New Colours for the 2025 Honda ADV160

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. introduces several new colours for the 2025 Honda ADV160.

The Honda ADV160 is a small capacity, lightweight adventure scooter that has seen great sales throughout the country. These new colours refresh the model that has been sold since 2023.

There are two colour categories for this bike – one is the standard, while the other is the special edition.

Standard edition

There are two new colourways here: Matte Black, and Red, available the alongside the existing White colourway. The new colours feature sleek stripe designs to enhance the scooter’s adventure inspired look. All three three options are priced from RM13,249.00 (nett selling price, not on-the-road).

Special edition

Honda calls the special edition a more refined look for the Honda ADV160. The new colourway is called Grey as an addition to the existing Matte Green. The special edition colourways are priced from RM13,549.00 (not on-the-road) i.e. RM300.00 more.

Availability

The 2025 Honda ADV160 with refreshed colours will be available at all IMPIAN X showrooms and
authorised Honda dealers nationwide, expected from 8th May 2025.

About the Honda ADV160

The Honda ADV160 is powered by a 157cc Enhanced Smart Power Plus (eSP+) engine, delivering exceptional fuel efficiency, smoother performance, and reduced emissions through advanced combustion design and precise PGM-FI fuel injection.

Boon Siew Honda Sdn. Bhd. has announced two new colour options for the 2024 Honda ADV160, namely Gray and White.

The mechanical aspects of the popular lightweight adventure scooter remains unchanged, featuring a 157cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve engine with eSP+ technology, that delivers 11.8 kW (15.8 hp) at 8,500 RPM and 14.7 Nm of torque at 6,500 RPM.

The engine’s performance is complimented by the Honda Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) system that optimises engine torque delivery according to tyre traction, while an advanced Idling Stop System (ISS) enhances the engine’s fuel efficiency.

Rider comfort still consists of a low seat height of 780mm, besides a two-step adjustable windscreen. ABS is standard for the front brake only, despite the rear disc brake system.

Other features include the Honda Smart Key system, a 5V 2.1A USB charger, and 30 litres of underseat storage space.

Honda claims the 2024 Honda ADV160’s wet weight with a full tank of fuel at 133kg.

Buyers are entitled to a 20,000km or two year warranty, whichever comes first.

2024 Honda ADV160 To Be Available In The US

Thanks to the latest displacement bump, the 2024 Honda ADV160 is finally making it’s way to the US.

The slight bump in displacement from 149.3cc to the latest 156.9cc makes the new generation ADV 160 highway-legal in large part of the states where it wasn’t before.

Similar to the one available in Malaysia, the ADV 160 features the same 156.9c liquid-cooled 4-stroke, single-cylinder engine that makes 15.8hp and 14.7Nm. Power is delivered by CVT transmission with final belt drive.

The ADV160 is suspended by Showa suspension with 31mm telescopic front fork and twin shocks at the rear. Brake consist of a single calliper up front paired to a single 240mm disc. However, while the Malaysian market gets a hydraulic single disc at the rear, the US model is equipped with a more conventional drum brake.

Nonetheless, the US-spec stil features 14-inch wheels at the front and 13-inch at the rear.

Other important update includes Honda Selectable Torque Control, 30L storage space, taller adjustable windscreen and restyled bodywork which include a wider leg shields. The ADV160 also gets a new digital LCD meter.

According to reports, the 2024 Honda ADV160 will be available in the US sometime in July.
