Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R recall happening in the US – Gearbox might break?

A Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R recall just started in the US where the NHTSA has identified a major issue related to the transmission gears.

Almost 4,000 units of ZX-10R and ZX-10RR built from 2016 to 2018 have been discovered with this issue.

A high impact force may cause the transmission gears to break during shifting especially the 2^nd, 3^rd and 4^th gears.

There’s a Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R recall currently happening in the US right now where almost 4,000 units of ZX-10R and ZX-10RR built from 2016 and 2018 have been identified to be affected. Based on the report made by the NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration), “A high impact force may cause the transmission gears to break during shifting.” (more…)

Honda introduces Honda Asia-Dream Racing team with Zaqhwan Zaidi!

The Honda Asia-Dream Racing Team was officially launched earlier today with their star rider, Zaqhwan Zaidi.

The newly-formed team will start competing in the 2018 All-Japan Road Race Championship and Suzuka 8-hour endurance race.

Their focus will then shift towards the new Superbike class in the Asia Road Racing Championship beginning 2019.

To further strengthen their ever-growing presence and dominance in the world of motorcycle racing, Honda Group of Companies in Asia & Oceania has officially introduced the Honda Asia-Dream Racing team earlier today. Moto2: Zulfahmi Khairuddin set for 2018 with new bike and livery!

Zulfahmi Khairuddin revealed his latest Kalex Moto2 race bike yesterday at the Sepang International Circuit.

Newly appointed to race for the SIC Racing Team, the 26 year old is eager to get back into racing in the world’s most competitive intermediate class.

The SIC Racing Team has partnered up with KBS Malaysia to sponsor their Moto2 efforts for 2018.

One of Malaysia’s top motorcycle racers that is Zulfahmi Khairuddin who was recently announced as one of two Moto2 riders representing Malaysia for the 2018 season has unveiled his brand new bike and livery at the Sepang International Circuit (SIC) just yesterday. The 26 year old national rider will be racing for the SIC Racing Team with KBS Malaysia as their main sponsor. (more…)

Moto3: Petronas Sprinta Racing ready for 2018!

The Petronas Sprinta Racing Moto3 team has been officially launched yesterday at the Sepang International Circuit.

The whole new partnership between Petronas and SIC has led to the team’s new direction for 2018.

Both Adam Norrodin and Ayumu Sasaki are ready to bring the fight to the rest of the Moto3 field.

2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE unveiled – RM9,988!

Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has officially introduced the 2018 Benelli TNT 135 LE.

The limited edition model comes with around 15 new aesthetic updates including a carbon fibre exhaust cover.

There are only 1,000 units available with a price tag of RM9,988 (basic price without GST).

WorldSBK: PATA Yamaha launches 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1!

The PATA Yamaha Official WorldSBK team has unveiled their title challenger for this season that is the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1.

The unveiling was done in conjunction with the WorldSBK pre-season testing in Portimao, Portugal.

Both Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark are ready to bring Yamaha their first victory since 2011.

The WorldSBK scene just got more interesting with the launch of the 2018 Yamaha YZF-R1 which is going to be used by the PATA Yamaha Official WorldSBK team. Together with coveted riders Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark, the duo is set to take the 2018 season by storm. (more…)
