Chinese motorcycle manufacturer QJMotor is hard at work again. This week, the firm has launched the QJMotor SRK 400 entry-level naked bike in Europe, packing a respectable powertrain package matched with sharp styling and a tempting price tag.

Much of the styling cues are akin to what we’ve seen from its sister Italian brand Benelli. Underneath, the SRK 400 is motivated by a liquid-cooled 400cc DOHC parallel-twin that’s reportedly good for 41.5HP and 37NM.

Notable features present aboard include a full-colour TFT digital dash plus a sizeable 13.5-litre fuel tank capacity.

Obviously, it is poised to rival against things like the Kawasaki Z400 and KTM 390 Duke. Compared to said rivals, the SRK 400 is a tad larger and heavier, the latter made apparent as it is the heftiest in class with its claimed 186KG weight figure – roughly 20KG more.

Despite so, this Chinese fighter does have a huge advantage in price, which reportedly reads at €5,800 (approx. RM 26,602.77). Said figure sees this starter naked undercut the bulk of its competition anywhere between €200 to €450 (approx. RM917.34 to RM2,064.01).

While it looks promising, the overall market reception of the QJMotor SRK 400 in Europe remains to be seen. Though given how this particular Chinese marque, as well as a few others, have progressed, we reckon it’s a matter of time.
