1) APRC – 23 pax (RSV4, Dorsoduro, Shiver, Tuono V4)

2) Open Bikes – 32 pax (Honda, Suzuki , Kawasaki, Triumph, BMW, Yamaha & KTM)

Aprilia monopolise the podium with Guintoli on top

Aprilia gets 1-2-3 at Phillip Island World Superbike Race 1. It’s the second time that the manufacturer from Noale monopolise the podium (first one was at Nurburgring last year) with works rider Sylvain Guintoli (Aprilia Racing Team) taking his 4th win of the career in his first race onboard the RSV4, ahead of team mate Eugene Laverty. Older bikers face higher risks

ACCORDING to a recent study in the US, age is now a factor in causing motorcycle injuries. Data collected in the study between 2001 to 2008 revealed that bikers ages 60 and above are three times more likely to be hospitalised after crashing. (more…)

Honda VTR 250 F makes comeback in Japan

WITH a production history dating back to the early 1980s, the Honda VTR250F made its comeback recently in the Japanese domestic market.

Dubbed by many as a mini-VFR750, the 2013 model retains its signature fuel-injected 249cc liquid-cooled V-twin engine configuration generating up to 29bhp. The 2013 VTR250F also features the CBR250R’s headlamps to go with its half-fairing body that strongly hints towards the FireStorm. (more…)
