The first race of the WorldSBK Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” saw Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) crossing the line in first place in the final lap drama.

All three front runners who are Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati), Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) and Marco Melandri crashed out in the final lap of the race.

Alex Lowes (Pata Yamaha Official WorldSBK Team) secured second followed by Rea who managed to salvage the final podium spot after the huge collision with Davies.

It was an epic win for Kawasaki Racing Team rider Tom Sykes who miraculously crossed the finished line in first place during the first race of the Pirelli Riviera Di Rimini Round held at the Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli”. It was an amazing win considering that he was in fourth at the beginning of the final lap with a significant gap between Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team), Chaz Davies and his Aruba.it Racing Ducati team mate, Marco Melandri. The 2017 Kawasaki Versys-X 250 gets some beautiful upgrades from highly-renowned aftermarket product manufacturer, Yoshimura.

They’ve come up with a brand new Yoshimura R-77 exhaust system that is 1.8kg lighter and also will help increase the bike’s overall torque and power.

Yoshimura also came up with a new Fender Eliminator Kit just for the 2017 Versys-X 250/300 to give it a sleeker yet racing appeal.

It was only a few months ago when Kawasaki Motors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (KMSB) brought us their highly anticipated 2017 Kawasaki Versys-X 250. For the Malaysian market, this little adventure bike has filled in a gap that has been missing which has the potential to grow big and fast. (more…)

Kawasaki achieved one of the biggest milestones in the last round of WorldSBK where they scored a total of 100 wins in the racing series.

Both Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes from the Kawasaki Racing Team contributed to the 100th win at Donington Park where they dominated Race 1 and Race 2.

The feat was done on board Kawasaki’s ultimate track weapon, the outstanding Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10RR.

During the last WorldSBK round at Donington Park during the sixth PATA UK Round, the Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) created history by achieving their 100th win the Superbikes World Championship. Alpinestars Tech-Air has been honoured with an award for best ‘Wearables’ category in this year’s Consumer Electronics Show Asia Innovations Awards.

The motorcycle riding gear expert was the best nominee for the award in Shanghai, China last week where they came out on top for their innovative product.

There are two distinct versions of the Tech-Air™ systems; Tech-Air™ Street which was released back in 2014 and Tech-Air™ Race in 2016.

One of the pioneers of active airbag technology for motorcycle racing suits and safety gear has been awarded at the Consumer Electronics Show Asia Innovations Awards earlier this week. Ducati just introduced a brand new 2017 Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 at the Wheels and Waves event over at Biarritz, France.

The bike made a two-day road trip from Borgo Panigale, Italy where the Mach 2.0 travelled together with an updated Ducati Scrambler Full Throttle with new graphics.

The Mach 2.0 was designed by Roland Sands which was inspired by the Bell Cross Idol helmet included in the Ducati Scrambler 2017 apparel collection.

Ducati has just launched their latest addition the Scrambler family that is the 2017 Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0. The new Scrambler was unveiled during the Wheels and Waves event held in Biarritz, France. The famous French event goes on from 14 to 18 June 2017 and the Mach 2.0 was ridden from Borgo Panigale all the way to Biarritz. (more…)

Yamaha Motor Corporation (USA) followed up with yet another addition to their small capacity motorcycle line up with the 2018 Yamaha V Star 250 cruiser.

Powered by a 249cc,60-degree V-twin, air-cooled, SOHC carburettor engine, it’s the only V-twin motorcycle in its class.

The US market will start delivering the 2018 V Star 250 beginning September 2017 with a price tag of $4,349 (around RM18,606).

Together with the very recent release of the 2018 Yamaha XT250 and TW200 dual-sport motorcycles, Yamaha continues to expand their small capacity bike line up with the addition of the 2018 Yamaha V Star 250 cruiser. This comes right after another exciting launch of their Goldwing contender ‘transcontinental cruiser’, the 2018 Yamaha Star Venture. (more…)
