast experience in dual-purpose riding.
The PR5 250 comes in three variants; Enduro, Extreme, and Supermoto.
AJP Malaysia has officially entered the Malaysian market with the introduction of the new 2019 AJP PR5 250 and PR7 600 Adventure bikes. The company which was established back in 2015 as AJP SEA Sdn Bhd was appointed as the sole distributor back in 2016 and now, they’re going full swing with the launch of their new enduro machines.
After years of studying the bike market and motorcycle scene here in Malaysia, they’ve found out that the demand for enduro bikes and events are on a rising trend. Their latest 250cc and 600cc machines are imported to cater the needs of this growing segment in the country.
The AJP PR5 250 comes in three different variants; PR5 250 Enduro, PR5 250 Extreme, and PR5 250 Supermoto. All bikes come fitted with a 250cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, liquid-cooled engine (produces 30hp and 27Nm torque) and reinforced composite aluminium frame that weighs only between 118kg-123kg.
A 6-speed transmission controls the power is perfect for beginners, intermediate, and even track or on-road users alike. If you’re looking for something that can provide something interesting even for professional riders, then this Portuguese brand bike manufacturer can be considered as one of your choices.
The Enduro and Extreme models share the same dimensions with 940mm seat height and 320mm ground clearance whereas the Supermoto comes with 890mm seat height and 300mm ground clearance for better track performance.
As for suspension, a set of ZF Sachs package (48mm front fully-adjustable forks with 300mm of travel and rear progressive system with reservoir) is fitted to handle the rough riding parts. To slow things down, a front single 260mm with 2-piston caliper (270mm for Extreme variant) and rear 220mm single disc with single-piston caliper are fitted to their 250cc machines.
If you’re looking for something a bit more powerful, then the 2019 AJP PR7 600 Adventure should fit your riding needs. This 60hp enduro bike is said to redefine the adventure bike concept comes ready with a 600cc single-cylinder 4-stroke, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine which should inject more ‘oomph’ to your riding.
The frame which uses the same composite aluminium material is fitted with ZF Sachs suspension package (48mm fully-adjustable front fork and rear progressive system plus reservoir with 280mm travel) and disc brake system (front 300mm 2-piston caliper & rear 240mm single-piston caliper).
This all-out enduro machine is all about tackling all riding elements, especially with its huge dimensions (seat height 920mm, wheelbase 1540mm, ground clearance 320mm). Other specs include a 17-litre fuel tank and spoke wheels (21-inch front & 18-inch rear).

PR5 Enduro, Extreme, and Supermoto – RM25,000 – RM30,000
PR7 600 Adventure – RM55,000 – RM60,000
