5 Reasons Why Malaysia Would Be a Better Place to Host Asia Harley Days

The 2023 Asia Harley Days was undoubtedly a success. We attended the event and enjoyed the atmosphere. But despite being held in what can be described as the party capital of Thailand, Pattaya, with all of its potential and reputation for great parties, could have been better. But that is not to say we did not enjoy ourselves, we certainly did.

Perhaps the chosen location, Legend Siam, was too far from the town of Pattaya, which meant only those who were attending Asia Harley Days were there. For the regular person, Asia Harley Days remained inaccessible due to its distance from the town.

It also got us wondering, perhaps Malaysia with its awesome roads and nightlife may be a better choice. Besides, with the recent success of Coldplay in Malaysia, perhaps our beautiful country is finally ready to look past its own nose.

So here’s a few reason why Malaysia could be better and if done right, will attract more than the 2,500 participants that 2023 Asia Harley Days mustered.

1. Diverse Motorcycle Landscape:

Malaysia boasts not only sophisticated road infrastructure but also offers a diverse landscape. From coastal highways to challenging hilly routes, motorcycle enthusiasts can enjoy an exhilarating and adventurous riding experience.

2. Cultural Diversity and Culinary Delights:

Malaysia is renowned for its unique cultural diversity. With enthusiasts from various countries and regions, Malaysia provides an ideal platform to celebrate diversity and experience the uniqueness of each group. Additionally, indulge in a variety of delicious local cuisines to satisfy the palate of every participant.

3. Balanced Weather Throughout the Year:

Malaysia’s consistently balanced weather throughout the year provides an advantage to organizers and participants alike. With a stable and pleasant climate, the event can be conducted without being hindered by unpredictable weather conditions.

4. Growing Motorcycle Enthusiast Community:

The motorcycle enthusiast community in Malaysia is on the rise, making it an increasingly popular destination among motorcycle fans. The camaraderie and spirit of this community can add warmth to Asia Harley Days, creating a unique and brotherly atmosphere.

5. Easy Accessibility and Excellent Infrastructure:

Malaysia has a well-developed transportation system and infrastructure, making it an easily accessible destination for participants from across the region. With advanced public transportation facilities and well-maintained road networks, Malaysia ensures the comfort and smooth experience of participants throughout the event.

Of course, there are other things as well that visitors can enjoy such as the beautiful islands, our impeccable roads and highways as well as being centrally located between Thailand and Singapore.

With its cultural uniqueness, captivating landscapes, and a thriving community spirit, Malaysia undoubtedly may just be the better choice to host Asia Harley Days. Motorcycles, music, and the spirit of brotherhood has always come together quite well in Malaysia, and Asia Harley Days may just be the perfect opportunity to create an unforgettable experience for Harley-Davidson enthusiasts from across Asia.

Or perhaps Harley-Davidson can consider alternating between Thailand and Malaysia, since there are no better countries in Asia better suited for Asia Harley Days (yes, we are ready for the backlash).
